Bickford of Overland Park: A wonderful, warm, and inviting place. My aunt was only there for a short time, but they were very good and caring to her. What I really liked about it, is that it's small. Everybody knows everybody.

My experience with Oak Creek Place has been good so far. They worked with my loved one to get him in at a reasonable price. The facility itself is really nice, absolutely very clean. The place is very nice; excellent.

The Russ Place was an absolute godsend! My father was having bypass surgery and needed a "respite" room for a few weeks to recover as he lives by himself out in the country and my brother and I live in a different state. Before his surgery, we met with Michelle and Angel who are phenomenal ladies where it's obvious that caring for people is their passion. * My brother and I were extremely impressed with the facility as well as by the entire staff who were all friendly and professional. The Russ Place even provided a welcome sign for my dad upon his arrival. * It was conveyed that social events are held quite often for residents to feel that they are part of a community. My dad was invited to attend the big fish fry that was coming up. * For a few days after being released from the hospital, my dad could not make it to the dining room for meals so the staff brought him his meals. Even though my brother and I did not eat in the dining room as guest, we saw the meals that were provided to my dad and it all looked delicious. * They have someone on the premises 24/7 in case of an emergency. The residents have pull strings in the rooms and can wear a pendant in order to call the person on duty. The care they showed my dad was wonderful - they had someone remove my dad's surgery stockings before he went to bed and put them back on for him in the morning. * The facility is clean and has amenities such as a salon for haircuts, computers, and a beautiful enclosed patio for those who want to soak up some sun especially after being in a hospital room for over a week. My dad mentioned that he was able to get a haircut at the hair place which made him feel better. They have a laundry room on the premises and someone who will wash/dry clothes as needed - even when it's not laundry day. :) They have someone to come in and clean the residents room on a weekly basis. * The price was reasonable and definitely well worth it. I cannot stress how much of a blessing the Russ Place was to us during our time of need and I would recommend their facility to anyone!

They've done a great job so far at Bickford at Mission Springs, I'd give them top marks across the board! It's a well kept, clean, nice looking facility, and the staff are all very caring and professional. And they're the friendliest people on Earth! I've had some experience with other communities and the staff at Bickford are far and away the best I've worked with!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Bickford. The staff have gone ABOVE and BEYOND anything that I could have expected. They made the difficult transition from my mother to living in assisted living much easier. It is very difficult dealing with a parent with memory issues, and the staff has made me feel at ease knowing that she is in good hands. The building is amazing, the food is great and the activities they offer the tenants is quite remarkable. Every time I have called, I have felt that the staff truly care about every concern I have and making my mom feel at home. Many times the director answers the phone which is very comforting. As independent, assisted living and memory care tenants lives together in the same building, my mother is not separated because of her memory issues which I feel will give her more of a sense of independence. I feel very confident that she couldn't be in a better place.

I think Oak Creek Place is excellent! It is a nice looking, clean facility, and I like the location. It is in what feels like a secluded area, not close to a main road, so it is calm and quiet. The staff are all friendly and professional, and provide excellent care. They also do a great job with the food. Overall it is a very nice place, and a great value for the price range.

When I walked in the front door, it was bright and everyone was smiling and welcomed me. Lisa gave me a tour and answered all my questions. Lisa said they have 10 residents at this time; which I thought was great for my father. He will get the care and one on one he likes to receive. I also had the pleasure to meet the RN and the Executive Director. They are very friendly and down to earth professionals. My father will be happy here.

They've done an excellent job here overall. They did a really excellent job during the tour interacting with my loved one and answering her questions about the community, and really won her over. They've remained personable and friendly and she's really been enjoying herself. One aspect I think they could work on is to increase the frequency of the activities. I like what they've got, they just need to happen more often.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for my loved one. Everything we saw during our tour looked very nice, it was a well kept clean community, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. This wasn't the community we ended up selecting but was definitely somewhere we considered.

Sterling House of Fairfield is wonderful. It's a very nice facility. My husband really improved in there. It's a nice, small place where everybody knows everybody by name. I can't say enough good about them. I would say they are low to normal for cost. I liked pretty much everything. They had a problem getting the billing straight but they tried their best to get it right. I felt like my husband needed more socialization and activities which the did. When he was there he improved immensely and he still goes back and volunteers there now so he gets that socialization with out living there. It worked out great!

Unfortunately while our loved one was at Ridgeview Place they declined very quickly - it was nothing of the communities fault it was the type of dementia they had. During that experience we were very happy with the community. They had a lot of great helpers and aids that became very special to us. The nurses there were just fantastic.

It worked really well for a respite stay. The admissions process was very easy. They allowed us to bring the furniture that made my loved one feel comfortable. Overall a very good experience for us. The staff were excellent to work with and they are great people. The staff were on the ball due to a medical emergency and helping get the emergency personnel to the community for our loved one. We are still waiting on a refund for the days that my loved one was no longer able to be in the community due to the medical emergency.

Good community, on older side. My loved one didn't care for the fit or feel of the community.

I would recommend Suncrest Place to others for their loved ones. They are very friendly here, and the community is on the smaller side which makes it more personal. The staff are responsive to questions or concerns the family has, there are times it can take a while to hear from them. Medication management, dressing, hygiene, and bathing assistance are some of the types of care the community has been able to assist my loved one with. Three meals a day, the room, housekeeping, laundry, and changing of linens are included in the monthly price.

We had a really good tour experience with Bickford at Mission Springs. The only issue was the cost was higher than some others we saw and I had a few concerns about the facility itself.

It is a smaller sized community which we really like, the staff are all very nice and they do seem to have great medical care.

The staff have been very helpful and courteous with our loved one. This is a good place for your loved one and a small community. The staff really care and are dedicated and overall this is a great value.

The staff member genuinely care about the residents and are very responsive to their needs. They had great communication with our family, and overall we were extremely happy. The staff went above and beyond to make things happen quickly for us even during the covid exposures and lockdowns. The .5 would be small things related like being short staffed at night especially during the evenings.

We chose Preston Place because it seemed like it would be the best fit for my loved one. The rooms here are a good size for what she needs. The staff members really seem to care about the residents which is something that we find very important. I would recommend this facility to others looking.
