My Mother-In-Law has dementia and was in need of a safe, caring, secure assisted living environment. We are so happy we found Heritage Hill. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and all around great! My MIL has a routine; loves the activities; and has even gained a little weight from the fantastic meals. If we ever have a question or concern, the staff immediately addresses it and has answers and/or solutions. You absolutely cannot go wrong entrusting this facility to the loving care of your family member.

Heritage Hill consistently provides a comprehensive approach to assisted living. The professional and courteous staff provide first class service and care. This facility strives to meet the needs of its residents by providing a true community living experience. The resident rooms/quarters are nicely appointed and along with common areas are kept neat and clean. Meals and dietary needs are tailored to meet resident requirements and are of the highest quality and properly prepared. Activities/programs are well planned and executed to provide opportunities for its residents to participate and interact if they choose to and contribute to their emotional and behavioral wellbeing. Religious services are available and varied as well on a regular basis for those who wish to attend. The Nursing staff is professional and attentive to the needs of its residents providing quality care and regularly communicate with the resident's family doctor/specialist as needed.

An amazing place to live. The facility is very clean and maintained. The staff is wonderful and caring. From the first tour, my mother-in-law said she would like to live there. She already knew she would like it there. So many activities for her to do during the day to keep her busy. The staff treat her like she is part of their family. We are very happy with the care she receives. I would highly recommend Heritage Hill.

Home sweet home, My name is [name removed] and I would like to share my experience strength and hope with you about making a decision with my family members to decide on what measures we would take for my mom , My sister-in-law searched and found a wonderful place called the Heritage hill senior community. My mom has been there since May 7 , I have to say that she’s come a long way in the last couple of months she is very happy. She loves the staff they treat her with kindness and love, they’re always there to help, she feels that there’ is so much to do , they have lots of activities and she gets involved in everything. My mom absolutely loves it ,she has friends today, people that she can talk to and spend time with. My mom used to be in a cleaning business when she was younger so it’s very important to her to be in a clean place and she told me the other day that she is so happy that the place is very clean, actually she use the word spotless and That’s very important to her.

I would like to say Heritage Hills has been nothing but a wonderful and caring facility. They have been very accommonadating and always willing to answer any questions we have about my mother. They have many different activities and services for all there clients. We have been totally satisified with my moms care. The staff is very knowledgeable,caring and trustworthy.

Cardinal Village has been a wonderful experience so far, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The dining staff in general is wonderful and our loved one enjoys about 75% of the meals but if there is a meal there she does not like their is another menu they can fall back on. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Staff is very good. Front desk personnel, med techs, aides, admin. Everyone is helpful, respectful.

Excellent customer service and attention to my mom.

My mom has been a resident for almost three years. She started on the first floor, moved to the second for added coverage and then moved to memory care during Covid. She is happy and well cared for.

Don't hesitate to place a loved one here. Your loved one will be well cared for. It has been a very good experience with the community for my loved one and family. The staff encourage the residents to participate in the activities. The staff communication with the family is very good. They do a great job at following up with answering our questions. They even know us by name when we visit our loved one.

Everyone is very friendly, polite, and wonderful. I would recommend for anyone in need. Excellent facility.

We really weren't there long enough to give you great feedback. The food during the 3 days my loved one was there was fabulous!!!!! Unfortunately my loved one was needing a good deal of help as a result of their stroke. We were hoping for a little more assistance in the first few weeks and that was not the case in the 3 days. Not that care services weren't adequate under normal circumstances but we were promised more during initial days. The only negative was the procedure for getting help - you had to call the desk and ask. In our case my loved one wasn't communicating well and couldn't dial the phone so they had to wait for someone to just happen in.

Before my mom moved in at Heritage Hill, I was very familiar with it. I knew people from church who lived here and I used to visit often. I have gone to several care facilities in the area and have always liked this one the best. It feels like a hotel as soon as you walk in and see the lobby. You can smell the meals cooking; it doesn't smell like a "typical" nursing home. The staff and the people there are all really friendly and nice. I've been going to this community for years to visit other people, and they were always a top choice before I even knew they were affiliated with A Place for Mom. I originally didn't think I would be able to afford it, but I can and it all worked out for us!

The staff are very friendly, and they listen. They accommodate my parents' needs. And we're also very satisfied with the facility itself - no complaints there.

The everyday staff have been kind, attentive, and caring. [name removed] is excellent and very accessible and her attitude is so positive and enthusiastic. This sets the bar high for the rest of the staff to be care forward towards the residents. [name removed] has always been accessible to answer my questions. The staff make sure to participate with the residents and they are well trained. The nursing staff are well trained, and have always been attentive towards the residents and families. They were very helpful during the transition of prescriptions being sent from the doctor office to the community. The maintenance staff keeps the community very clean. Singing, arts and crafts, field trips, cocktail hour, and more are some of the activities for the residents to participate in. There are family days which is very nice as well.

Our experience at the Retreat of Easley has been great so far. My Dad has been there for 5 months.

I am thrilled with my decision of choosing Commonwealth Memory Care at Chesapeake. It's the perfect place, absolutely wonderful. They were very welcoming, professional, caring, and kind. They really take care of their residents and they seem to enjoy their jobs taking care of the people there. I couldn't be happier.

We have been impressed with staff when speaking to them about my loved one. They are very knowledgeable. My family that has visited my loved one has also been impressed with the staff and community. They are able to accommodate the family and our loved one's requests. All the meals, activities, care, the apartment, utilities, housekeeping, and laundry are included in the monthly fee.

We were so happy with Keepsake Village that we cancelled all of our other tours and I am glad we did because everything is working out great. [name removed] the director was born to do this job, she is absolutely wonderful. She really takes a personal approach to everything and knows everyone by name. It is expensive, but she is being well taken care of so it is worth it. I would highly recommend Keepsake Village to other families.

My father-in-law was the one looking at a bunch of different facilities and he was much more impressed with Oak Pointe of Kearney than he was with any of the others that he saw. It has been a good experience and we would highly recommend the facility to others.
