We've had a great experience with Carmel Village. I would definitely suggest looking into it for a loved one. I like the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is very friendly and patient, which I've found very helpful. They work with you, which has been really nice. Especially in memory care, everybody is really good with helping my loved one. I feel very fortunate to have her there.

What sticks out most about Carmel Village is the very friendly staff. The facility itself is clean and bright. They have beautiful outdoor space. There are many activities and the activity coordinator is open to feedback you might have. I would absolutely recommend Carmel Village to others looking.

My loved one is content. They are happy with their apartment and the field trips. It's clean, the staff is friendly, the meals are fine, activities are well organized and fun. Good value!

So far so good, everything is going well. We're happy that A Place for Mom helped us find Renaissance Village Murrieta.

The memory care staff truly cares about their residents. The front desk staff is amazingly friendly and helpful as well.

I can comment on the following as family member (not as client).

Overall it has been a good experience for our loved one and family. There are three meals a day served to the residents. There is a set menu for the residents to order from with a rotating hot dish for the residents to choose from as well.

The biggest thing I would say is I wish that they provided more engaging activities for the residents. I think the staffing issues have played into this - and Covid hasn't helped either. My dad is a picky eater, so others might say that the food is better. They do what they can to accommodate him.

Overall the care is very good. The facility is excellent. It's brand new and very clean. My only complaint really is they are still lacking some staff due to the pandemic, and it's hard for them to hire people.

The grounds are beautiful and this is a really nice place. The community is very nice and the layout is great and works for most of the residents. The staff can be non attentive at times and they do not get back to request quickly. They also appear to be understaffed. If you are an independent person then you will be okay, if you need help and depend on the staff then it may not be okay.

Based on what we have available and the price range this community is in a good price range. The staff that they have here and I have had contact with are great with the residents. THey do have different activities for the residents to do and stay busy in the community. My loved one however, is not able to participate but they do care for their residents here at this community.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice experience, the community was clean and staff were friendly. The location is super nice but it just felt a little to sterile

Even with the turnover of staff making things confusing at times, they are so very caring to our loved one.

The tour at WellQuest was great, and the staff were professional. It just wasn't the right fit for our family member. He felt more comfortable with a smaller facility.

Sterling Place is a great place to go; a very clean and safe community. however, there is some room for improvement in a few areas. when we moved my loved one in, we had to use broken down shopping carts and a homemade dolly cart (made of wood and tape). I almost hurt myself while using the dolly. they could benefit from replacing their equipment, as it would significantly help the moving in process. they also need new carpet inside and new paint on the walls. some of the wall repairs weren't done correctly, so it does look a bit tacky in some areas. it's a clean place, it just hasn't been updated in a long time. my loved one is also suffering from the heat in their apartment. we brought this to the attention of the maintenance man [name removed]; he said the boiler downstairs may be broken. I'm unsure if anything has been done about it yet, as I haven't visited in a little while. aside from those things, it's a great place. I have told other people about the value for cost and that it's a good place to live. [name removed] is outstanding! she is just fantastic and is worth her weight in gold! she knows everyone by name, she should be running the place. she has such an outstanding personality! kudos to her.

All I can do is compare to the last place that I was at. Carmel Village is much better. I think the apartment is fine. And they are more organized, more efficient, and quicker in response times.

Nice, modern community with good space. The shared rooms are open between the two beds.

They have hired a new chef that was taken over and the meals and dining service and the process of their menu is much more consistent. The people we met with on the tour and the sales people were very helpful and outgoing.

The friendliness of the staff members there really stand out to us and based on our experience so far we would recommend Sunrise of Fresno to others.

This community was old and dark and I wanted something brighter and more clean for my loved one.
