They keep my mom's room very clean. They have a lot of activities they offer. I like the way it is physically set up. All the rooms has a balcony which is good for the residents.

Sterling Place is going well. He is feeling comfortable and settling in. I have no complaints. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The value is good. I am very happy with how it's going.

Lovely, Caring, bright and sunny, lots of activities. Some concerns regarding Mom's behavior - they may not take her. She can't have the dog, but there is a resident dog and pet therapy. Memory Care doesn't have a piano.

For the most part we are happy with them. Communication is difficult sometimes. I can tell one staff member things and it doesn't get passed to the rest of the staff. It's clean, and the food is really good, the portions are just large. It's really friendly. We liked the location, and that when I walked in it felt homey, and everyone looked happy and well taken care of.

It was rough in the beginning. My Mother-In-Law is at this facility. There was a little mishap with medication. There was a mistake with the dosage and she was not getting her meds. We were not very happy with that. All in all now that we are getting used to the fact that this is where she lives, we are all adjusting. This was a difficult decision, but it is working out now. I have not been able to visit her yet, but my husband has and things are working out now.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. At the time of my search The Remington Club had a wait list so we ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Older building but had some great green space and a beautiful restaurant. It had the greatest amount of activities available. Sounds like they had parties all the time! Staff seemed quite friendly and enthusiastic. The residents seemed quite happy. The rooms were spacious and they were willing to paint the walls any color you wanted. The only bad thing was that the hallways were dark and dingy looking.

Everything is good there. All the meals that they serve are fine. There are plenty of activities there for the residents to participate in. So far my loved one really enjoys it there at Rio Las Palmas.

My mother is living there now; she's hard-of-hearing, so she just can't participate in some activities like bingo, but I feel they could do more to make it more accessible for people who can't hear as well, like big electronic numbers, for example. It also seems shorthanded, but I believe they've hired more people recently.

Overall I think they do a good job at Sterling Place. The facility is very clean and well kept, and the staff are friendly and professional. They're very attentive for the first few weeks when someone moves in, which really helps the transition go smoothly and helps the new person settle in. We've had experience with a few different communities, and one thing that stands out here is how good the food is, he really seems to enjoy it!

Close to my parents' house. Nice and quiet, calm energy. Larger community. Evin was very nice and informative. Definite +.

Nice place it's pretty nice all the way around the grounds. And the people seem nice and friendly. Looking for assisted living for Ma with cueing and direction they offer a personal care package to address this. Looks pretty good.

It's really clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is just okay, they have a very limited variety. The people serving in the dinging room don't communicate with the kitchen as well as they could. The transportation is limiting. The state requirement for medicine management and the packaging regulations make it so you can only go through certain pharmacies and it's very restrictive. It also puts peoples plan B at risk and then you have to worry about falling into the doughnut hole.

This is a nice facility although it needs a little updating. The food smelled good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We haven't actually moved in yet. So far in working with them, my first impression is good. I don't have much experience, but things look good so far.

It’s a very clean place. The staff is excellent. I think they’re understaffed. I would refer anyone there. The food is like a five star restaurant – it’s very good. The parking can be a little limited. We’ve been happy with them.

It was nice, it was beautiful. We considered it, but it was in kind of a busy location, there was a casino right across the street. It felt kind of boxed in, not free flowing. They also didn't offer shuttle service outside of the Carson area, so Dr. appointments would have been difficult for us. Beautiful but not the right fit for us.

I found that the facility truly understands the practical needs of their residents. The sincere care given by the staff surpassed all my expectations. The highest level of care was needed. The highest level of care was given.

The staff are friendly here. When I call, they are willing to talk to me and answer my questions. However, I think that they need more staff. When the residents press their buttons, to go to the bathroom for example, it takes them 15-20 minutes to respond. Also, sometimes they give the medicine late because they get tied up in things. However, they have a lot of activities to do! They have classes and go on scenic drives together! For the price, it's a bit on the high end, but cheaper than some of the others I've seen. They do kind of nickle and dime you though, and charge for every little service. One complaint would be the communication between the staff. Sometimes, I get approached about the same situation multiple times and it doesn't seem like they communicate well with each other. Here, my loved one is able to have a bigger room. She is able to go to the restaurant and pick a meal off the menu. The amenities and accomodations are nice. The staff are friendly and know everyone's names.

IT IS A LITTLE TO SOON TO EVAULALATE. THREE WEEKS. SO FAR GOOD.
