For the cleanliness of the community the open areas 4, Individual room 2. Overall it is a nice facility. For what it is. At first seemed perfect. Was bought out by new owners and many things changed. Items they said they would improve (food), did not. Items they said would remain, changed. Felt there was a lack of knowledge regarding Mom as an individual. If she didn't go out of her room they didn't care - even to eat. Plus, when I asked for specific info on her activities and food intake there was nothing able. Just word of mouth. Moved Mom in with me, so I'm aware of how she is REALLY doing. Our experience - Quiet assisted living with a simple atmosphere for residents. Feel food & communication to outside family could be improved. But overall would recommend.

It's very clean and comfortable and the people who run the place are great. However that does not translate well to floor staff. They are understaffed and although I'm sure the staff are trying their best and stretched thin. I feel like the individual attention given to the clients is low and a stronger staffing ratio would benefit them. The nursing staff was also very hard to communicate with and often didn't comply with wishes expressed by my mother's medical team.

It was all wonderful except the nurse - [name removed]. She was a bully to several residents (& my mothers husband) and myself towards the end, lied on several occasions, to myself and my mother, condescending, forgot or didn't order meds on time. She has several family members under her and I guess she thinks she has more leverage? Regardless, with her attitude, she has no business working with elderly, especially the ones who have no one advocating for them. It's a shame as the rest of the place was very good! It's a shame how 1 person can ruin a good facilities reputation! I need to add that she belittles the residences by yelling at them and saying, "Don't you remember me telling you this already?" Some of these people were non verbal! Shame on her! I heard it more than once and then learned she did this to my mother too. I want anyone looking to beware. It is a very nice facility, great caretakers, great food, clean. I liked it especially for the small family like feel. I look back now and I feel like I was lured as she was very nice at the beginning but I had no idea she treated people like this, esp. my Mom!

While I think Trustwell at Sinclair has potential and it appears new management and staff are working to make improvements, my experience with this facility is that was adequate for the time my parents were there. After about 2 months my father needed more nursing care and my mother moved back home. During the months they were at Sinclair, I did not feel we received the level of care for the amount we were spending and that it was necessary for me to be in constant contact regarding bills and medication management.

What I like the most about Plum Creek is that it is safe, you need a code to enter and leave. I would recommend Plum Creek Place to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

The most difficult struggle we had during my dads time at Wildflower Place was the lack of food options for diabetic residents. Always a problem for him. This is something that many prospective residents and their families would need to know and take into consideration.

The only advice for this facility I could give other families is, make sure you have the dr write an order for everything. From checking bp to after fall care. This facility will let someone fall and hit their head and not do anything after (check bp/call family). Staff is nice but not the best with notifying family or following hospice plans.

After having my mom there for two months, we realized they could not support her with the level of care that she needed. We then had to move her to a skilled nursing facility.

I think Cherryvale Place was a nice facility but my Dad was right on the cusp of needing more skilled care due to memory issues and ultimately fell through the cracks there. This was not entirely their fault as he was vehement about not going into a "nursing home" but ultimately it led to repeated hospitalizations due to issues with his blood sugar and falls. He passed after a brief stay in a rehab facility which transitioned into hospice care.

I would recommend Trustwell.

There is a lot of staff turnover and they are frequently short staffed, so response times to get assistance are long. They recently opened up a memory care wing and so I think the resources for the assisted living section are more limited than before. They also haven't been great at cleaning the rooms well and giving residents showers on a regular basis.

I would only recommend Ridgeview to ppl who have family that closely watch over their care plan, that services in it have been requested/approved, are necessary and actually rendered.

My loved one has been at Trustwell for a while and has been fairly happy. However, since they replaced the majority of the staff, things have shifted. And not all of it for the better. I have made multiple attempts to reach out but never get a response. The new nurse is never available nor does she respond when you need something. They replaced the cook and we'd hoped food would improve. It hasn't. My loved one has had toast burned on one side and some things are nearly inedible. On the positive side, the facility is well-maintained and clean. The new activities director seems to really care about residents getting out of their apartments and having quality in their lives. Hopefully things will fully improve overall.

It's small and quant, it was not the cleanest, but I have seen worse. Staff turn over was a big issue but I feel like that's everywhere. They took my mom quickly when we didn't have many options. The management was very friendly. The facility however as not worth the price. The admissions coordinator was phenomenal. I can't recall her name because my mom passed in Dec 22' it's been a yr and half ..but she was very helpful.

My loved one is a resident at Trustwell Living of Raytown. The staff that they have are great, but they are short staffed overall and need more staffing. The cleanliness is great!

My mother was there for 2 weeks for respite care. I felt that my mother was safe at this facility. The room did not have an acceptable size television when we checked in, but that was rectified the next morning. We found a few cleanliness issues (toilet not cleaned properly, mold in the A/C unit). Again, those issues were resolved immediately. My mom has developed some dementia and the nursing staff are reluctant for her to return to Assisted Living long term. Mom can take care of all of her personal needs, but needs her medications given to her. I have texted, emailed, and left voice messages for their representative for a price for long-term Assisted Living and to schedule a tour of their Memory Care unit. I have had no response. Apparently, they don't want my lovely mother there. It is disappointing to me that they didn't have the courtesy to call me . Due to this, unfortunately I cannot recommend Trustwell at Hunters Crossing Place to others.

Overall has been good. Mostly because someone is there to tend to the client. The building is kept up well. Doesn't smell when you go in. Had to ask for a large stain to be cleaned from apartment floor after moving in. Felt like because it want used it was just left. I'm not sure it was cleaned before client moved in. There was what appeared to be urine on the base of the toilet. Friendliness of staff - before we decided to go there everyone was super friendly. Since we have been there the daytime secretary has been completely rude at times not just to us but to others as well. It was definitely brought to their attention as it costs to much for an attitude of any kind. The overall rest of the staff such as maintenance man [name removed], and lunch ladies especially [name removed] are very pleasant and help everyone and if they don't know they get someone. Haven't seen much of the office staff since we first met. The hair stylist that is there and is not employed by them is an excellent lady. Overall pretty friendly. The communication between staff has a lot to be desired. Quality of care - Seems like they do a good job checking on her blood sugar/ diabetes. Takes at least 15 minutes before anyone responds to a button push for assistance. Seems long when you need something. Takes a while to get use to there food. According to the clients it has lots to be desired. Large amounts and there is not a diabetic diet. I'm not sure there is even a low sodium one. The activity ladies are nice. They have to go ask my client if she wants to participate. I'm not sure they do. She can't remember that is why she is there. Have to schedule with the activities director for transportation to appointments. Apparently they don't take anyone after 2 to appointments. Value for cost - nothing to compare it to.

Short staff. Have to wait a long time to get in. Not always but enough to note. Weekends get long because of no activities offered

My loved one was previously a resident at Trustwell Living at Sinclair Place and I was there for two months helping her move. The facility was beautiful, but understaffed. They provided minimum services to the residents there. The food looked terrible and every meal, the poor ladies at the table with my loved one picked at the food and barely ate anything. The poor server apologized to them for the food. It was a classy looking, beautiful facility and the services promised sounded great! However, they did not deliver what was promised. Administration did not care about the residents, only the aides, nurses and kitchen staff seemed to care. Don't choose this place unless you're going to be checking in almost daily.

Find another community! Not only was the care lacking they had my billing messed up from the beginning which didn't get resolved until months after I moved my loved one to another facility! I would tell a friend beware and stay away from Ridgeview Place.
