My mother was there for 2 years, and the rates increased, but the services promised did not. In fact, since the last name change/buy out, it became unbearable. My mom ended up in the hospital. Understaffed and it seems to have many employees who are not a good fit to work there..starting with management. Its a shame the amount of money that is charged for poor quality services provided. Also if a person happens to run out of money they get the boot. Kind of a scam to me. Manager is rude and a liar.

My loved one did not get the care that we were told they would be receiving. The staff needs to check on their residents more. There were different times when i would visit my loved one and they had a bathroom accident but the staff didn't help out cleaning them up. The price that we paid was very high for the poor services that they provided . There needs to be a change of manager as well because they were not acknowledging our problems.

The place could be really nice if the employees would focus more on the residents as opposed to the problems between staff. When brough up to the executive director she seemed to know about this but did nothing in return. If your loved one is fully capable of taking care of themselves then sure rogue river place could be an option. But if they need even the slightest bit of assistance then look elsewhere.

There are some people there that just absolutely should not be involved in senior care. My wife is down there right now moving my father out of this place. They talked a very good game, but did not deliver at all. They helped my father in law get moved in, but it went downhill from there. They were understaffed, and the people there did not know how to properly care for him. They would not make his bed appropriately, linens were filthy and not cleaned right (I'll spare you the gross details) to the point where he developed bed sores. Dad deteriorated very quickly. He might have deteriorated anyway, but they surely hastened the process. Linkville House had a good reputation, had good reviews, and apparently at one point did a good job. Then they had a change of staff and management, and they have been incompetent. They need to be inspected and either radically change their ways or be shut down!

We were told what we needed to hear to get us to sign up and write the check. He wasn't even there for 24 hours before they called to say that they couldn't accommodate him. I am very disappointed. They did have a meeting after that to discuss our disappointments, but did not offer to reimburse any of the money that we are out which included moving expenses, first months rent, care services, and community fees. I would definitely make sure you ask questions and get answers from more than one person before making decisions. We asked all the right questions, but unfortunately, the person we were asking didn't have the correct answers.
