Our loved one loved the staff members, and overall he seemed to like it there during his stay. When we did talk to the staff over the phone and they were very receptive. We do know they had happy hours, as well as entertainment.

The community is very nice. I would suggest others to check out the community for their loved ones. The food was cold on occasions. Due to COVID the food was being delivered to the residents rooms. My loved one struggled to bring the food to their table in their room. The staff only left the food by the door, due to COVID.

I would recommend this community to others. If you had financial restrictions, then this may not be the place for you. It is is expensive, but not more expensive than others in the area. The care is great. The staff has been proactive with the pandemic. Even though we aren't able to see our loved ones in person, they are doing virtual visits.

I would want others to know when looking into the facility that during my moms stay, she slept in soiled sheets. They did not wash her clothes or give her a bath. When she was checked out by my daughter for lunch, no one knew that she was gone. Her shower curtain was on the floor for days and no one came to pick it up and her garbage can was overflowing. They did not care for her the way they should have. I would not recommend to others looking.

The people that were there at the time were very valuable, and the rooms are very good, and wonderful. The value is outstanding, you get a lot for your money. The food overall is good, it would be about a three in a half out of five. We think Ridgeview Place is a wonderful place for a loved one.

We chose Ridgeview Place at the time because of the affordability and the care that they offered. My sisters room was great size. I have not eaten here, but she seems to be ok with the food served. Overall I would recommend.

Beautiful facility. Studio apartments were very wonderful and spacious, but do not know how much they cost or if there was a facility fee.

We moved my father into Mansfield Place just three weeks before the Covid 19 Pandemic Quarantine occurred. I was understandably concerned! My father hadn't quite gotten accustomed to the staff, surroundings OR the routine there. They really stepped up to the plate as far as making this a comfortable transition for both the residents and their family members. They have given extra care and it shows. By walking up to my fathers window to check in on him I have realized that he is safe, clean and healthy. This is quite a relief to me.

We love the warm, friendly atmosphere of the Mansfield Place. It's smaller size is such a plus for our family resident making it feel more intimate ... like home. We appreciate the staff's friendliness and care. They've done a terrific job in trying to provide stimulating activities especially during this Covid19 pandemic where visitors are no longer able to come and go for safety's sake.

[Name removed] and I met with [name removed] yesterday morning at Bickford of Overland Park. I liked the idea that it is small (48 assisted living apartments). We did not see a lot of residents at that time, but we did drop in on a game upstairs. Everyone seems to be at ease and having a good time. [Name removed] gave us an overview of the respite area of the community. The housing seemed to be clean, well equipped, comfortably furnished. I did think the room we saw was quite far from the nurse's station. The menu looked healthy and varied. WE did not get a meal, but [name removed] prepared a light snack of cheese, sausage, grapes, strawberries, and chocolate cupcakes. I thought we were to have a lunch, but that must have gotten lost in the communication. She did a good job of providing both oral and written information. I was told the daily fee for residents in the respite program is $125 per day, but I did not realize until this meeting that the cost varies according to the type of care. We will reserve decisions until we have had a chance to tour other facilities.

Bickford is a very pretty place. Lots of flowers in the front of the building and in the main lobby. When I first walked in I was impressed with how pretty it looked and clean it looked . Everyone had just eaten breakfast and were being moved into the main living room. The residents looked comfortable, clean and content. There were ladies who worked there that were with the residents in the living room sitting with them to help them if they needed it. I visited the memory care unit, but was told about the assisted and memory care options. The building is older and the rooms are older and ok. The tour went very well, the manager was extremely nice and helpful with providing information. She took a lot of notes and seemed genuinely interested in my mother. They make you feel very welcome and the people who work there stop and introduce themselves and their chef brought in some nice snacks and cold water. They emphasize individual plans for memory care patients to help them and making their residents comfortable and happy.

Transitioning to an unfamiliar place can be so difficult. The staff have been so attentive and helpful during this process. My parents comment on how friendly and kind the staff are to them. It’s important to us they are being well-treated, safe, and comfortable

Dad was there for three years on memory care. Memory care was pretty good but varies some on who's working and the staffing. Overall the place is clean but they could use more house keeping staff. Most staff are friendly and helpful especially the concierge there [name removed]. It's not bad for value compared to other places especially if you get into a companion rate /room. Care services are OK..again it varies. Heartland hospice helps too when applicable. Overall I would recommend it.

So many improvements have happened since new management. Beautiful decor and attention to detail, inside and out. The most pleasant, helpful, caring receptionist I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! [name removed] is the face of Cherryvale Place and does a fantastic job. Always looks and acts like a professional while making everyone feel like a friend. That smile is priceless! Caring nursing staff and aides. Walking path for residents is needed.

Staff is very friendly and caring. Value is good quality for the price. Activities could be more cognitive learning focused and socially engaging for the reluctant residents.

For the price I was surprised that the residence wasn't more visually appealing. It looked very instatutional. Dad would not be happy here.

I'm rating for my sister who needed special adaptations which were provided. She is able to do more than the family expected and we are grateful.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms and grounds were well maintained.

Nice but no continuing care, hospice or anything like that.
