Had good talk with director; Stephen the chef stopped by while we were having lunch (delicious!) and talked -- very iterating guy. Favorably impressed with model apart. Walk-in closet and large, accessible bath room. Built in seat at end of shower. Names on waiting list.

I am considering this community. It is close to family and priced right, I think. I need more help to know how much it will really cost to live there with memory care.

I looked at a number of places within a certain budget and when I walked into Ashford Court I figured it was going to be out of our budget because it was such a nice large place. It has a large welcoming lobby, many other rooms for the tenants to go - library, craft room, game room and dining room. There are many activities and each day there seems to be transportation somewhere. My aunt just moved in this week so I will write back here after a few months to advise about her experience but so far she really seems to like it.

I really liked this one. All the places I have been are beautiful but this one might be the most affordable one with the needs being met. I hope I am reading things right. I need to now sit down and read the info.

We toured this place when we were looking into options for a loved one. It was a very nice looking place, and the staff were all very friendly, but it didn't suit our needs quite as well as others we had looked at. It was also more expensive than others we were considering.

It's working out great. They are pretty clean. They have trips to the casino about once a month. I ate with him and for the most part the food is very good, but you can tell when they are short staffed, they get maybe a salad and a breadstick, I think they could give them a little more even if they are short staffed that day. it's awesome, tasty, and they always get a dessert. They do a great job, I'm really happy he's there.

I thought it was very homey. I was surprised that my mother chose another place over this one but it was a personal preference. They made it into the final three options. They were lovely and clean. I would have been happy with them.

Nice place. Good range of options, ages of residents, and friendly personnel. This is a good possibility.

Very nice set up. Offers alot of amenities, but also meals and was not really looking for that extra.

Seems like best option. Rooms aren't as nice as Oakmont--but programs and memory care seem adequate.

There are some staff that are really good at what they do. However, they are having some staffing issues at this time. My loved one is very picky with food and does have some issues with it for time to time. They have not been able to have a lot of activities due to covid. They have Bingo and also had a time where my loved one was able to get her nails done.

We toured this community and it seemed like a friendly and inviting place.The staff was compassionate and nice very helpful and knowledgeable. The community appeared well cleaned and maintained. It appeared that they offer different events.

I was not very impressed with this community at all when I was looking for my mother. It is one thing to look nice out the outside but when the quality of care is poor that speaks volume to me. There was residents who where waiting for a while for any kind of help from there room buzzer and no one ended up coming. That was all I needed to know and they I realized that this place was not the right fit for my mother in the end decision.

Everything here has been good. The only problem we have been experiencing is getting my mother's medicaid earned out. Besides that, I have no issues really. The facility is nice and clean, the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents and placing my mother here seems to be a good decision.

My parents really seem to like the room and the people working there

The person that helped us at Brentmoore was [name removed]. She showed us around and was so great to my mom. She was one of the main reasons my mom selected Brentmoore. She made my mom feel so welcome. The day we moved in we found out that [name removed] was no longer there with zero explanation and the new person could not answer any of our move in questions. The new person is kind and wonderful but my mom was so upset that [name removed] was gone and it has been an on going issue for her. She felt like [name removed] was going to be someone she could talk to about things and Sarah was so assuring that she would be there to help my mom. I asked the other residents what happened to [name removed] and no one knows. Our move in day only one elevator was working so it cost us an extra $400 to move in because it was by the hour and the moving guys were having to share the elevator with the residents. They offered to move us a different day but the moving company was booked for over a week and I was only in town for the weekend to help her. My mom had not been a fan of the food. But to be fair she had one meal she didn't like and then didn't go back for weeks. She did have a salmon salad she said was excellent. There is not an area that she can just go and purchase food outside of the hours of the meals and she is missing the short windows to get food. The water has been turned off three separate days since she moved in a month and a half ago. She is not a fan of the water being off so often. I also know that the first 3 month are difficult to adjust too and she has had her house on the market and going back and forth. I'm hoping she settles in better once the house sells and she can focus all of her attention at her current place.

The person giving the tour was very informative and professional. The size of the units was generous compared to other places I looked at it this just wasn’t a good fit because there was no good places to walk or sit outdoors. The halls felt dark.
