The grounds are well kept and garden area is very nice. The staff is always very pleasant and friendly. The food is very good.

My mom absolutely loves it and the care the staff shows her eases my mind. I toured so many facilities near me and this by far was the best. It impressed me with the appearance. It's like a luxury hotel. The staff are so kind and helpful. The leaders are never too busy to speak with me about my mom's care. The nursing staff is amazing and provided care for her post operative wounds. The on-site restaurants have quality food with lots of variety. The exercise classes are very helpful. Every evening there is a movie in the community room (many of them newer movies just out of theaters). There's a lovely courtyard with amazing landscaping that provides a safe and welcoming option for spending time outdoors. It's a lovely place to live with caring people.

What we like most about Russellville Park are the welcoming residents, the great staff and the great memory care unity. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

Everyone is so friendly that works there. Once my mom got used to the day to day activities and made friends she has been happy. She’s eating better, getting out and seems happier. As a family we are happy she is safe and is getting the help she needs.

My 94 year old Mom was resistant to leaving her residence where she had lived by herself for 25 years. We set her up at Carmel Village and she is thriving. She is eating better and getting more exercise. She agrees that this was the right move for her.

I would rate all at 5 - we have a resident council that meets once a week. The executive director has a Town Hall meeting once a month. There are many activities so you can be involved as much as you like. There is also a hair salon on site.

Overall experience - good combination of value and quality. Clealiness -facility looks good Friendliness of staff - Great staff. They often say hi by name to residents in hallways. They are very positive and upbeat. Quality of care - good care, they address issues as they come up. Could use a bit more staff. Meals/Dining - they have good food, parents like it. Activities - Lots of them and a variety, however my parents do not take advantage of many of them. Overall a good value.

The facility is clean but our loved ones apt. the cleaning is more like a 3/4. With the meals and dining, in general, meat is overcooked/dry. The activities are a 5 although I wished she'd participate a bit more. Value for Cost.... her rent went up after less than a year, and she says it's quite a bit higher than another tenant with equivalent accommodations. I haven't dug into details as yet to better understand her concern. Our family's experience in independent living has been extremely positive - lovely staff, clean, well maintained accommodations, plenty of activities for all to enjoy. Would highly recommend.

5 for all! She loves the facility and the staff. Staff friendly and responsive. Facility is clean and well appointed. Lots of interesting and fun activities every day. Food is delicious.

I would tell a friend, that it is great. The average age is definitely in the 80's. My father in law was younger but suffering from Parkinson's so he didn't socialize much. The staff is extremely friendly, trustworthy and attentive. He received excellent care which allowed for us to have peace of mind.

People are friendly, food is great, and activities wonderful.Rooms are adequate. I love the movie theater, too. Outings are frequent enough. Medical staff is trained and good security. Plenty of walking paths available.

The transition to Pasadena Highlands was as smooth as it could be. [name removed] bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. My mom has been in the facility for over a month and after not wanting to move, she now can’t stop telling us how much she loves her new place. Everyone there knows her name and we are beyond grateful that we found this place! The garden area in back is a particular treasure to have found as my mom really enjoys walking and needed a place to do so safely. We can’t say enough about how fortunate we feel to have found this gem with the help of A Place for Mom!

Russellville Park is wonderful! My mom experienced all three levels of living: Independent Living, Assistant Living and Memory Care. At each level the staff treated her and other residents with respect and dignity. The caregivers with Assisted Living and Memory Care got to know my mom's wishes and needs. The care was respectfully given. Once in a while she would have a medical emergency and when that happened the staff were right on it and stayed with her until other help arrived. The staff was always communicative with me about her needs personal or supply wise, and when anything unusual occurred. Russellville park is great and I had every confidence in the facility and how she was treated. I would not hesitate to live there myself.

On [date removed] I took my 88-year-old father to visit this pretty location in Reno. We visited with a sales counselor who told us about this property and wisely shared the importance of being “proactive rather than reactive” when making a decision about when to make an important move like this. We were impressed with him and his conscientious, kind, patient, and respectful demeanor. He showed us the fantastic movie theater, serene exterior areas, and we could appreciate that they have an impressive, elegant library upstairs. We liked that they offer a few assisted living units with its own cozy dining room. We found that all the employees we encountered were friendly and engaged us. We highly recommend a visit to this gem in Reno!

Carmel Village community has beautiful grounds and is just overall a nice facility. What we like the most about the community is the friendly staff they have working there. Based on the experience we have had, we have already recommended this community to others and will continue to do so.

My loved one is currently a resident at Carmel Village and the experience has been very good for her. As soon as she walked into Carmel Village, she said "This feels so good and homey." The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is okay; not bad, but not great. Personally, it seems that a little more effort could be put into activities that are aimed at memory care. But my loved one really loves the musical events. All in all, she's in a comfy, safe environment, surrounded by good people and activities and more assistance, as needed.

All of them are 5s. They have worked with my mom to engage with others instead of staying in her room all the time. The meals are excellent although more food than she can eat. I looked at three complexes and they were the best for the money. She has a private room with a shared bath.

I looked at every facility in the Temecula area. It's a very clean and beautiful facility with a positive atmosphere. It's in a central location near the 215 freeway and many medical offices. Transportation to medical appointments is available. I appreciated that I didn't feel a lot of sales pressure to sign my mother up. The staff is very friendly and the are approachable. The activities program is very strong with a full time activities director and staff. They have many daily activities and trips. For an active senior it's perfect. The management staff is responsive and the move in process was smooth. My mom likes the food, the afternoon tea, and her caregivers so far. She moved there in January. There is a family portal called LifeLoop where you can view the activities for the week.
