I feel my mother is receiving the best care possible. The staff are all loving, caring, and compassionate. I'm glad they have received the, "Best in Hood River 2016" award. They work hard and deserve the honor.

Things are going swell and my mother is doing really well at Bickford of Overland Park. The staff is excellent! They just make everybody feel like they are at home. They go out of their way to help. They have residents who have been there longer pair with a new resident. They do a lot of activities, my mother is never in her room when I call anymore. They go on little field trips out of the place as well. The food I would rate a four and a half. They've struggled with keeping good kitchen staff.

My mother loves Preston Place. I am very impressed with the home-like atmosphere and the caring staff.

My parents both moved to Eagle Pointe Place. Things are going good, they are both doing well. The staff are very friendly and nice. My dad always says that everyone is so friendly there. It is a very nice place, I would highly recommend it. The food is good, my dad does complain about some items like pasta, but they do alwayd offer an alternative food option. My mom has Alheimer's so she doesn't participate in much activities. There is a guy who comes in and plays cards with my father and he really enjoys that.

Plum Creek Place made the transition and adjustment for my father moving in there so much easier. We love the staff! The staff and the other residents welcomed him with open arms. All the residents are great, they make him feel like family. He is content and happy here. I think moving him to this community was the best thing we could have done for him. The friendliness of the staff is a five plus! I definitely recommend.

Wildflower Place is a wonderful place everything is going great since moving my mother there. She is really loving it there the staff is really friendly and helpful and really helped us with the transition of moving her there. They are very supportive of my mother and I. The only thing my mother wish they would improve a bit would be the food there. Overall we are happy with the choice of moving mom there.

Things are going excellent. Mom is very happy there and she is well cared for by the staff at Kingswood Place. So, far I do not have any problems or complaints with the facility or the staff there. A great experience so far.

Our experience at Brookdale Urbana has been a very positive one, overall! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they've really been a huge help to us throughout the whole move-in process. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and they've got a lot to offer the people who live here!

Management team is just incredible. They are the most kind and helpful team of people that I've had the pleasure of receiving help from! I was very hesitant to start looking for a place for my mother, but this team made me feel that they truly had our family's best interest at heart. The marketing person I spoke to told me that she "wants to make sure river run place was the best fit for mom"... They were there to help me determine moms wants and needs and ultimately we made our decision the same day to bring mom to River run. The building is clean & they have linens on the tables... Which is a beautiful touch. I love that the building is smaller than most I've seen. Mom feels like she has more consistent care and knows everyone who works there... Which is so nice to know my mom actually loves where she lives. I could honestly go on forever. This place is a gem and I am so excited for more people to find this gem and bring even more wonderful people to this lovely assisted living.

We moved my father in law into Russ about 3 weeks ago. We were certainly hesitant about moving him from his home but felt it was safer for him to have someone there 24/7. Sandy [removed] was instrumental in the final decision that it was the right place for him. She explained everything in great detail. It takes some time to adjust to a new place and new way of life, but my father in law is adjusting well thanks to the great caring and attentive staff! They provide many activities that allow seniors that have just stopped being social to get back into life and have those social connections they really need and want! Russ is a very clean, well organized facility and we could not be happier. We made the right decision to look for a great Assisted Living facility for him but we are sooooo happy that we found the RIGHT one!! Thanks Russ!! We appreciate all of you for taking care of a man we love so much! Highly recommend!!!

This place is awesome! The aides here are really great people. They help out all the time with everything. They do all there work to my knowledge. The place is clean and fresh smelling. Overall the dependability of the aides is spectacular!!!!

She does not like to participate in the activities, but they do provide them. I really like the staff. They are really caring and they are very nice and care about their residents. Overall this is a good facility.

They are very good at what they do and they have a lot of empathy for the residents and for my loved one and they have been taking really good care of her. They have a lot of activities that are things that she likes to do and their food is excellence.

I volunteered [here] a couple of years before I realized that it was a great place. I'm 82 - talked to Teri and came here; if only I could still volunteer. I got to know several great seniors. You can not find a better place. Thanks for asking me.

My experience with the Kingswood Place has been most positive and my loved one has adjusted to the environment quite well. Every time I come to visit she tells me that she just loves all of the people there.

My 98 year old mother has lived at Crawford House for about 4 months at the time I am writing this. The smaller size of Crawford House is perfect and the move has been absolutely awesome for her. She is not very social, so it is hard to get her out and about. But, the staff is fabulous with her. They never give up encouraging her to go to meals, and no matter what they make sure she has a good meal each and every time, even if she insists on eating alone in her apartment. She has many interactions with the staff throughout each day, and it is obvious to me that they really care about her. I even occasionally get calls from CH staff to discuss ideas and items to improve my mother's day to day life. The attitude at Crawford House is all about the care of the resident, and far less about paperwork, and constant assessment. Bottom line, they do an incredible job of caring for Lois, and I don't worry about her day to day like I have in the past. The facility is quite nice, well maintained and very pleasant in every way. But, it is the staff that really sets Crawford House apart from other, larger, and perhaps better known/marketed facilities in this area.
