The first time we toured this property we liked it. The second time we went back and had lunch scheduled. The smell of urine hit us as soon as we walked in. The bathroom off the lobby was filthy. Something had seriously changed. The carpet in the hallways was dirty. It looked and smelled like a completely different place. We did not stay for lunch. Very disappointed as this property is very close to my home and would have been great to have Mom that close.

The Oaks is a great community to live. I had my grandfather as a resident in the skilled nursing community and they were able to give him the rehabilitation he needed and get him back to Orlando where he lived quickly, and back to the way her used to be. The views from the apartments are breathtaking. Every floor has a view of the water, and they have a nice dining room on the 15th floor where you overlook the water. They always have people around and socializing, and there always seems to be something going on. They are making a new garden area out back that is a great place for residents to sit and enjoy Florida weather.

Our mother needed assisted living after the passing of our father. It is one of the most important decision you will make. Our family was so impressed with Spring Haven right from the start. We visited quite a few places in the area but felt Spring Haven was the right fit. The staff is friendly, professional and always willing to help. Unfortunately, our mother never moved in due to health.

The nurse that took excellent care of me, Vickie, was a delight. She could not do enough for myself and the other Nancy next to the window. My late husband always wanted to come here as well.

What a wonderful, safe and caring facility. The people there are attentive, caring and keep me informed about any issues or questions. They accompanied my mom to the doctor and then called me to let me know how it went. They make sure she gets her meds and that she comes down for her meals. I feel really good about where she is especially when I live in NY and cannot be in FL. I recommend the Grande in Brooksville to everyone.

I live in the Princess Martha. I have a modest apartment with a view of Tampa Bay and downtown St. Petersburg. It is an elegant historic hotel. It is very well maintained and the administration is caring and attentive. The food is excellent and the wait staff is well trained and very attentive to the staff and their needs. They have 3 meals a day, light house keeping every two weeks. A very helpful and skillful janitorial staff. Feel very safe here and I am close to everything.

Food is creative & healthy - always fresh fruit Two happy hours a week included Many activities & field trips, movie theatre with ground lounge chairs (Complaints come mostly from plain food, picky eaters)

I am a retired military veteran. The Princess Martha is a fabulous place to live, where no two apartments are the same. The views of downtown St. Petersburg are to die for. The people and staff are friendly, and I never have to cook. We get served three meals a day - top-notched dining, activities, out of this world, dinner dolphin cruises, shopping trips, happy hours, talent shows, movie night, outting to the museums, what can I say, I'm home!

So far our experience with Spring Haven has been a very good one. It's a nice looking place, the people are friendly, and they just do a good job overall. We're entirely satisfied with the service.

The Grande has changed my moms entire outlook and has made her more independent. I and my brother are very happy with the entire staff. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful and considerate of all the residents. My mom is in independent living and it is the Best place for her. She is very happy there and has made a lot of friends and does more now than she ever did before. We tell everyone about The Grande. Great job to all.... Thank you all

At Lake Morton Plaza friendliness is 5+. Mom has some complicated issues and the staff are very willing to correct anything that needs correcting. They were checking her insulin too early and we mentioned it and they resolved it. The nursing staff they contract are excellent. They have really done a lot for her. Kudos to the staff at this facility. The food is good. The housekeeping is good. Anything we have experienced at this facility has either been really good or they have quickly resolved anything that hasn't.

We toured this facility. It is absolutely beautiful, but unless we can get some help from the VA. we can't afford it.

They were wonderful. He was in the hospital and could only be transferred to a facility, so they worked with me and got him in very quickly. They were real helpful with getting me into contact with the care services they have there and I have nothing but good things to say about them. It was awesome.

Our experience with Spring Haven Retirement has been excellent overall! They really made a great impression during our tour, the staff were quite well versed in all of the subjects I had questions about, and very eager to help.

I feel honored to live in a beautifully restored building, especially since I was here to watch the restoration -- accomplished with little negative impact on the residents. Of greater importance is the outstanding staff and their continual successful ability to meet the needs of the residents. the food is wonderful, always something for everyone. A major effort is made to know various special desires/tastes of the residence. Activities are varied and well attended. Medical services are available as needed and are excellent! A HAPPY home!

The Princess Martha offers an independent living arrangement with a unique flair which becomes evident the moment a visitor steps into the historic ambiance of the antique foyer, extending up over a wide staircase to the elegant high-ceilinged dining room. Three meals a day, selected from an inventive menu, being served by an accommodating young wait staff that aims to please. A diversified activity program provides the opportunity to pursue one's interests. As a satisfied resident I can recommend this community without reservations thanks to a competent management staff.

They have been great!! I don't have any complaints about food, or anything. They have their hands full with our loved one, and they are doing a wonderful job. I would definitely give them five stars.

I was in a pinch and time crunch to locate a facility for my Mom's husband. She had just passed away and he has dementia so it was imperative that he could not be at home. I had been given five leads by A Place for Mom; I checked out the others. Bayside Terrace was exactly what I was seeking and in a price range he could afford. The staff is typically responsive, the atmosphere friendly, bright, upbeat and clean and provided the sort of care that was needed.

My family is very happy with Bayside terrace. My father is getting great care by top notch staff !
