During our stay at Sinclar Place we figured out that they were very understaffed, as is the whole world. They were not clear with us on their abilities to support our loved one. They told us what they wanted to happen, but it was impossible to carry through on it based on their lack of staffing.

The people were pleasant at this community but there was another community that was the best overall. This community did not have a medicaid option and that was needed. Also the environment just seemed less social than what I was looking for for my loved one.

The community is clean, some of the staff members were great and others we felt should not be in the business. The meals were awful, and for what the residents and families are paying they need to up their food menu. The activities were good considering the staffing issues, but we still wish they did more things off sight for the residents.

Have been visiting family member since May 1. There have been 3 different cooks. Some of the other staff personnel have to cook on the weekends. Meals are not what were promised when we moved in. Facility in general is very clean but loved ones room does not always get cleaned like it should. I feel all of my complaints are due to staff shortage.

[name removed] who we worked with was great, she was so nice and helpful. This was a close second for us, but we liked another facilities dining area more.

Meals could be better. Maybe change it up.

Activities could be better on weekends.

There has recently been a change in staff. There is a regional director coming in a few days a week due to the director leaving. The staff from the floor have to help in the dining room and kitchen. The medication documentation could be improved Overall, it is a good community.

I feel like the doctors should have communicated with each other about his care, since they did not we are not out a lot of money since he was not able to move in. We were not satisfied with the experience that we had with them.

When it comes to the cleanliness of the community that is a five star, however when it comes to the cleanliness and up keep of our loved ones room that is more like two stars. However, our loved one does say the food they are serving is really good.

I would tell others it is an okay community. They seem to have a lot of turnover and shortages when it came to staffing. This impacted our loved ones care. I would have liked to see a little more effort in getting my loved one up and around.

My dad has only been here during covid. I think they are in the process of trying to write the ship a bit, there seems to be a lot of staff turnover and they were not prepared for their residents to quarantine in their rooms and my dad got infections from that. I did like the facility in the first place because it was smaller and I felt like they were a bit more eyes on but they suffered due to covid and could not jeep up with care. They did recently hire a new director so we are hoping for the best.

In the assisted living section, I don't feel like my loved one had enough eyes on her. We had a bad experience with falls. I would not recommend the assisted living unless you are totally ambulatory. I didn't realize there was no nurse there in the evenings or at night. There's too much neglect going on there in the evenings and at night. I just want others to know that upfront, because I didn't. It's been difficult with Covid going on, but form what I could see the dining room was clean, but the resident rooms were not at all.

My review of the facility is during covid. We chose Ridgeview Place at the time because of the location and for the advertised services, it seemed that the price was good. After dad went in here, there seemed to be a lot of turnover in staffing and inconsistencies. I was not particularly happy with the quality of care that he received here. My dad tested positive for covid and I was not notified for at least 2.5 weeks after, he was also sent to the hospital and I was not notified until the next day. The communication was just not good and sometimes was conflicting. I could not tour or go talk to people face to face, in a different environment without covid, I think it could have been a better experience.

The one bedroom our loved one has is very spacious, and the bathroom is even bigger then the one i have at home. We would recommend this community to others.

The physical look of the community was quite nice, it was really lovely. The rooms for the residents there were also very nice, and the activities were good. However while our loved one was there they went through a lot of personnel changes.

The community was great in the beginning, but the staff became so over worked that the nurses would sometimes cook their meals so they had less time to devote to the residents. Sometimes when our loved one pushed the button for help it would take awhile for someone to get to her.

We chose Cherryvale Place at the time because they did the best job of following up and making sure things were taken care of, so their sales process. They have been really struggling lately with keeping up with the workload due to covid. We consistently miss out on services because they are understaffed. I would not recommend at the moment.
