Our mother has been with Commonwealth Senior Living for almost a year and we are very pleased with the care she receives every day. The staff if caring, the rooms are clean, the days are structured with activities to keep the residents engaged and I can log in anytime to see what she's been up to day or night.

I would recommend it. Some of that's the location - it's very convenient to where I live. It's an older facility, but it's well maintained. They seem to be well organized. It is assisted living, and not a nursing facility, so understand that going in. They have hospice located there if it gets to that point, which is a nice feature. They have amenities that cost extra, like a nurse to administer medication if you need it. They have haircuts in the beauty salon available, and the food is great. My loved ones go on and on about the food. It's not a big place, so there's a not a lot of people. With the staff they have, they do a great job. I have no complaints. If it was a newer place, great, with more staff, great But that would be any place you go. I've been very pleased with it. I have one loved one in assisted living, and another in memory care, and they're both doing as well as can be expected. The activities are more arts and crafts, which I don't know what other options they would have. They have bingo, and upcoming holiday celebrations for Cinco de May and Mother's Day. I wish my mother especially would get more involved in the activities, but she's not an artsy person. And again, I wouldn't know what else to recommend though. But my loved ones have been doing well there. Oakwood's communication is really good too. So many problems are averted because either they will let me know of an issue, or I call them and they jump right on it. They've been really good at that, which has been wonderful for me. They've always treated me like I'm the only one who goes there, and I've been really happy having my family members there.

communication between the management staff and our family was good but they only staff the front desk until 5 pm. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this community to others based on our experence

At first when our loved one moved in there was an incident with the billing team member, the break down of fees. Overall, I believe they have handled the COVID situation great and helped protect the residents.

We chose Commonwealth because it was the best facility out of the ones that we looked at. They have been petty good with communication with everything that has been going on. I would just tell others to not move your loved ones if you can during covid because you cannot see them as often as you would like. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

If your loved one needs assistance or medical care other than the basics this would not be the place for you. If you are capable then this may be the place for you.

It was good, other than the pandemic. The staff was fine to work with.

I highly recommend the community. They have worked with me during the pandemic and any changes that have happened during my loved one's stay. They are very friendly oriented. They reminded me of how I did business years ago. This made me feel good about my loved being there. My loved one feels like she is family there. The staff is very good about the care of my mother. They contact me and let me know of anything that my loved one needs.

Good Zoom tour. Facility looks very well maintained from what I could see in the Zoom video. Hallways and common areas were very bright and colorful. A lot of wood accents. The dining room was large and had numerous windows along two sides. Nice lighting. They had a vaccination clinic occurring when the tour was happening. Resident rooms were very nice. The suites are very large and the one bedrooms are decent size. All rooms have a small refrigerator and a microwave in a small kitchenette area. Furniture is provided, but residents can bring in their own or an extra piece. The facility also has a reasonable size covered porch and separate small outside sitting area. Pricing is somewhat high with laundry, phone and cable being extra. Overall a very nice looking facility.

They were very friendly. There were staffing issues due to the pandemic.

We have had a good experience so far with Commonwealth Senior Living. We chose this facility because it is closest to home and the pricing was right. We did an extensive search and it helped to go out and take tours and talk with the staff. We just got a good feel when we walked in. We were surprised with the room size, it is bigger than we ever thought it would be. I love the director that is here, she is absolutely wonderful. Anyone I ever run into seems friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.

Their medical treatment is great and the staff members are great, they really care about their residents. The communication has not been good, I have been trying to call since last Wednesday and I have not been able to reach anyone. Overall, I would recommend the facility.

This community is a good, safe place to take a loved one. They seem to really care about the residents. I felt safe with my loved there. The food was really good. They provided coloring, crafts, and other items available for residents.

We chose Commonwealth Senior Living at Oak Ridge because it was closer to her friends and her doctors offices. The room sizes here are smaller compared to some we looked at. The best part about the community so far would be the care that she is receiving, they get her to the hospital quick when she needs to go. I would recommend.

1-9 ratio in memory care - looked clean - looked and sounded like they really observe and get to know the residents and work with what they need using techniques learned from "Teepa Snow." Had a small courtyard - looked very plain but they work with patients who like to garden. Concerns = Doors are unlocked but can lock. Residents sometimes end up in each others rooms - can walk around at night as well

My loved one loves the activities. I had a family member that wanted to come at a certain time, and my loved one wanted to move the time so they could play bingo. I don't have any complaints with Magnolias of Gaffney. My loved one was happy at this community. They would say they were thankful to be at this community.

The last two weeks my mother was here there was a stomach bug going around, they had to isolate the residents and limit access from visitors which was beyond their control. The care she got here was good and it was a very clean environment and there was no odor when you walk in. The room was accommodating. The staff members were available for if anyone needed help. I do wish that someone had been able to encourage her to eat more, but overall I would recommend Commonwealth Memory Care. We did have a good experience.

I would tell my friends that I highly recommend it. If a friend had a parent that needed the same assistance as my loved one, it would be a good placed to recommend. I choose Cardinal Village when on the tour I would see everyone that was there they make it a community environment. When I went to tour they had a plaque with my name on it to welcome me. The warmth was immediate and friendly. This made me feel welcomed with the visits to my loved one and allowed me to feel the warmth of the residents and other community members.

This community at first was named Greenfield, and the people who worked while it was Greenfield were amazing, and the meals that were provided were really good. Greenfield was bought by another company which is why it is now called Commonwealth. The food now made at Commonwealth is not as good as it was before. We thought this community was pretty reasonably priced. Everyone who worked in the care services were always so kind. This community has two floors, each floor having their own dining room. The therapy is done in the basement which is just an elevator ride away. Each floor had their own parlor. Our loved one had a private room that had a bed, TV, their own bathroom, a double closet, and a kitchenette.
