Nice, homey atmosphere. Very clean. Staff was friendly and residents seemed happy.

Definitely on the list. Pros. Mo. price, and weekly Friday Mass. Cons-Next to NWMC took 40 minutes to arrive.

Director was an excellent tour guide and we were very impressed with this facility. We didn't have lunch so cannot comment on the food but the restaurant was very nice in appearance. This is our 2nd choice so far in our search but we need to check on whether it is better to stay in PA or to move to DE.

Friendly staff. Had the opportunity to see an activity in session. Many choices of room types.

Very active residence with lots to do. Pretty much what I was looking for in that meals, maid service, transportation and other day to day needs provided with rent.

Price includes 3 meals, the clean your apartment take out your trash and laundry. all activities are free unless you go to the movies or out to a restaurant.

This was a nice facility. We did a virtual tour so it was kind of hard to get a feel for everything but it was nice.

The people I met at this community were nice. They say they are able to accommodate different dietary needs and they seem to offer some nice activities. The community looked clean.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and things have so far everything is going okay for her. I am comfortable with the care the staff are providing to her but I do think that the administration could use some more organization in there paper work. My mom has mentioned that the food is a little bland and could use better quality. Overall the adjustment has been a little difficult and I think they could use some improvements.

This community is a little pricer than the community we chose and it is not as nice. The people are nice, however this community is more like a nursing home and we were looking for independent living.

The Alzheimer's patients are in the same wing as the assisted living....makes for activities that are not stimulating enough for someone who still has her mind. Even though I wrote extensive instructions on what was needed and what was not, I still had to run interference on several occasions. Food is good, and after all the caregivers were finally on board with what was needed and what was not, she is doing pretty good there.

Some of the caregivers are fabulous and some are downright unpleasant, they’re not warm. For example, they set the food down and then just walk way. They could do a better job getting people to eat. It would be a better value without the caregivers who really don’t seem interested. When I went and looked at the place, everything looked cheery and rosy. Some of the teams of caregivers are better than other.

Activities at Watersound Fountains are far beyond the normal in-house card games and trips to grocery stores. The area has parks, beaches, great restaurants, weekly markets, a theater that has professional performances and other great activities that the residents are transported to when the bus works. The single apartments are very adequate though start at [Amount removed]/month. Three bedrooms are over [Amount removed] Electricity and water are included in the monthly rental. However, food is not. The in-house restaurant is quite nice on Friday night but only average most days. A hamburger with fries is [Amount removed] There is a[Amount Removed] credit that can be used for haircuts, manicures and meals but most residents often underspend it. The underspend is not carried into the next month. I feel that a rating of 3 out of 5 is reasonable for the following reasons. Watersound Fountains was built approximately three years ago. I believe due to poor management by the Watermark Corporation the facility is rapidly deteriorating. In particular appliances are being savaged from unoccupied apartments to replace those in occupied apartments. There is a maintenance staff but they don't have the repair parts needed in many cases. I also want to point out unresolved business, apartment maintenance and transportation concerns.

Would have been helpful to have had a guide who knew their way around and didnt get lost. Also to have known shortage of space available. Interested in 1 bedroom with den that was not available.
