Good way to welcome mom who needed a respite while her condo unit was being fixed.

I am in sales so I don't like to be sold anything. The advisor who helped me was wonderful. She was always pleasant and stayed in touch without being a pain. She was right on about Brookdale. The staff is caring and patient even with the families. I just can't say enough nice thing about the staff. It is clean and very well kept.

Overall we're very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Fort Myers. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and I like that it is such a small tight-knit community. Everybody knows everybody else! For the most part the staff here is caring, friendly, and accommodating. I have had a few issues with some specific staff members, but in general they do a great job looking after my loved one. I do think they could work on their communication a bit, there have been times where I have not been notified when appointments or doctor visits have been rescheduled.

We were happy with Brookdale. We aren't there any more, but it doesn't have anything to do with the place. We didn't have any concerns during our interaction with them. They were very nice, and did a good job while she was there.

My mother in law needs full assistance but because she has a single room with her own bath, she also feels like she is living independently. So she has all the help she needs and still has privacy in her own room. She requires 24 hour oxygen. She has macular with limited sight and end stage pulmonary fibrosis. Having a sense of independence and community I believe has really given her a boost and stronger will to live.The staff is very helpful and responsive. It really has been a wonderful experience. Debra has been so great since our first meeting and continues to respond to anything we need immediately. My experience with the staff I have met has also been good. They are friendly and helpful. Having a nurse on staff 24 hours a day with all of my mother in laws needs is reassuring as well, even though she is with Hospice. For the level of care she receives for this price it really is incredible compared to other facilities she had been in previously for rehab. I highly recommend New Port Inn. Most importantly my Mother in law loves it there as well and that is a comfort for all of us to know she is safe, well cared for and comfortable. Not having the burden of all that pressure on the family is invaluable.

Extremely pleaseant and helful staff. They make you feel at home. My Dad was quite comfortable during his time there and he is a difficult person to please. I would highly recommend this community.

They treat the residents with dignity, kindness and compassion. Since I have moved my mother into the community, I have seen nothing but A+ service. Mom loves it and they treat her like we would care and love her! So glad that this home was recommended to us!

They are extremely friendly there-everyone from the director right down to cleaning staff. My mother has been happy there and they take good care of her.

My Aunt/my Godmother is at Sterling because The Residence at Timber Pines could no longer take care of her after she lost her leg due to her diabetes. I am very pleased to see the wonderful care she is given by all the nurses and aids at Sterling House. That place has really been a blessing to our family. The family atmosphere at Sterling House is wonderful. I am grateful that at this time in her life she has the highest quality of care that she needs and that she deserves.

Village Place is a beautiful place. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and the staff helpful. I'm so glad I chose this for my aunt!

When I placed my relative at Deerwood she was having to give up her own home and did not want to go. Thankfully, after meeting with them and seeing the room she thought she would like, we moved her in, and it was the best decision we could have made. She is happy, well fed and very well looked after. The place is spotless and the entire staff is friendly and knows everyone by name. Everyone I dealt with during this decision making time was professional and patient with my endless questions. My many thanks to Deborah at A Place for Mom for helping me so much in my search.

The memory care unit is secure, which is great! They are so good to her. They get them out of the room everyday so they can get some change of scenery. They have three different areas where they can socialize or play games. She's never in her room, she is always busy. They are willing to work with us on pricing. Every friday they take them out to a lunchbrunch, at a different restaurant. It has been a good experience.

My brother has been at Clare Bridge for a couple of weeks, and it is going very well for him. The facility is very homey, clean and bright, and the staff is genuinely welcoming and helpful. My brother has joined most of the activities offered to him and even made a new friend from within the resident group. I vistied several facilities in our general area, and Clare Bridge was without a doubt the best. When my brother moved in and in the days since then, I have never wished that we had selected another facility.

Didn't like the early close up time for visiting - was locked in a few times and was difficult to find a staffer to Let me out- Mom did not like assigned seating for food- rooms were spacious and well appointed, but not consistently well cleaned (not swept)by custodial staff, medical staff was pleasant and professional although a bit of confusion with first day medication, as for food and activities- my Mom had a poor attitude because she resented being in the respite stay and missed her home , so she refused to participate

My mother has been treated very well by the staff. We liked the size of her shared room. Unfortunately we have had to enter her into hospice so we may be moving her from there so she can be closer to us in our final days.

It's been a very good experience overall so far, my only 2 concerns/comments is that the floors are always very sticky and look dirty, and I can never seem to find the nurse on duty whenever I am there. I bring in all of my father's medication's from the VA because they are shipped to my house, and the nurse is never in the nurses station or around seemingly. Other than that, I will say that I love [name removed] the Nursing Director, she's always been super helpful and very responsive.

[name removed] did a great job of touring the place with my sister, [name removed], who did the touring. In her notes to me, she noted that the staff was nice and the spaces were good, but the units were on the small side. She did note that lighting was an issue and it looked like the carpets needed replacing. One thing we do know is this property had changed from [community removed] to Hallowstone, so maybe those renovations are in the plans.

Aging facility; smelly not perfect rooms that were quoted move in ready. Friendly residents and staff. Staff work together like a family getting the job done, but spread how thin.

Belvedere had the basics for your loved one. The staff was pleasant. Our greeter did a good job telling us about what Belvedere had to offer. I am still looking. Thank you.

The facility has changed hands and is now called Hallowstone. This change has been a little bit challenging. However, my sister is still happy here. There has been some changes to staff as well. The facility is clean and more people have been moving in, which is a good sign too.
