We toured this facility in April and were very impressed by everything. My mom moved in in May. We are there every week and have been very pleased. The facility is clean, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Making the decision for your loved one to move to a facility is difficult but Kingsbury makes it a lot easier.

Our Mother had a lot of trouble adjusting with being away from home, wanting to leave. With help from the staff they advised us about having "Visiting Angels" come in and sit with her a couple weeks to help get her involved with activities and make friends with others. With help from everyone our Mother has adjusted well and has made many friends. We absolutely love all the staff. The beauty shop is excellent, they did such a beautiful job on our Mother's hair and nails. You could tell she just loved how she looked, she got so many compliments. The food always looks and smells fantastic. The commons areas and courtyard are always so well kept. Our Mother's room is always clean and very well kept. Thank you for all you do!

From the first experience at Mansfield Place, our family has been amazed at the friendliness, energetic, welcoming people here. My Mom finally got moved in and she loves it. There are so many activities for the people to do everyday. There is someone who does hair. The food is good and Mom loves the snacks too.

Loved it and enjoy the drumming. It was nice to see my Mom participate. So nice, loved dancing too. Blessings, loved to help out and have fun.

The staff interacts fully with the residents. It has a very welcoming environment - both curb appeal and interior furnishings. I believe residents enjoy themselves here and family members find a pleasant facility to visit. I often recommend Mansfield Place to friends looking for assistance for their loved ones.

I would summarize the quality of care at Westwood Place as calming. Having my loved one living at this facility brings calm to both my loved one and the caregiver. It is reassuring to know that the quality of care, the quality of life, and the quality of health brings a calmness to me and my family. The nursing staff is top-notch and keeps a close eye on any situation that arises. The aides are always treating the residents with care and keep a lighthearted atmosphere. Westwood provides many activities and make new residents feel right at home. I would highly recommend Westwood Place for any senior that needs/wants to be cared for in a loving, caring, and calming manner.

This place is a hidden treasure. Very nice facility! Nice having a clinic next door! Personally we need a place that will accept Medicare/Medicaid after Mom runs out of money. They are currently trying to get that done though.

One of the most attractive facilities I've seen. It was really a nice atmosphere and the people seem real friendly, It felt like a home in a way and not like a nursing home. I highly recommend it.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Russ Place. My family and I were looking for a place to assist our soon to be 90 years old mother in the El Dorado, AR. area. I contacted “A Place for Mom” and was referred to Russ Place Senior Living in Ruston, LA. I contacted Russ Place and was given an appointment to visit the facility at our convenience. On our arrival, my husband and I were met by [name removed], Community Relations Manager who treated us like long time friends and made us feel like family. We were introduced to [name removed], Staff Nurse and [name removed]. Community Chef as we received the grand tour of the remarkable facility. We were introduced to several of the residents as well. These residents seemed to be so happy and were quick to tell us how much they loved Russ Place and their Staff. [name removed] gave us and meticulously explained their program to us and we were ready to go back home and explain to other family members we had found the right place for our mom. As we began discussions with family and of course, mom, we ran into some serious obstacles. Russ Place Staff did not stop assisting us. [name removed] and [name removed] as well as members at the corporate offices worked diligently to make everything happen for us. They assisted us with information on finances and physician specialties. [name removed] even telephoned and spoke with mom in person and other family members as well answering any questions they had. She sent information, pictures, calendars of events and all the plans they had made to help our mother to feel welcome and plans to use her in activities to keep her busy. Unfortunately, our mother decided she just was not ready for a move of this type right at this time. Mom has decided to move into our home for the time being. BUT, the Staff at Russ Place has not forgotten us. They continue to stay in contact with me giving me encouragement and letting me know they are still there for me when the time comes and mom needs to make the next move. As a result of their caring, professional, courteous and kind treatment, I have told everyone I come into contact looking for a place for family about Russ Place. Russ Place is an awesome Community with a remarkable Staff!! [name removed] El Dorado, AR

Mom loves it here!

My dad has lived at Kent Place for a year now. The staff is supportive and attentive to his needs and I have complete confidence in the care they provide. The facility is smaller which is perfect and ensures that the residents don't get lost in the crowd. The staff checks on the residence several times during the day and always encourage them to participate in the activities. Residence meet monthly with the staff to discuss menu options, activities and discuss community items in general. Family members are always welcome and the staff makes a point of getting to know us. I have recommended this community to others and will continue to do so.

I have lived at Kent Place for one year. My cozy studio apartment comes with a view of the beautiful garden. The food is healthy and delicious and there is always an alternative menu to choose from. I love getting the three o’clock knock which means the snack trolley is at my door! I enjoy the various activities offered daily: classic board games, arts & crafts, a rolling library and outings to interesting places: Oregon Zoo, Washougal Falls, Washougal Museum, Antique Shopping, and events with other Senior Living communities. I love the Salon, the Activities Room and the Garden. Kent Place's staff is WONDERFUL. It is obvious that they like their jobs, and this translates into compassionate care for all residents here.

My Father has been living at Kent Place for about 4 months now and we love it. The staff is very attentive and caring. They have been very helpful to my family. Asking about what we need and what they can do to make us comfortable.
