Staff always say hi and are very patient. They have a lot of fun activities and outings. I wish they would have a few more for legally blind residents. Dining room feels like a vacation and there are lots of choices including the ability to get 1/2 if you are not a big eater. Overall my mom has been very happy there and has made many friends.

The staff is caring and concerned. They check on her twice a day and call when she is not feeling well. The med tech handles all of her prescriptions and gives them to her as prescribed. She is very happy with the food.

We shopped multiple communities for my mom and dad in San Diego and finally chose the right one for my parents. The Remington Club is so warm and comfortable and we enjoy joining my parents for special events. Recently we attended the Mother's Day brunch and the community carnival. All fun events and sometimes I have trouble finding them as they are out enjoying the pool or the morning exercise class. They have a few new managers who the residents rave about. [name removed] is heading up dining services and [name removed] is the new Executive Director. I brought up a few things regarding the apartment and they were repaired that day. We love Rancho Bernardo and hope to move into a place that is warm and friendly like The Remington Club. If you are in the area, please come check this community out.

Happy with the community, the food service and the other residents are welcoming. The price is a little high compared to some other places.

Overall The Grove is a wonderful place and we are glad our sister is there. Only major complaint is the managing of her diet ie, diabetic (non-insulin) and the simple request of only serving her sugar-free desserts and syrup for pancakes is not happening consistently. I can also say that their holiday and special occasions festivities are wonderful

The entire staff was so kind to my Mom, especially those in the memory care unit. They took care of her like family. She grew to love several of the caregivers before her passing.

I would recommend making an appointment to tour the facility - you really get an idea of what is available - activities, apartment sizes, dining room, fitness center, etc.

This community was by far the only good community within Carson City. The team members had a genuine care for my moms well being and her overall happiness. The food wasn't amazing, but it certainly wasn't horrible. They did a change over in the kitchen to something called Compass - though not sure it actually helped them at all. My mom loved being in the community and it truly felt like a family walking in. The community is only as good as you make it - were there some issues in the first few weeks? Yes. Were they all resolved? Absolutely. Things happen - and a transition period into a place like this can be hard. I'd recommend The Lodge over and over again to anyone who wants a place that you can trust to take care of your parents to the end.

What I liked most about the community is it was informative and gave lots of options. There are not enough activities, but the apartments are a good size.

It is quiet. Clean. You feel safe. It feels homey. Very comfortable. It was cheaper and I was able to get an apartment with 2 bedrooms that was cheaper than a lot of the places with one bedroom and most importantly, they allowed my husband who is a lot younger than the people their, get in there because he needed an elevator and other disability needs because he had a stroke.

The staff is very polite, courteous, caring, and supportive in every way I need them to be. My father is extremely happy and proud of the staff, especially [name removed] and [name removed]. Thank you for making my father and I feel comfortable and safe.

making a group of friends becomes your family here. the food is a 3 but we just got a new chef so it may change. great director. expensive but right for me. Talk to residents when you are here. Make sure it is what you want for your individual needs.

Everything so far has been a 5. If I could rate it higher I would. Everything has been great. They keep me informed of everything.

We've been pleased with the facility and the caregiver staff support. My mom unfortunately is now bed bound so unfortunately she's not able to enjoy the beautiful grounds/ courtyard or the regularly scheduled activities and events they hold. Food quality is good with flexibility for time of day to preferred for meals. Med management has been very good. The facility is very good, clean and well maintained for the price we pay but it is an older facility so may not appear a nice and new as other higher priced facilities. All in all I highly recommend Carmel Village

I am a local referral agent and I have placed several clients at Laurel Heights in their Memory Care community . The staff is friendly, and very responsive to resident needs. The memory care activities director is one of the best I have witnessed. She is always engaged with the residents and keeps them very active and involved. Having seen numerous local communities Laurel Heights is one of the very best! Highly recommend!

5's across the board! The friendly and caring staff, the food is great, the garden and walking path are amazing, really clean, nice range of activities. Overall it has been a wonderful place for my mom! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families

Staff is friendly. Seems very clean. Meals are good. Could provide more activities. The balloon volleyball is great, and bingo is great. A few more things like that would be good. Things that are easy to do and don't require a lot of learning. The Tuesday outings are also great. Lovely community with considerate staff in an environment which continually adapts and improves to meet the needs of its resident

[name removed] and [name removed] and [name removed] are wonderful. [name removed] is kind. [name removed] is by the book. No compassion whatsoever. The only downside is no dishwasher. The 2 bedroom seems small, but I had a big 2 bedroom before moved here.

The facility is immaculate. Staff know who I am and call my mom by name. There are activities daily in the lobby. Most times when I go to visit, there are snack and entertainment happening. Rio makes announcements regularly, so everyone is aware of what is happening. My mom is [age removed]and has memory issues. They give her all the help needed and check on her regularly.
