Traditions Management

My loved ones have been residents of Meadow Brook Senior Living for over a year now and I our experience although difficult at first because of all the covid restrictions has blossomed into a great one. Especially since Traditions Mgmt has taken over the the community the whole culture has has taken a turn to a very warm atmomsphere. The staff and team members are so willing to help in any way they can. They all great you smiles and kind words. The level of care is outstanding. I highly recommend this community for your loved ones.

I've been very happy here. I've been in a couple nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabs, and this has been the greatest. Everybody has been very nice. Having my own apartment is great, especially after the places I came from, because they were not so great. This has been a treat for me.

I was in search of a place for my parents. After much trepidation, I called Traditions and the community relations director answered the phone. He could not have been more reassuring. He sensed my uncertainty and said “he was here for me and that he would help me with whatever I needed”. I am from out of town and I knew scheduling a tour would be difficult- he said, “you can come over right now”. The director took the reigns when needed and from that visit on, the transition of moving my parents from their home to Traditions was well orchestrated and welcoming. The team at Traditions has been wonderful not only to my parents, but to our family, as well. We feel assured that the staff is taking excellent care of my parents when we are unable to be with them. It’s hard when it’s time to make the decision to move a family member- you want to know that your parent(s) are being taken care of physically and emotionally. It's a very nice facility. Everybody is really friendly and welcomes you in. We've just seemed to fit right in with everyone. I've not tried the food, but it smells really good. The Activities Director seems to stay busy with the residents and keep them occupied. When she's not busy doing that, she's handing out snacks and newsletters with memory-oriented puzzles and things. I really like it there, and my loved on seems to like it as well. I would definitely recommend them.

I would recommend you check the community out for your loved one. The staff are a stand-out to me. The location is good for our family to visit our loved one. They have a good chef, and the food could be improved on for the residents. Overall the food is good though.

We chose Traditions at Beaumont because they worked with us and gave us a good rate. The facility is very close to home and we really liked what we saw and the people that we met (staff and residents). It just seemed like the best fit for mom. Her apartment sizes is completely adequate for what she needs. It has been a good experience and I would highly recommend.

It is a good place to go for your loved ones. The staff was easy to work with and they kept me well informed about my loved one.

I would give a glowing recommendation for the community. The have been extremely helpful. The communication is excellent with the staff. The staff send out emails to all the residents' families. They have been responsive to any questions I have about my loved one via email or phone call.

It appears to me to be a safe place for a loved one. Know that helping your loved one get involved in the activities will help them get accustomed to being there. My loved one has not been participating, so it's been a more difficult process for her. Obviously most people don't want to go into a care facility, but if they at least get involved, it's easier to feel like they'll be relatively okay, and not feel alone or isolated. The staff have been good, and they keep trying to help her. And within the last week or so we've seen some improvement. She's made some goals to work on her physical strength so she can get out of her room and get out and involved. She's at least asked for my help, which is a good start. She'd like to have a meal with me in the dining room, which is open with social distancing 6 feet apart. Things have been clean - I 've never seen any problem with things being dirty or messy or cluttered. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose Traditions because they had a stand alone villa available, they got a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it is pretty big. Before covid, they were able to do bus trips to different places and they also provide transportation which is really. The meals here are chef prepared and really good, I actually met the chef the other day and he is very nice. I would recommend to others looking.

We really liked Brookdale. It was very nice, and a beautiful venue physically. The staff were very friendly. I have to question the continuity of the workers there. One young man who interviewed with us told my sister she could get back with him any time, that he wasn’t going anywhere. She called a week later and was told he was no longer working there. So we were left questioning what occurred there. But really the thing that swayed me elsewhere was a colleague of mine was working at another place. I knew I would be kept in the loop at that other place because I knew the nurse who worked there.

It has been a wonderful experience at Traditions at North Willow for my mom. Their care is excellent and their protocols that they had even before state mandates have been amazing and they have had minimal cases of covid among staff members and the residents. The director of medical has been awesome, she has the welfare of the residents first in mind. The day to day staff are great as well and know all residents and family by name, they go above and beyond. We could not be happier and I would absolutely recommend them.

[name removed] was so kind and helpful to my aunt, [name removed]. Besides walking with her to dinner on her first sight, I know she cleaned up after her and did a load of her clothes. She went above and beyond to make [name removed]'s first night comfortable.

I feel that the community is safe and clean. The staff takes good care of him and I think the food is good. The communication is great between the staff and the family and they keep us updated on any covid changes also. I would recommend this community to others

This appears to be a lovely facility, and [name removed] provided excellent communication and information; however, it does not meet our preferred criteria because they do not accept Medicaid Waiver for memory care units.

The staff members at the community are fantastic, and our loved one would of said the meals were great. For as expensive as it was, we were very comfortable with our loved one being there, we know she was well taken care of. From day one our loved one was very happy there and we never had anything to worry about.

I really cannot say enough good about New Hope Valley. They did everything that you could want. We chose this facility because of the location, it was closer to me. My only request was that she would be comfortable and not be in any pain and they said they would be able to do that for us. I would highly recommend to others looking.

The community provided a bus for residents to use for shopping. I was impressed with this community. My loved one was here for a week. We feel that the staff was the greatest that we could have asked for. This has my highest recommendation.

The activities at this community would be a 10 out of five. They have balloon volleyball, the residents can participate in arts and crafts and the activities director is absolutely fantastic. For memory care, the rooms are very nice spacious and very clean. However, when it comes to the care, there are some problems with the nursing staff.
