My brother has resided at Hampton Manor Belleview due to dementia for a couple months. He has been well taken care of. The staff is very attentive, caring, and very helpful to the family. The director and staff has experience dealing with people with this disease, which can be difficult. They have the patience and understanding. Thank you for all you do!!!

Everybody is so kind, so nice and helpful. The are encouraging and caring to all the residents. It is kept very nicely clean and taken care of. She has a studio apartment they will come in weekly to clean. It has a nice covered patio area with some raised flower beds. Mom isn't to happy with the food she would like more fresh fruits and vegetables. She is a very social person so she enjoys all the daily activities. You have to be private care for 2 years then they will accept the elderly waiver. They also say they can't give me a breakdown of services and the cost which I'm not sure why. I would recommend this community.

We moved my aunt into HMD about 1 l/2 years ago. Of course at age 95 l/2 she was not happy the first few months. All of the staff made her feel at home and helped her work through the move and new chapter in her life. She loved sitting out side on the front porch and in the front area near the fireplace. Of course she loved having a cookie and a cup of coffee. She just passed away last week at the age of 97 and I am so very grateful to the staff and management at HMD. They are all family to us. THANKS for all you did!

This is a nice community. The staff are nice and some of the staff are not as helpful as we have requested. We have found that some of the staff is not helping as asked. The community is very clean and maintained. The menu is appealing. They do offer activities for the residents that want to participate We would suggest that other familes tour this community for the care of a loved one.

We are only in for one week now but everything seems to be going smoothly. Personnel are very friendly and accommodating. Our brother-in-law seems very comfortable there. [Removed]

My first impression was open, light, and residents were alert and curious. The staff are upbeat, hard working and engage in many different facets of resident care. At meal times all staff participate in the dining room from pouring coffee, juices and water to serving the meals at the tables. After the meal, walkers are redistributed to residents and those that require it are escorted. The community calendar is full of a variety of stimulating events. With a max of 40 residents, In two weeks, Mom is adjusting quickly and is regaining her confidence. She feels safe and interested in her new home. I can sigh with relief.

The staff and the food at Brookdale are excellent. I think they could use a few more activities geared towards the male residents. I also think that the staff could be a little more encouraging. The community is clean and well taken care of. This community is very expensive, however they are very good.

I was unsuccessful in getting my mother in law moved to Brookdale in Inver Grove Heights, however, I have nothing but praise for their people and facility. I dropped in there frequently during the month I was attempting to get her to move from Indianna to Mn. The staff, all of them , were so helpful and friendly. The residents were engaged in activities and also talkative. I have to say the meals smelled great and my adult son on leaving after looking at the facility said" Boy, grandma is really missing out , everybody in there is sitting down for lunch and laughing and talking and the food looks good too!" Penny and Lyndsay were very patient with me listening to all my travails and offering so much support. I have not altogether given up on getting her up here to be with her only family; trying to be proactive did not work so now we wait for something to happen to force a move. Hopefully the facility will have room for her when that happens.

Good way to welcome mom who needed a respite while her condo unit was being fixed.

I am in sales so I don't like to be sold anything. The advisor who helped me was wonderful. She was always pleasant and stayed in touch without being a pain. She was right on about Brookdale. The staff is caring and patient even with the families. I just can't say enough nice thing about the staff. It is clean and very well kept.

Overall we're very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Fort Myers. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and I like that it is such a small tight-knit community. Everybody knows everybody else! For the most part the staff here is caring, friendly, and accommodating. I have had a few issues with some specific staff members, but in general they do a great job looking after my loved one. I do think they could work on their communication a bit, there have been times where I have not been notified when appointments or doctor visits have been rescheduled.

We were happy with Brookdale. We aren't there any more, but it doesn't have anything to do with the place. We didn't have any concerns during our interaction with them. They were very nice, and did a good job while she was there.

Extremely pleaseant and helful staff. They make you feel at home. My Dad was quite comfortable during his time there and he is a difficult person to please. I would highly recommend this community.

They treat the residents with dignity, kindness and compassion. Since I have moved my mother into the community, I have seen nothing but A+ service. Mom loves it and they treat her like we would care and love her! So glad that this home was recommended to us!

My Aunt/my Godmother is at Sterling because The Residence at Timber Pines could no longer take care of her after she lost her leg due to her diabetes. I am very pleased to see the wonderful care she is given by all the nurses and aids at Sterling House. That place has really been a blessing to our family. The family atmosphere at Sterling House is wonderful. I am grateful that at this time in her life she has the highest quality of care that she needs and that she deserves.

When I placed my relative at Deerwood she was having to give up her own home and did not want to go. Thankfully, after meeting with them and seeing the room she thought she would like, we moved her in, and it was the best decision we could have made. She is happy, well fed and very well looked after. The place is spotless and the entire staff is friendly and knows everyone by name. Everyone I dealt with during this decision making time was professional and patient with my endless questions. My many thanks to Deborah at A Place for Mom for helping me so much in my search.

My brother has been at Clare Bridge for a couple of weeks, and it is going very well for him. The facility is very homey, clean and bright, and the staff is genuinely welcoming and helpful. My brother has joined most of the activities offered to him and even made a new friend from within the resident group. I vistied several facilities in our general area, and Clare Bridge was without a doubt the best. When my brother moved in and in the days since then, I have never wished that we had selected another facility.

Overall good, but there is always room for improvement. Cleanliness could be better. My mom is very happy but she doesn't require a lot of care. I would recommend it to others.

We really liked the facility because there's only 19 rooms, the kitchen is open, the residents can chat while they're cooking, and she mostly cooks from scratch, their choice of breakfast. So, it feels more like a cozy home.
