Everything here has been good. The only problem we have been experiencing is getting my mother's medicaid earned out. Besides that, I have no issues really. The facility is nice and clean, the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents and placing my mother here seems to be a good decision.

My parents really seem to like the room and the people working there

We were greeted by the receptionist and then taken on a tour by Liz, the Administrator for Evergreen Estates. While everyone seemed very friendly, and the rooms were nice size, the facility itself seemed very old and needed updated as far as the decor and furniture. Even the “store” that the residents shop from was just a closet. The price is substantially less than other assisted living centers, but I was looking for something just a little more aesthetically inviting. I’m sure the care the residents receive is well within their expectations.

Things started out okay and we seemed to be happy. I would not recommend the assistant living facility to other people. I don't know about the regular senior living apartments. The residents in assisted living need assistance. And I didn't feel they had the patience or compassion that was necessary to help our person.

The visit was informative. Seeing other options that are available, the different rooms, the services available and the pricing for the services. I didn't particularly like the rooms I viewed, they didn't look that appealing or clean. The price for the room did appear woth it. This is just my opinion and someone else might view it as perfect for their loved one.

They need to improve on competency and improve work ethic. They do as little as possible and blame the residents for whatever is wrong. They never admit they are short staffed but yet have had a hiring sign out by the road for months. Director lies about policies to cover himself

Our experience as of 1 month ago was pretty darn negative. There is now a new maintenance person on board and the place is much cleaner, it was a mess at times--dirty carpet, sticky floors. It has been much more pleasant being there as of late. Hoping it lasts! The employee morale I believe is going to get better as well. Who wants to work in a stinky environment--no one! We've found that if we speak up about an issue we will be heard. The employees in memory care treat our mother very well and I believe it will get better!

The staff was nice and care was good. Could be cleaner carpet in room was very dirty , food was mediocre Unfortunately our loved one passed away please do not send anymore correspondence , nurses and office staff were great , she never went to any activities so don’t really know about those

Housekeeping has been spotty. They often do not show up on the assigned day. When the do show up, their focus seems to be in and out as quick as they can. Very short staffed. Residents are friendly, but it sees a ling time to assimilate into the groups for those who are a quiet. Ad ministration is very involved in the day-to-day life. They are seen around the building regularly. They participate in some activities( like karaoke) and address us by our names .Food has been a non-stop problem again, the food service is often short-handed and lack training The chefs are not chefs, but line workers promoted to fill in gaps. Not knowledgeable about diets or how to prepare items on their own menus. For example a menu item rarely is served the same every day.

I think overall for the price the facility is great especially if you are looking for something that is budget friendly. There were some issues w cleanliness that my mother observed. She went to wash their laundry and stated that the housekeeper took dirty sheets from another tenants room and threw them in the dryer for a few minutes then folded them back up as if they were clean but never actually washed them. Also there is no one working there at night and my parents were locked out at 4am in the middle of winter w no way into the building so they showed up at my house. They are partially responsible for this as they were given a key fob when they moved in there however my mother did not realize what it was for. She thought it was a life alert pendant so she never put it in her purse. I think for more active seniors that is not the best place. They also complained about the food selection and about the facility running out of food. I liked the idea of being able to eat w your family and I do feel like the employees were always very very polite, friendly and caring.

Food is hit-and-miss care is depending on who's on duty. That night friendliness was good. I say it's worth about [fee removed]. You do get a good room in a bathroom, but that's about it

The main reason we chose Sentinel Pointe was because the staff was extremely friendly. Although they are very friendly, they are having a difficult time finding enough staff to work in the dining room. Because of this, the wait times can be excessive. At this time, I would not recommend them to others. They seem to be getting overwhelmed.

All staff do a wonderful job within the constraints of their woefully in adequate budget. Annual rent increases cause us all great anxiety. In truths I don't know if I can afford to live here if rent increase continues. [date removed] it was twice what ss cost of living increase was.

The community was pleasant and friendly during my family member's stay. Staff is friendly. Price seemed relevant. The assisted living residents seemed happy and well entertained. Frequent staffing changes in the dementia unit had a downside. Also, that unit would benefit from a director and/or more nursing supervision. Many times when aides were busy there would be no one to keep an eye on the residents in the day room. The activities should be daily with memory specific things and more use of their porch & courtyard in nice weather. It would also be nice to see some brighter remodeling/decor and new furniture. Dementia residents deserve that. Overall , we had a good experience but would like to see the above things improve. The strong point was seeing that many staff members cared for their residents.

The staff, and people are nice. I picked this community because it's near my daughter, and the price is right. It's affordable , and the food is okay. The transporation services and activities are minimal.

Medical (?) staff seen yesterday afternoon wearing house shoes and winter coat, walking into kitchen. Tacky! Upgrade the medical staff, please! We have immature, inexperienced and unprofessional staff doling out medications to our loved ones!

This facility supported everything from fully functional Adult Living to needing 80% care round the clock. . We came in understanding that they had shuttle service to doctor and dialysis appointments available M-F 8:00-5:00. Due to new owners causing workers to quit, shuttle availability is sporadic. Activities are good, but the Activities Director, whom everyone liked, quit due to the way new owners handled certain situations. I would recommend the facility, but caution the person of their current performance vs the offerings they told us.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a beautiful community, the staff were very nice but due to our loved ones health it was not going to work out and the hallways seemed so long to navigate we were worried our loved one would get lost

Our family had an in person tour and the problem we had with Evergreen which is not the worst thing ever but it is quite dated. They also were not as serious about their covid protocols as the other communities were we had checked out.
