Realizing that she could no longer live alone and not wanting to move in with her children, Mom moved to Chandler Park Assisted Living in 2017 at the age of 87. She picked out the apartment and selected the furniture she wanted with her. She knew a few residents already, but after a short while she knew everyone there. With only 64 residents it was easy to develop friendships. She immediately began going to activities, including morning devotion, chair exercise class, arts and crafts, weekly manicures and weekly scenic rides. Chandler is an all-inclusive. One price covers rent, meals, activities and assistance as needed. As she has gotten older, she has needed more assistance with taking medications, eye drops, bathing, reminders, etc. These services are provided as needed with no additional cost. The director and staff members are friendly, caring and professional. We could not ask for a more dedicated staff to care for Mom's daily needs.

It was comforting to me that everything was on one level. I think that they need more events (social activities) for the residents. Prescriptions can be delivered each week in bubble packs from local pharmacy. I would recommend Chandler Park Assisted Living to others looking.

I would give Forest Commons a 5 in all categories. I am very particular, and my tour went very well and all questions I had were answered. From there forward, they made everything easy and my Mother is very happy there. They have fun activities such as Bingo, Movie night in the home theater (including popcorn) people that come in and play music and sing. Fun field trips are also made. A doctor comes once a week and a nurse is present 24/7. Transportation is also provided for personal doctor appointments. Medications can be given by a nurse if needed. This facility is extremely clean. Your laundry is done for you, once a week . Linens are changed and your room is cleaned over per week. Physical Therapy is also-present in the facility if needed. They also have a nice library, arts and crafts and puzzles. My thought was when I began this journey, I would not place my mother-in-law in a place I would not live in myself.

My Mother was a resident at CMC for 14 months and it was a very good experience for her, and our family. The director and staff have never-ending patience, compassion and respect. The building is clean and beautiful. Meals are always fresh and served hot. The resident's needs are top priority each day. Our family is so thankful for this facility and the sweet friends we have made there. I highly recommend!

Everyone is friendly, and the amount of people that remember my Dad's name is amazing. He hasn't been here long and the staff know him and call him by his name.

They were very good with my mother in the short time that she was there.

The care is really good. There is no complaints about the food. I am very happy with the value for the money. We picked this community, because l felt good about the place and the people were friendly.

We're happy with this community, they're really sweet here. It's a small facility and everyone knows mom by name. They kind of look out for her. Housekeeping is frequent, laundry weekly, trash daily and they all do a good job. When they're finished cleaning it looks immaculate. The staff is really nice. The director and concierge at the front desk are both wonderful and helpful. They really are proactive here and try to stay on top of things. I feel like mom is safe and well looked after. Mom enjoys playing the piano and they have one in the common area, but didn't have a bench for it. She mentioned it to one of the staff, they actually ordered one so she could play! She loves to sit and play and they all enjoy it! Communication with the family is pretty good. She doesn't always like the food, but overall it's pretty good too. I would recommend them to friends and family.

My mother has been a resident of Trinity Oaks for 8 years. At that time she lived in the independent section. She has now transitioned into assisted living. I am so grateful for the care she receives at this facility. The Trinity Oak staff is wonderful. They are caring and attentive to each of the residents. They are always readily available to help me with any concerns I may have as my mother ages. I highly recommend Trinity Oaks Senior living.

Other than some of the staffing shortages they are having, they have been just great. I would recommend Forest Hills Commons to others looking.

Our first impression of Maristone of Providence is that it is a smaller and family orientated community. The activities and overall value for the money is great and we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience so far.

It was time that we made a decision to put my mom in assisted living but was so scared to do so , especially with her memory loss. After doing some research and a lot of homework, I am so happy we made the right choice with her living at Trinity Oaks.. She is happy, loves the staff and always things to keep her busy. Thank you trinity oaks for taking good care of my mom.

The staff is always helpful taking time to answer our questions and very supportive of our relative.

They are struggling with night shift staff but otherwise they are good. The people staff and residents are all very caring people. You feel like you are part of the family and is a great home. Maristone of Franklin has been truly wonderful all around and couldn't be happier with our families choice for our loved one.

This facility is great! I have zero complaints. Mom is completely taken care of and very happy here. I absolutely have no concerns when it comes to her care at this facility. They seem to have activities every hour and the atmosphere is great. I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so!

Mom lived in the Independent part of Trinity Shores for Several years till Covid hit. Then she moved in with my sister in San Antonio for approximately 6 to 9 months, till we could go back into the facility. At that point she was not able to live Independently any longer so we moved her to the Lighthouse Unit. There she had more one on one care. She passed away peacefully on [date removed], 2022 and she was able to stay there with Hospice of South Texas assistance. Our family is grateful for Port Lavaca offering this type of community for our elderly. We thank Trinity's staff for loving mom like we did.

My loved one has been a resident of Trinity Shores in Port Lavaca, TX for approximately 6 years and, in that time, the facility, staff, and it's residents and their families have endured Hurricane Harvey and the pandemic. The facility did suffer quite a bit if damage from Harvey but repairs were made and most residents chose to return which speaks to the care they have received. Trinity Shores offers a the residents a diverse choice of activities to choose from and schedule frequent outings. While outings were stopped during the pandemic they havd been resumed. The quality of care they received during the pandemic was nothing less than wonderful. The restrictions enacted, for the most part, kept them safe as they had almost no residents test positive for covid. They recently enacted a needed major upgrade which they handled very professionally. This includes the facility staff and the people hired to do the work. My loved one feels safe there.

We liked Trinity Oaks the second we pulled up, it has a very welcoming feeling to it. One thing we really like that is different than other places is that they have assigned seating in the dining room. My brother has found that very pleasant because the residents really get to know each other and they do not have to worry about where to sit. That takes so much pressure off of him and he is really enjoying the other gentleman that he is seated with. Almost everyone who is here he grew up close to so that has been really nice. It is a perfect fit for him and it gives us peace of mind having him here knowing that he is safe. The staff are so friendly and the facility is smaller and more home like. The whole thing worked out perfectly for us and we would highly recommend Trinity Oaks for others looking. Our brother is happy and we could not be more ecstatic. I was so pleased with [name removed] at a place for mom and I really appreciate the information she gave us and all the help.

I went in to tour for my parents. Trinity Shores is very clean, residents seem to be happy, and the staff is very friendly.

I've encouraged friends and family to check this place out before they go anywhere else. The most positive thing I've experience is the staff interaction; they are friendly and very helpful. I'm not there as much as my brother who lives in town, but we have had no complaints at all. My brother who's a resident has plenty of space in his apartment, it also has a microwave and a small refrigerator. The food looks pretty good, and from what I've seen everyone gets the same meal. The residents are very friendly, they like to see visitors and people coming in. I've been there once while they had entertainment, and everyone there was friendly and happy. I also have another sibling that has moved in, so we are spreading the word!
