WellQuest Living

Our family had an in person tour with Carmel Village and the tour experience as well as the community was all really nice, but ultimately it came down to the cost and location and that is why we did not choose it for our loved one.

We toured Carmel Village during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The facility was good as far as the staff, cleanliness, friendliness, etc. However, it had a much more institutional feeling than other facilities that we toured.

My mother in law didn't participate in the activities, she basically was a recluse by her own choice. The quality of care...my only concern was that the staff were not always on the same page. My MIL needed more than the average care for an Assisted Living facility, so it might have been more appropriate to have put her in a Skilled Nursing facility....but she adamantly refused to go to one. I don't think she ever adapted to being there. Her health declined rapidly and we lost her after she was in there for 3 1/2 months. But we don't blame the facility. They were very supportive and accommodating when hospice had to be called in. And extremely helpful during her hospice care. It's a great facility overall. Had her health and mobility been better, she might have thrived there. Would I choose this facility if it were me? Absolutely, I would.

The Lodge is a beautiful facility. It is warm and welcoming. They, like many places, are struggling with staff shortages. This often leads to delay in housekeeping and or maintenance. The biggest drawback that I have seen is a delay in responding to the paging by residents in case of their needs. This, too has been a side effect of the shortage of staff. The food, for the most part is very good, staff is in the process of learning, new culinary techniques and being educated on more nutritional and more flavorful food options. For residents who are able to walk, there are various activities and organized outings. Unfortunately, my mother is not able to take advantage of these options. Overall, it seems to be a good value for money. And the staff at The Lodge appear to honestly care for the health and wellbeing of the residents.

They have been very patient with my mom and her transition from independent living to assisted living, which is never an easy thing. Facilities are some of the best I have ever seen as is the overall value.

The staff at WellQuest is friendly and available. There are activities every day if you want to participate. The cleanliness and dining experience is very good. It is a more expensive facility, and you will need to prepare for yearly increases.

Based off of what I have heard things are going well. The location of the facility is great. Staff seem to be receptive to conversation as well. I would recommend Sterling Place to others looking for independent living.

We really like the intake administrator [name removed] she was very attentive to our family and she was very professional. While we were going through the process she was very clean about what services they offered and what to expect, We would recommend Pasadena Highlands to other family's because it provides a safe place for our loved one rather the alternative - which is being at home. However we were told there was going to be a walking club for the residents to walk around the neighborhood and at times it seems like the discourage residents from walking around so for that we would not recommend.

The WellQuest of Menifee Lake is an elegant top of the line community, everything is very well done, and it looks new. Now it is very expensive so if you are able to afford the community we would recommend this community to other families. So far we have heard no issues with the meals and there are plenty of activities going on almost every day.

We really like all the different activities they have for the residents there and from what we have seen of the meals they look really nice. We really do like the place, it has a very homey like feel to it, so its nice there .

This facility is pretty good overall. It's new, so the appearance is bright and shiny. At times, the staff doesn't follow through with what is promised. Housekeeping is once a week and not always the most thorough. They do have an activities schedule and seem to offer a good variety. The food is good, both quality and variety. If you don't like the main offering, they offer additional choices and those are always available. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

So far it all seems positive since my loved one moved in. I feel he is still adjusting after living at his house for over 50 yrs. But I feel it was the best decision for us. From the first day I visited Carmel Village, I was greeted with friendliness. The residents seemed happy, and the feeling I got was warmth... My intuition felt right, and so far I've been pleased.

The facility is definitely the most modern of those I've seen. My only issue is that all services are a la cart and very pricey. But - lots of activities, very clean and very friendly.

We've had a great experience with Carmel Village. I would definitely suggest looking into it for a loved one. I like the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is very friendly and patient, which I've found very helpful. They work with you, which has been really nice. Especially in memory care, everybody is really good with helping my loved one. I feel very fortunate to have her there.

What sticks out most about Carmel Village is the very friendly staff. The facility itself is clean and bright. They have beautiful outdoor space. There are many activities and the activity coordinator is open to feedback you might have. I would absolutely recommend Carmel Village to others looking.

My loved one is content. They are happy with their apartment and the field trips. It's clean, the staff is friendly, the meals are fine, activities are well organized and fun. Good value!

So far so good, everything is going well. We're happy that A Place for Mom helped us find Renaissance Village Murrieta.

The memory care staff truly cares about their residents. The front desk staff is amazingly friendly and helpful as well.

Overall it has been a good experience for our loved one and family. There are three meals a day served to the residents. There is a set menu for the residents to order from with a rotating hot dish for the residents to choose from as well.
