Ultimate Care Senior Living Management

We toured the property for my mother. Well kept with nice amenities and a pretty steep price tag. Close to the mall and other shopping. It's on our short list.

The Bristal seems like a very nice place, overall. The sales person we worked with, Mary, was knowledgeable and very helpful. Everyone is very friendly, and the community seems very close-knit. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff do a good job looking out for the residents.

I like the rooms here because I feel like they are very spacious and nice. They are always being cleaned and freshened up. Wonderful staff. Thank you

The Bristal Assisted Living has been a good experience. She needs a lot of physical therapy and speech therapy. There could always be more done with that regard. Other than that things seem to be going well at this facility. We are pleased so far.

This facility is lovely and well maintained. The staff is very caring and kind. They have plenty of activities and the residents seem very involved in them. The food is pretty decent.

My father calls it "my fancy hotel". He absolutely loves it there! If there is any negative at all, it is that it is not a medical facility so they have to rush him to a hospital for medical care and he has had to be rushed there six times in the last couple weeks, and a few of those turned out not to be necessary. They really are a wonderful group of people and are very attentive to him. They are really lovely caring people. They know their clientele very well. They know my father by name and always greet him kindly and warmly.

Overall The Bristal seemed like a nice enough place, although I do think there were a few ways our experience could have been improved. In terms of the aide staff and the facility itself they do a very nice job. The people are friendly and the facility is clean and well kept. However, I think the communication with families could have been better, and we had some difficulty coordinating my loved ones medical care.

I'm not thrilled with the activities, there's not enough for my mother with Alzheimer's and she cannot participate in activities like cards or bingo. My mother really loves physical activities, and I'd like to see more activities with music and dancing. But the care is great, she always gets her medicine, her room always looks clean, and her laundry is always immaculate. Sometimes parking can be difficult, there's not a lot, so you often have to park on the street, but it's not too big a hassle. Overall I'm pretty happy with the facility, they have a beautiful porch area outside, like a backyard patio, my mom likes walking out there a lot, it's nice area to walk and it's gated in so residents can't get out, I liked that a lot. She also gets lot of choices for dinner and lunch and she gets help with the choices, it's a nice variety.

My sister is living at The Bristal Assisted Living at Lake Grove . Overall she is doing good. She complains some, but I don't think that is their fault. The people there are really helpful and it is a nice facility.

Very nice. Great walk-in closet in the apartment we looked at. Did not liked "assigned seating at dinner" are we in prison? No transportation to Dr. appointments. High cost. Menu fair

My loved one lived at The Bristal Assisted Living at North Hills for a short period of time. Overall, It was a pretty good experience. Everyone was friendly and nice.

Overall things have gone well at The Bristal. The facility itself is wonderful, and everything is always well kept and clean with no noticeable odors. The staff here is great, everyone has been very friendly and professional. My only complaint is that they increased my loved ones care level shortly after moving in, which came as somewhat of a surprise. The facility is also on the expensive side.

My mom has lived at the Bristal in White Plains for almost 2 months now. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The building is cheerful and spotless. My Mom's room is perfect for her. The bathroom set up is much safer than we had for her at home. She has been participating in bingo and the knitting club. Hopefully now that the weather is getting better she will venture out. There has been an issue in the dinning room. She feels it takes too long to order and be served and often the wrong meal is served. I was also concerned that the staff was not familiar with at home INR testing for her Coumadin. We did work it out quickly though. I am very happy with the Bristal and would recommend it.

It is a nice looking, clean community, and the staff all seemed friendly. They went out of their way to try and make her feel welcome when she moved in. They also appeared to have a busy activity schedule, it looked like there was a lot going on!

We've had a good experience with The Bristal at Sayville overall. It's a beautiful brand new building, and they do a great job keeping everything clean and nice looking. The staff are very personable and very attentive, and do a great job taking care of the residents. They also provide a good variety of activities to keep everyone engaged and entertained!

Everything they provide here has been excellent in terms of the level of care, the service, and the facility itself. It's clean and well kept, the staff are very friendly, and everyone seems well taken care of. However, I've been having some issues with their billing department. I received a much larger than expected bill, and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone who has been able to explain it to me.

Things have gone well so far with The Bristal at East Meadow! It's a nice looking, clean place, and the staff have all been incredibly friendly and professional. They really make an effort to get to know each of their residents as individuals to learn how to make them comfortable.

Things have worked out well so far with The Bristal at Lynbrook. My loved one is someone who likes to complain, but I can tell she is settling in and doing alright here. They've got her on a good routine, and she is someone who does well on a routine. She's had good things to say about the food, and they offer a few services that I really like, such as free cabs on certain days of the week for shopping trips. The only complaint I have is that they can be less than forthcoming when it comes to the specifics of care, it can be a little hard to get information out of them.
