Unfortunately our loved one had a hard time adjusting so their stay was not very long, but the friendliness of the staff members really stood out to us. They were very accommodating and when we were explaining to them why we were taking our loved one out they were very gracious. We felt comfortable having our loved one there during the covid environment, we did not see any leniency with the protocols, and we felt our loved one was very safe and secured.

This facility was really nice and so were the people. It is all assisted living, and my loved one did not need that yet so we went with a different facility. The rooms here were on the smaller side.

My parents have been welcomed into the Highlander Place by friendly staff and other residents. They have been well cared for and we appreciate the safe facility. They especially enjoy the delicious pies.

It is a little expensive we thought they would be reasonable but it is a little high we think. We have had a good experience so far, the meals and dining service is great they feed us well. My wife likes to participate in the activities and we do think the community is very well kept and clean.

Our loved one is having a hard time adjusting in the memory care, but this community is a very very lovely place. The care givers are lovely, and from what we have been able to see they treat our loved one very well.

Very nice place. People were friendly. Didn’t like the fact that you have to provide your own cable and Internet. That should be covered by the rent. The place we found also has a door in the apartment that led to the courtyard.

I liked the fact that the facility is smaller in size and how the rooms are all easy to get to. Residents were all around, at the entrance in the main area, in the activity room playing cards, in the movie room. It is a locked facility and they can keep people with memory problems as well. Everyone seemed happy.

It is was a really nice for the money for our loved one. It was very clean and nice. For the most part, most staff were very nice. The food on the other hand wasn't up to par by being served cold. Some of the food was hard to eat as well, so my loved one wouldn't eat and through the food away.

We have had a good experience with the place, and when we were able to move our loved one in the community was very clean. The staff members are very friendly and they are constantly calling us with updates. The care services are awesome, and amazing. Our loved one for Easter was out with other residents making an Easter blanket, and it is on of the cheapest communities in the area.

This place is very cute, homey, people seemed happy and the 1 bedrooms are very cute - not too overwhelming, just the right size. [name removed] is very kind.

The caregiver in the family needs to be interactive with the staff to get the best care for their loved one, this is no matter where your loved one is at. There was a caregiver who was a CNA and didn't like to give out her name or bad news to families. All the other nurses and administrative team were great. I wish my loved one didn't have to be in the community during the pandemic. I would like the staff to have more time for phone calls from the families. The staffing needs to be a little higher for the staff to residents ratio.

We chose Bickford of Overland Park at the time because of the staff members that we spoke to over the phone. They have been very good with communication with everything that has been going on. I think under the circumstances, they have been very good and they are doing an excellent job. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Cherryvale Place because they offered what we were looking for and the reoccurring costs did not go up with his needs for care. It was sort of like an all inclusive, if he needed more care the cost would not increase. You can really plan on exactly what you will be spending which is nice. The room sizes here were a good size, he had a studio. The staff members who I spoke with were also great, they were open with communication and very attentive to us. I would recommend them.

We chose Kingswood Place because of the convenient location and the pricing wasn't bad in the beginning. The room sizes here are on the smaller side compared to some others we looked into. Overall, it has been a good experience and they are accommodating. I would recommend them.

We chose River Run Place because I really liked the staff members when I met them and the atmosphere of the facility, it looked very nice. We did a virtual tour and then we were able to walk through before he moved in. The staff here seem to be more like a family working together. My dad is in an L shaped studio, so it is nicer than just a normal studio. It is just a great family atmosphere and I would recommend.

We chose Sinclair Place because we needed to get my mom someplace quickly that had the care she needed. The room sizes here were perfect for her needs. Overall, we were not here long but it worked for our needs at the time.

The nurse is terrible at returning phone calls. They have changed general managers three times in a year. The turnover is very high at Wildflower Place. My loved one hates the food here. I've not been able to get in to the community for almost a year due to the pandemic. I was able to have one porch visit. My loved one had some medical concerns and the staff never called to let us know. I wish they were more attentive and responsive to the families and residents.

We chose Sinclar Place at the time because because they were more welcoming than some others that we looked into. Plus the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The single room that he had was very nice size, plenty of room for him. The bathroom had much more room and was very accessible. He was not a fan of the food. The portions were not enough and they did not serve enough meat. But he did love the desert cart. He did enjoy the game nights that they had here and he talked about it quite a bit. Overall, I would recommend.

My loved one really enjoy Ridgeview. The staff were great. The community was clean. My loved one's room wasn't getting cleaned as I had hoped it would, especially in the bathroom. The younger staff would call my loved one by their first name, and my loved one felt disrespected. They felt that their request wasn't be heard, so the family had to meet with administrative. Ridgeview Place had a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. Some of them were outings for the residents to go to for lunch and shopping, playing bingo in the community, arts and crafts and other activities.

My parennts came from a small town and chose this community because it was smaller than some others we looked into. The affordability also played a factor. The room sizes here were bigger than the other places that we looked into. I would also add that the rooms have carpet in them which makes it feel more homey rather than institutional. I would absolutely recommend Plum Creek Place with no hesitation.
