Traditions Management

After looking at many retirement communities in the Columbus area, my daughter, Abby, found Hilliard Assistant Living for me last Fall. I was diagnosed with some health problems last year and decided that it was time for me to move closer to my daughter and her family. I moved the day after Christmas 2020, just 3 1/2 miles from my family! Since then, I have been kept busy by the staff in the Activities department, enjoying the many exercise classes as well as bus trips to grocery stores and lunches out. Kim Martin, Food and Beverage Director, asked several of us to help with the Daily Specials each week. I've always enjoyed cooking and planning meals, so this has been fun for me. I am also an avid reader and helped to organize the Library soon after moving in. I do not need assistance right now, but know I will as I grow older. Now, I am enjoying getting to know the excellent and caring staff as well as the other Residents. I highly recommend Hilliard Assisted Living.

Our tour was great. My mother-in-law lived there years ago. When she lived there, she was happy. It seemed fine to us. The facility was just a little older compared other places we were considering.

We had a great tour with Traditions at Brookside, we did not choose this facility because they were not able to provide a private room under Medicaid.

It's very nice living, because everyone is so caring and so sweet. I feel at home here at Traditions.

The community always looks nice and clean inside. The people are kind. The staff is accommodating and residents look content.

The staff is super great. The food is good. [Name removed] and [name removed] are just wonderful. [Name removed] (PCA) is great. Love [name removed]. Traditions took exceptional care of us during Covid. I felt safe and loved during hard times.

Very pleasant staff, very helpful. Has very nice amenities. My apartment is perfect for me.

Great community. We love our garden home. Our home has everything we could possibly need. We call it our sanctuary.

Everyone is really nice. I used to take part in all the activities. They were fun. Faculty is always helpful. The place is always clean and smells nice.

I love living in the community. There are a lot of interesting things to do. The community is so pretty. I like the dark woodwork. Everyone is so kind and friendly.

Meadow Brook is a lovely community with many great amenities. A bistro, green house, movie theater, etc. But it is their management team that should keep Meadow Brook at the top of your options in Fishers!

I like the place itself. It's very good. As far as I can say, the staff are always very good too. The people here know what they're doing and they're always kind and friendly.

We had an in-person tour, and I thought it was a nice facility. We didn’t get to go into all of the areas due to Covid, but that wasn’t a deciding factor. We ended up choosing a different community that was all on one floor and had more evening/weekend opportunities for activities. Traditions had multiple floors, and we were concerned about our loved one navigating and using the elevators there.

My loved ones have been residents of Meadow Brook Senior Living for over a year now and I our experience although difficult at first because of all the covid restrictions has blossomed into a great one. Especially since Traditions Mgmt has taken over the the community the whole culture has has taken a turn to a very warm atmomsphere. The staff and team members are so willing to help in any way they can. They all great you smiles and kind words. The level of care is outstanding. I highly recommend this community for your loved ones.

I've been very happy here. I've been in a couple nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabs, and this has been the greatest. Everybody has been very nice. Having my own apartment is great, especially after the places I came from, because they were not so great. This has been a treat for me.

I was in search of a place for my parents. After much trepidation, I called Traditions and the community relations director answered the phone. He could not have been more reassuring. He sensed my uncertainty and said “he was here for me and that he would help me with whatever I needed”. I am from out of town and I knew scheduling a tour would be difficult- he said, “you can come over right now”. The director took the reigns when needed and from that visit on, the transition of moving my parents from their home to Traditions was well orchestrated and welcoming. The team at Traditions has been wonderful not only to my parents, but to our family, as well. We feel assured that the staff is taking excellent care of my parents when we are unable to be with them. It’s hard when it’s time to make the decision to move a family member- you want to know that your parent(s) are being taken care of physically and emotionally.
