Ultimate Care Senior Living Management

The overall experience was very good. I found them to be very helpful and they are looking out for the best interest of the residents. The one thing I would say to improve on is the contract, the wording gets a little tricky so they could be a little clearer on that. They are very helpful and always offering suggestions.

We moved our father in recently. He didn't want to move and it was with a lot of convincing he finally agreed but it was very hard for him. The staff at the Bristal immediately made him feel so comfortable, quickly introducing him to people. He had a handful of friends in the first week. It seems that most of the residents like to keep busy, like our dad. I couldn't imagine going through this experience without the help of the Bristal staff. The Director is hand on and very approachable. The wellness staff give him his medications and I've already seen a big difference in his overall health and strength. I often wonder how many times he did without something at home like a meal or his medicine. He's such a different person now. I love visiting him in the Bristal, the residents and staff are like a big family. I love seeing how happy he is in this time of his life when things seemed so bleak not too long ago.

The activities at Bristal Assisted Living are great, my dad was at different place before, but now it's like night and day, they always have stuff going on all the time for the residents. It's a beautiful place, and the people there are all so sweet and kind.

We love it. My father is thriving there. He's gained weight. He's socializing more. He's so happy. He's clean shaven. The place is spotless and it's kept clean. I haven't met one person I haven't liked. It's better value than Sunrise. Not saying Sunrise isn't nice but they were charging more. They nurture him. Honestly, it's amazing. they call me for every little thing. They called me to tell me he didn't have razors and they got him some. They keep me very updated. I would recommend.

The front-end part of the process showed very genuine concern, that they were really wanting to help us out and not just make a sale. They were always there to help out, answered all our questions, took us on multiple tours, and just showed endless patience. When some family members showed a little hesitancy, the entire staff chipped in to help out and they really went out of their way to make us all feel comfortable in our decision. It has been a very positive experience with The Bristal Assisted Living at Sayville and I would highly recommend them.

Everyone at The Bristal helped make my mom's transition to moving there as smooth as possible . She has made friends immediately , participates in many of the activities and is really enjoying her meals! She gets the support she needs to feel comfortable in her new home and is beginning to feel part of the community .

My loved one is doing very well here, we're very pleased with how things are going at The Bristal! The entire experience has been very pleasant. The staff are wonderful, the facility is well kept and clean, and they do a great job looking after the people who live here. Really my only complaint is that they have assigned seating in the dining room, which seems a little silly for adults, but I suppose they have their reasons.

Our experience with The Bristal was only a brief one, but overall I was impressed by the service they provided. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff we worked with were all very friendly. Although things did not work out in the long term I felt that their introductory process here was great, they put a lot of effort into making sure new residents and their families feel comfortable and well informed.

The Bristal is beautiful . Outgoing, friendly people that work there that truly care about the residents . Many activities, great meals. However, The care of the resident is not consistent . We are paying extra to make sure that mom is reminded and encouraged to get up, ( sometimes it happens ) wear different clothes everyday and make sure she properly showers at least 3 times a week. It's not happening consistently.

We visited this community while looking into care options for a loved one. We thought this was a very nice community, it was warm and clean and new. They offer activities and a happy atmosphere for the residents. The staff was responsive and the residents seemed engaged. We would recommend the community to others.

I thought the community was nice but it seemed a little institutional for me. It was clean and pretty and offered lots of activities. However I thought the shared rooms were a little small, and did not offer much privacy.

This place is brand new, only opened up in July 2014. We really liked the feel of The Bristal. It was clean, well maintained and the staff was very friendly. We will be taking our father there to see it before making a decision.

We toured this community, and overall were very impressed by what we saw here! The cognitive level of the residents seems high, and for the most part they seem able and social. The staff seem attentive and caring, and although they don't need to provide much hands on care they do keep a close eye on everyone.

We had a really good experience with The Bristal at Armonk. Everything went well and we had absolutely no problems at all.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This was a VERY nice looking community! However, I don't think it would have been a great fit for my loved one. Our loved one was in need of memory care, and while they do have a memory care wing here it was small and not really the focus of the community. For someone only in need of assisted living this place looked fantastic, however! It was like a big cruise ship, they had a very extensive activities list as well!

My mother is a resident in the Bristal in East Northport. She has been there for about a year now. We visited a dozen different places before deciding on the Bristal. The first time we walked in we knew this was the place. The overall appearances, amenities, and set up are second to none. The rooms are bigger and the facility is brand new. These things are immediately apparent, but the thing that appealed to us most were the people. She hasn't been happier in years. You must visit this place before making any decisions or your doing you loved ones a terrible disservice.

It's only been a month since my mother has been in there, so we are still getting acclimated and have somewhat limited experience to go on, but so far it has been a good experience. One of the main things that means a lot to me is that I know mom is safe, which gives us great peace of mind.

When my dad started needing more and more help, and his short term memory began to fail I knew he could no longer be left alone. He was insistent that he wanted to be in his own home so I hired 24 hour private help. He was home for eight months and the help we had took very good care of him, but when I evaluated how much I was spending to keep everything going and the work I was doing I realized I was working harder than anyone else. It would have been worth it if he was happy, but he told me he was a prisoner in his own house because I wouldn't let him drive and he was watching TV all day. I had already visited several assissted livings, all the big names and also some smaller independently owned places. The Bristol in East Northport was my favorite right from the start. Julie Wexler, Jasmine, and Steve were wonderful at reassuring me that Dad would fit right in. After a few visits I finally told dad he had to try it and he moved in the next week. He has been there about two months and I now have my pleasant happy father back. He loves the music,dancing, and trips. He is telling all his friends they should move in! Thanksgiving is here and I am most Thankful to all of you at The Bristol because you all helped my Dad get his smile back.

I can't say enough about the Bristal. My mother was one of the very first residents to move in. She is in the memory care portion, known as "reflections", for people with dementia. She absolutely loves it and is thriving. The person who met with me when it was under construction was very experienced and knowledgable, helped me in every way possible, even comforting me about the stress my family was under! I work in a similar facility that is much higher priced and I like the Bristal much better. It definitely won't be in every person's budget though. The staff is uniformly wonderful. They are compassionate, kind and talented, bringing art and music programs and joy. The facility is beautiful. But I know that my mother is in good hands. I trust these staff members implicitly. We are very happy.

What a wonderful experience to have my mother come here and not have to worry about one single thing. Her cleaning, laundry, etc. is all done for her, she receives 3 terrific meals per day, the wellness center is right there on premises, and the staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. Thanks to all of you... especially Susan [Removed] and Colleen, both of whom were extremely helpful in setting all this up.
