What a wonderful experience to have my mother come here and not have to worry about one single thing. Her cleaning, laundry, etc. is all done for her, she receives 3 terrific meals per day, the wellness center is right there on premises, and the staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. Thanks to a ll of you... especially Susan [Removed] and Colleen, both of whom were extremely helpful in setting all this up.

A Place for Mom is an outstanding free service. This past month, I had to decide where to move my 91 year old mom from rehabilitation. I saw the ad for A Place for Mom on TV and made the call that was the best call I have ever made! Tammy Singer answered all my questions, and then kept in touch daily to help me sort through so many decisions. With Tammy's help my mom is now living at The Bristal at Westbury. It is such a beautiful and accommodating place for my mom. I do not know how I would have managed without Tammy's knowledge and guidance.

My experience with The Bristal at WhitePlains is good. It is beautiful. The staff is nice and the facility is gorgeous.

My mom just loves being at The Bristal, Sayville. She loves the people, the environment, the activities and the friends she is making.

My parents moved to The Bristal at Lynbrook this June. They were living in a different community but had to move when my father's dietary needs changed after a hospital stay. He needed to thicken all liquids and was not able to return to the assisted living they were at due to a facility policy. A place for mom guided me to the Bristal at lynbrook. The staff there was helpful, professional and caring. Mary and I were in contact frequently as we confirmed that his dietary needs could be met there. Adjustment is not easy at 93, but they are both settling in and feeling comfortable. Their apartment is lovely. Everyone seems friendly and helpful. Having my parents at the Bristal at Lynbrook has given me peace of mind.

So far our experience with The Bristal at Armonk has been a good one. It is a very nice facility, and the staff have all been friendly and professional. They did an excellent job making my loved one's transition to the facility a smooth one. The residents appear to get a lot of individual attention from the staff, and they've been very responsive and attentive to her needs.

Some of things promised such as escort service for first few days was spotty. Food varied and plentiful but bland

They are very, very good. We are in the reflections unit and everything is covered in the price here. In the wellness side of things, all the needs are extra. The staff helped make a rough transition easier. They are helping them get settled and us as well. They are very active, and have a lot of things scheduled. The staff from the aides to the recreation people all of them have been invaluable to us, and are worth their weight in gold. They also give us a full calendar and we know what's going on. The food seems to be good, and they have lovely desserts, and they seem to be eating well. I like the location as well, we can visit anytime, and they never make me feel like I am imposing. They have really help our family with this as well.

My dad has been at the Bristol for a little over a week. He had intended on moving in with my mom, but she passed away before that dream became a reality. The staff at the Bristol is incredible, from the executive director to the house keeping staff. They are friendly, compassionate and display an amazing amount of patience. They have all seen my dad's magic tricks at least a dozen times, but display delight and surprise, each time, like it is their first. The building and grounds are beautiful and beautifully maintained. My dad spends at least an hour a day at the gym and is looking foward to the completion of the putting green and the opening of the pool. The place is a bit too quiet for his taste, but he says new people are moving in daily. Our only complaint is that the food is too good and too plentiful. He told me today he would like to take off 5 lbs. I would recommend the Bristol to any family looking for an amazing place for their loved one. It is still difficult for me to say goodbye to him when I leave every day, but I think it is harder for me than for him. It's the same way I felt when I left my children in college. I know my dad has found a new home and it really is sweet. I hope this review is helpful.

Very inviting atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff. Clean, safe and active. Las Vegas hotel atmosphere. Had no hesitation placing a loved one here. Professional well staffed and trained

They do a great job here overall! The facility itself is nice looking, and always very clean. The care staff are friendly and professional, and very good at engaging the residents. They also provide excellent care for the residents, they have a primary care doctor that visits once a week and an attentive and knowledgeable nursing staff.

My mother is very happy, she has put weight on and, she is making friends. The community is immaculate. The staff is very friendly, even when I go and it's happy hour, the aides are just nice to everybody, walking around and saying hi, checking on people, and not just the residents. It's nice to just have a small kitchenette which encourages her to go to meals, which she says are very good. I don't have to worry about her when I am on the road. The activities are pretty good, there is enough different things going on that people don't get bored. She doesn't like to miss bingo even one day. It's been just great.

It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for. I think that they make you aware of the needs of your loved one. It’s very convenient parking. I’ve been overall, very happy with the food. My aunt tried the food and she liked. I think it’s a very good community. I’m very impressed.

They were friendly and the food was fine. We liked them very much and I gave them fives across the board, but we went with a community that was more conveniently located for our family. We liked them when we toured though.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for my loved one. This place actually would have been our first choice, but unfortunately they did not have any opening during the time of our search. It's a lovely facility, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. We actually ended up selecting another Bristal community, albeit one a bit less conveniently located.

So far I'm very happy with the level of care here, I'd give them 5s across the board. The staff are amazing! The director in particular is phenomenal, she's really on top of everything. She immediately knows who I am when I call and can tell me what my Mom is up to and how she is doing. It's great to see that all of the staff really get to know each of the residents. The facility itself is very nice looking, and they always keep it very clean.

My mother has been in the facility for just over one week - and the Reflections unit has been open only for a few weeks. So far, everything has been really great, from the food, to the care-givers, to the room, and overall ambience. I am very happy.

It was a great experience. Everyone loves it.

My parents have been living in the Reflections Unit at the Bristal, North Hills since June 2013. Their quality of life is much better than it was for a long time. They get a lot of attention, have lots of activities to keep them alert & active, have special parties & delicious, nourishing meals three times a day plus snacks, go on outings & are well cared for. The staff is affectionate, dedicated and above friendly. They keep me informed on how they are doing and if they need anything. They have a beauty parlor & physical therapy room along with a lovely sitting room for company as well as a sunny activity room. All their needs are met-physically, mentally & emotionally. They are both very happy there and we are so glad we chose it for their new home. We have no regrets.
