The nurses were amazing and very caring. The facility recently changed ownership, and while improvements are being made, there are still areas that need attention. The cleaning staff seemed almost nonexistent during my stay. The food was also an issue — meals were never served hot, and one evening ribs with large bones were served. For senior citizens who may struggle using utensils, that was not an appropriate meal choice. Hopefully these concerns will improve as the new management continues making changes.

Nice spacious facility. The rooms are nice with 2 TVs. There was a huge discrepancy in price estimate between a Place for Mom and Traditions.

Food not so good, sometimes they didn't seem to have enough patience but all in all, it was good.

Really liked the facility. Still not sure how the extra care pricing is figured. Woman conducting the tour did an excellent job answering our questions as well as anticipating questions we hadn’t thought of.

I like it here. I would give it a 4 because I would like more different activities. The food is good with a varied menu and the staff is very nice. I would recommend it to others

Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. They do many things to welcome newcomers and help them become acclimated. Food and d as support is good. Only thing keeping me from rating a 5 is timeliness to perform maintenance type issues on the apartment. Understood they need to prioritize more serious issues but the bathroom fan has not been working since my mom moved in. We've turned in a few work requests. Fan is still not operating. There are other things that have been addressed in a more timely manner, not sure why this one item remains. Anyway, overall we are pleased with Traditions Deerfield

Reviewing the contract for Brookdale was eye-opening due to the 40-50 potential add-on charges that increase based on care needs. Simple tasks, like laying out clothes, cost an extra $[removed] per month, while basic dressing assistance adds $[removed]. These add-ons significantly increase monthly expenses. Because my father did not qualify for the $[removed] veterans 'boots on the ground' subsidy, I decided not to enroll him. He requires a facility that accepts Medicaid and can manage a Miller's Trust. Brookdale is fine if you have a massive budget, but it is not sustainable for our financial situation.

The staff is very responsive. The food is a 6 out of 10 It's basically cafeteria food. Offer more healthy choices.

Like most- wheelchair shuttle available. Better- the laundry staff place her clean, folded clothes on the bed. Makes it hard for her to sleep in the bed.

This place was very impressive - the facilities, the activities, and the people were all outstanding.

Our assessment was positive. The staff we met and the residents conveyed a good atmosphere. The location and exterior of the facility gave a favorable impression.

Nursing station was very good. Assistants were young and most were not trained well. The front line people are the assistants and helpers. A few were Great but most were Always in a rush to leave and did not take time to make sure the patient was fine. Especially showering and added functions needed . The help that cleaned were exceptional. Very clean facility and also room cleaning was very good. Activities offered were very good and many. Room sizes were excellent. Food was so so. What was advertised on menu is not always what you received. Institutionalized food is usually not very good anyway. My Mom ate it, I would not. Unless you ordered a burger or hot dog. Availability and location is usually important. When I was looking Traditions was the closest. I made some recommendations to top staff and they agreed, so possibly things will have already started to changed.

Room sizes are ok. We got a large room for mom. The small ones are not much bigger than a bedroom. You can fit a chair in there too but that's it. Food is fine. Activities I think they could actually have more.

Everyone was so nice there. You have a beautiful facility. I was impressed with all the activities that you have going on.

Absolutely beautiful place. Wonder staff and very well organized. It was not a good fit for my aunt based on location. I did the tour to keep our options open. So we will not be sending her there. But is a wonderful place to consider your loved ones needs.

The assisted living as nice. Lots of activities. The memory care gave us concern. Residents asleep with heads on tables, urine puddled under a chair. After a delay in information sharing they decided not to accept our family member.

The facility is clean, bright, and one of the, if not the, nicest facility in the area. The staff are all great and my loved one feels comfortable there. Food is ok but could be improved upon.

Facility is good but they are under staffed. Takes a long time to get help. I would recommend it. It is a great location. Very quite and clean. All food is prepared fresh daily by their cooks from the kitchen. No pre- packaged food. Kitchen available all day for residents.

The facility is an “Age in Place” facility. The overall cleanliness was great. There was a cleaner smell when I fist entered that was a little strong and smelled like it was masking urine. I am not sure if someone recently had an accident and the odor was from it being cleaned up. Other than that my experience was great. A lot of activities and outings are scheduled. Tenants appeared to be happy and social. Pricing and room size were reasonable.

I like that they are patient and helpful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for memory care for their loved one.
