This facility is pretty nice. I took a tour while looking for a place for my parents and I liked it. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The overall cleanliness seemed okay but none of the trashcans had liners in them, which was a little off putting. Overall, it didn’t stand out to me one way or another so I decided against moving my parents in.

This place was similar to others I looked at but more expensive. They are remolding the place which should be nice. They are also pet friendly.

My mom is in this community and I am happy with the size of the place. She is very happy with the meals. The cleanliness and the laundry services seemed to be good. The staff is attentive and helpful just seems like they are spread a little thin was the impression I got. They try to engage mom to join in on the daily activities. Mom loves to stay in her room and read all day. The location is fantastic it is close to her dentist and her doctors. I would recommend this community.

I liked this facility better than some of the other places I toured. It is a newer community and it’s more out of the city. I unfortunately couldn’t bring my Father here because it doesn’t fit his needs. [Removed] the tour guide was wonderful and seemed very knowledgeable and informative. It was a smaller facility but it was more expensive than other places. I was also thinking about long term care and they do not accept Medicaid.

When I first looked at this facility, I noticed how clean and attractive it looked. It’s in a neighborhood and it has a homey appeal to it. It never once felt like an institution. When I ate a meal here, the food left something to be desired and the portion wasn’t plentiful either. When we mentioned this to the staff member, he said the residents would be able to pick different options. We were actually sat at a table with a few different residents and they were all grumpy and it was a downer. My Father said it felt like he was surrounded by a bunch of old people. The staff members were nice, friendly, and seemed like they truly cared about the residents. I would recommend this facility.

I toured this community. It was a little bit more formal and expensive looking. It is a newer building and it was nice and clean. They answered all of my questions. But it was further away from me so we chose a closer place.

When my Mother and I first walked in, we knew this was the place. It's very inviting and feels like home. They have vibrant colors and they take good care of the facility. My mom toured the facility a few times and liked the fact they had individual rooms and is able to have more privacy. Whenever you walk in the staff is welcoming, friendly, and personable. They take their time to answer all of our questions and we never feel rushed. I can tell my Mother is comfortable here. They treat her with respect. She also appreciates that the staff members let her be as independent as she can be and they are there when she needs them. The facility also has a bunch of activities like exercise classes, field trips, entertainment that comes in, and a lot of board games. I would recommend this facility.

I am satisfied with the care that my husband is receiving from here. The staff is nice and they’re accommodating. My husband has to be fed through liquid so it’s nice that they can do that. He doesn’t have any complaints with the food at all. The cleanliness is also good. I never see any debris or trash being overflowed in the bins. It also doesn’t have a bad smell like other facilities have. Activities are offered too, my husband participated in an exercise program one day. I would recommend the place to others. It is not a huge facility with many tenants so it’s not overwhelming to adjust. My husband seems to be enjoying his time there and his needs are being met. The other residents who are there are friendly as well, my husband likes to have lunch time conversations with them during the day.

I really love this community because it has a homey intimate feel. It’s a lot smaller than some of the newer places. My mom says the food is good but it’s not like home cooking. They offer 3 meals a day and have 4 to 5 different picks for each meal. The facility is very well kept and has a beautiful courtyard with flowers, trees, and walkways. The staff is very friendly and personable. I did have 1 issue one night but the staff took ownership right away and they were very responsive to the issue. When I came in the next day the staff came up to me right away and let me know what happened. It felt good that they took ownership. The rooms are nice and spacious. A very nice housekeeper comes in often and cleans my mom’s room. The facility offers a bunch of activities. The day my mom moved in they actually had miniature horses that came in for the residents to pet. Other activities include dancing groups, arts and crafts, painting, musical drums, and musicians that come in. There is always something for my mom to do. The staff even sends me pictures of my mom doing these activities. Everyone is super friendly here and I highly recommend this community.

The women who work here are very friendly. They always call to let me know if she needed extra care. The workers always let me know health information.

We moved my mother-in-law into River Run Place a few months ago, and it has been a great experience so far. My mother really likes it here. She is able to feel independent, even when she isn’t as independent as she used to be. The staff is very good here, which is a main reason why she chose this community. When we were first touring, the Admissions director just took her by the hand, called her by name, and just smoozed her and made her feel really comfortable there. The staff as a whole speaks to everyone, encourages everyone, and really makes everyone feel like they’re among friends. I don’t feel that they really do much by way of activities or going places, because the activity committee is run by a group of residents at the community and word of mouth is really the only way an activity gets added to the list. My mother really likes this though. She has gotten involved in things she usually wouldn’t do in part because she’s able to interact with people in her same age group. They also have a free library here and the food is good, always nutritious and complete. Overall, I would recommend River Run place to others because it has been so positive for my mother and such a relief for the rest of the family.

My sister and I were so relieved when we arrived for our tour. Finding a place on an urgent basis for our 97 year old father was stressful but think this will be great for him. The only con is the studio rooms are on the small side but workable. [Removed] was great. So thankful we found it.

I am really very pleased with the care my brother is receiving I am more than confident we made the right choice. He really likes being where he is settled in and quite content.he is doing some of the activities they offer not a lot but he is doing more than where he previously lived.The food is pretty good if he doesn't like it he has the option of sending it back and asking for something else. He is allowed to have food in his room which makes is better so his fridge is stocked with food I bring him. The staff is very friendly and nice here.I would recommend this community

I have no complaints about how things had went for my tour at this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I thought the overall experience was pleasant it was just not the right location for our family in the end decision.

This community is very nice however it was not in the desired area we were looking at. We liked the community a lot it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and nice. It seemed to offer a lot of things in the area of activities and amenities.

I toured this community for my mom. We liked the staff and the menu. The community did not feel like it offerer a nice atmosphere. They offered activities. We would suggest a tour for other families.

This community was nice however we didn't think it was going to be a good fit for my mom. The community is on the smaller size and there didn't seem to be as many activities than others we had toured. We were also thinking more down the road and thinking if mom needed more care than it would be better for us to move her to a continuing care community versus just a assisted living community.

Both of my parents have recently made the move into this community and so far things are going well for them both. They are getting settled in and adapting into there new living environment that has been the perfect fit for them so far. The staff have been helpful to there needs and I like that the nurses are on top of things when it comes to there health. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and we have been pleased with how things have gone so far.
