The gentleman I talked to on the tour at Vitalia was very nice. I appreciated that he wasn't pushy. It was an older facility though, and had not been updated.

They can improve the staff shortage situation,educate staff on importance of patient cleanliness, importance of caring interactions with patients, sharing info as needed with family members, and most importantly CARING about the patient. Be open to suggestions/concerns of family. Some staff members were wonderful and caring,it's just not enough of them.

My loved one is very comfortable, but doesn't always feel the most secure. It is a beautiful facility. The care is more important than aesthetics. There has been problems with dispensing medication, lag time on responding to residents when they push their button, they're unprepared when a resident checks back in after a hospital stay/step down facility, mediocre food and service, and issues with cancelling workout classes without notifying the residents.

We didn’t like Holiday The Cambridge because it included dining - they didn’t give the option to be independent with your food. I also didn’t think that cleanliness was up to snuff. I just wasn’t impressed.

The community felt like a large hotel, and was more expensive than we wanted to spend.

Many of the staff are friendly and caring, however the executive team is a challenge and communication is poor with slow response time.

The call buttons weren't working for my loved one. So my loved one would call me to call the community to get something accomplished such as bathing, dressing, etc. The building looks nice and the friendliness of the staff during the tour was excellent. Once my loved one moved into the community the staffing was limited and the residents were on quarantine due an illness in the community. There were no activities, socializations, or meals in the dining room. The quarantine lasted for two weeks. I feel the residents should have been checked on more often during quarantine instead of just meal and med times. This is what upset me the most. I feel that my loved one was checked on more during rehab at another community, than here at The Kentridge. The adult briefs that the family ordered for our loved one was moved to the storage locker of the community. These were never utilized by the community by my loved one, and we ended up getting these after my loved one passed. There was another family member that sent a card and the community never turned it back over to the family. The tour was wonderful and what we got was subpar.

My loved one had a short stay here. The care staff was great. My loved one fell during their stay, and my loved one was going to come back after rehab. The management wouldn't guarantee that my loved ones wouldn't fall again. Due to this stalling point by management, we ended up having to move my loved one out of the community. Management avoided getting the answers to the family on our questions regarding the ongoing care for my loved one for several weeks. My loved one loved their time here and wanted to go back.

I took a virtual tour of Princeton Senior Living; I saw it before it opened, so that was kind of rough. I'm not sure why, but the guy I was in contact with kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I did like it, but I wanted to move my mom in sooner and they just opened a couple months ago. I noticed that several residents from the community we chose moved over to Princeton as soon as it opened. I'm unsure if they were on a waiting list of some sort?

I toured Vitalia Rockside; the community was clean and the people who showed us around were very nice. It just didn't have that homey-feel we were looking for. We chose another community because it felt more personable and their costs fit more into our budget.

Would like to see community improvements as the building needs updated but overall I like it here and love the staff.

I think that they seem to be short staffed and so I feel that my loved one did not get the attention and care that he should have for the amount of money that we were paying.

The area of enjoyment is definitely with the activities program - that especially jumped out at us. We really appreciate that they come to get the residents and accompany them to the activities if they need that extra assistance. The area of improvement could be with their administrative team - even though they seem to get things done things could be more smooth because at times it is like they don't have their act together.

What turned me away from The Fremont was the fact that when you walk in it feels very institution-like and also there was a very unpleasant odor.

Prior to the Rock Creek purchase of Journey Senior Living I gave a great review. Today I gave 30 day notice to terminate. Communication is sub standard. Meals are questionable and rates go up every month. Rooms weren’t cleaned weekly over this past winter. If you want to see a calendar of activities, let me know—they don’t offer what they claim. Sorry my loved one deserves more. They did do a great job protecting from Covid.

I did not think that they were very well staffed and I did not think their sanitation practices were efficient. It was not a good experience for our family at Carriage Court.

I would tell others that the community isn't forthcoming with their charges. They charged more than we anticipated. The communication is sporadic. There are times I will leave voicemails and emails with no return call or email for a couple of days. There have been some staff that have left. They will automatically renew the lease unless notice is given. They won't give a price to us until after you have renewed the lease. It is a nice place, but they could use a little work.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the just didnt meet our needs
