I looked at a few places with the help of Kathy (advisor ) For A PLACE FOR MOM. When I arrived at BAYSIDE TERRACE I knew from the staff, Friendliness, and Cleanliness of the place that my Aunt. I was so impressed with the building as it is being redone. My Aunt is in a completely new room. She has a wonderful roommate, She stay's busy by calling Bingo. When I call to check on her everyone is so nice, they put her on the phone. We chat and she tells me not to worry she is fine. I had a lot of sleepless nights till I found this place. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAYSIDE TERRACE for your loved one.

My first visit to Sunset Lake Village in Venice, FL was life changing. The friendly informed staff were able to ease my mind about selecting an assisted living facility for my mother. The facility was extremely clean and inviting. I was so impressed that I brought my mother and sister for a tour the next week. It was a great fit for Mom and she'll be moving in next week.

Everyone is friendly, helpful. They have good dining. They have alot of activities which my mother doesn't participate in, but they are available for the residents. All of the people are fantastic. I really like it. People constantly ask how my mom is doing. They offer services one can add to one's package. They offer once a week cleaning. People are there several times a week doing various things for her, so they would know if she needed help. They have to check in and out, and if she didn't go down in so long they check. I'm quite happy with it, and I would recommend it. The location is very convenient for us.

The Oaks of Clearwater: The staff has been wonderful to work with, and very helpful with getting things settled. They have been very responsive with the questions we ask them. They have just been extremely helpful. The caregiving staff is excellent! The food and activities they have to offer the residents are both excellent. My parents are very happy. I would highly recommend The Oaks of Clearwater to others, in fact I already have.

I toured Balmoral while looking for placement for my father. He is in need of a memory care unit The tour was very informative. My guide, Joy, knew and spoke to all staff and residents we passed. She called each person by name and introduced me to them. I was able to visit privately and talk to some of the residents. Joy was very forthright and not the least evasive when answering my questions. The facility was very clean. The courtyards were amazing and the residents seemed to like using them. Many extra services are offered. Aging in place is part of the program. Activities are varied. The memory care unit was impressive. Food was delicious. I was most impressed with the genuine care and concern I witnessed staff giving to the residents. Another impressive feature is that whatever is done with and for the assisted living residents is also done for the memory care residents. Memory care rooms are single occupancy, which is a plus. I would not hesitate to let one or both of my parents stay at Balmoral.

Our experience with Sunset Lake Village was only a brief one, but overall I thought they did an excellent job. They were terrific in helping us get our loved one moved in quickly and efficiently. The director was wonderful to work with, and they handled all of our loved ones care needs very well. We'd definitely recommend them to anyone else looking into care in the area.

My 94 yr old dad loves the place, the activities, the location and everything!

Needed to help my neighbor find assistance and Nursing home kept coming into mind. Once I walked into the grand I knew this was the furthest thing from a nursing home. Apartments are beautiful and the place is spotless. since moving my friend in she has done a complete turn around. Gained weight and her Dr is so impressed with her health. I call to take her out and she is never in her aprtment. I kind of feel like she is too busy for me but I love that she is HAPPY.

I’m very happy the facility. The food is great. There is enough parking. There aren’t a lot of outside – outside areas, but there are two interior courtyards and they have enough space for people to walk around in.

Very nice room size, excellent services & beautiful. Saw no concerns & they were very upfront about 'extra expenses'. None that we needed that were not discussed, medical &otherwise.

Things seem to be going very well at Sunset Lake Village! My loved one has settled in and really seems to be enjoying herself. It's a nice community, the staff are friendly, and the food is good. It is worth a look if you are looking into options for a loved one!

They are definitely a five!

I liked it very much, I thought it was well run, and the people were very pleasant. The food was quite delicious. I moved only because I was concerned about the weather, tornadoes and hurricanes, and such.

I am happy with them. They are doing a great job. Five, five, five for everything. They are clean and friendly and responsive. Very good!!

I have never been there, so I am going on what I have heard dealing with them on the phone. I have spoken with the marketing director, and she is very good. At first it was difficult to get my mother to agree to it, and she was very helpful, then helpful with the actual moving process. It seems like they have a nurse that sees her once a week, even though she is in independent living. They also have a doctor on site. She saw the doctor right when she first moved in, who evaluated her and determined that she could live in independent, which we were happy and surprised about! She loves the activities, that is a five; they have Bingo, which she has won a few times. They go to church, the beach, Walmart. She gets 3 meals a day if she wants three meals, and she has a half kitchen in her room, a refrigerator without a stove. I like it, I would want to go there when I got to that age! Good to recommend.

I was most pleased with the warmth and care the staff at The Princess Martha demonstrated during the transition to their community. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. I was quite impressed that it did not feel or look like "an old folks' " home.

The staff that I have seen are good. Actually in general, from what I have seen, you get pretty good value for your money. More than competitively priced for assisted living. She is assigned a room with a roommate, but the roommate isn't there so she has a private room for half the price. There are doctors that come in so she doesn't have to go anywhere, and we really like that. My mom had actually worked here as a private caregiver many years ago, and decided that she wanted to move here when she retired.

Very happy with them. We have had a little problems with the care. They are very nice but they are not always available. My mom did her own laundry because she didn't think that they were coming, and it would help if she was reminded of the schedule.

First impression it looks like a real nice place, well maintained and clean. Patient seems very satisfied with his surroundings. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
