Nice place but didn’t feel person we spoke with was forthcoming. Did not provide after the meeting the information she promised she would during the meeting. Nice place but felt like it would be too much like a business and not like a home.

We did not see this place. It is a sister facility to [removed] and takes medicaid patients ([removed] does not.) so good to keep in mind in the eventuality that [name removed] runs out of money.

Pleasant but I did not like the idea of being on the 3rd floor. Not enough outdoor access up there for sitting and enjoying outside. Did not meet any staff just the tour guide

Darkly decorated. Consistent smell of deodorizer throughout the building. Room available was too far away from elevator. Very close to where I live. More expensive for less sq footage.One bedroom with den available. However, it is an apartment further from our dining room. No in unit laundry. Indoor parking included

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my mother. It is a nice-looking, clean facility but a little more expensive than other places. The person who showed us around was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I ultimately decided to select a facility that was closer to me. If you tour here, ask lots of questions about the actual workings behind the facade.

This facility has been better than other places. The food is unfortunately the exact same at every facility. We have hotdogs for lunch then hotdogs and beans for dinner. The quality of the food is horrible. As for the rest of it, they try the best they can do. It’s better than most but they’re all awful.

We toured the Amethyst Gardens and I don't know if it was just a bad day or what. We did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the management who showed us around the facility. Most of the tours we had in different communities invited us to lunch after the tour but she just stood there and looked at us. It did not smell very clean. Hopefully, it was just a bad day. It was not the right fit for us.

We had a loved one that was here. The rooms here are small and they make you feel like a number and no personal care. The menu needs improvements. The staff did not take into consideration on serving a meal when it is not required after being ill. A tour is suggested of this community.

Limited parking - mostly street parking which is limited to only three hours only during the day. There are smells I didn't like and some of them are too strong. The library areas were small and the common room areas were small. There were no walkable shops or entertainment. Had a nice room with a large bathroom for ADA access. Nice modern look. Nice furniture in the common room. Marketing person will call me next week to discuss details.

I don't like it here personally. The place is not for me. It is not maintained very well, and neither is my apartment. There are other residents here who love it, but I personally do not.

We toured this community when looking for a place for my mother.When you first walk in it's very large and hotel like. They have many formal areas but it was too big and I felt it would be too overwhelming for my mother. I didn't like that there wasn't a lot of interaction between the residents.The staff was very friendly during the tour but we ultimately decided on another community in the area.

We tour the community and we like the staff that was able to answer the questions of the care. This is not what we were looking for at the time. We found the room to be on the second floor and we thought it would be too far for her. We would recommend this community for other

When I went into the Amethyst Arbors for my tour, I realized that there was one section for the residents that were severely ill with Alzheimer's. The section was very creepy, in the dining room, the table was one of those like picnic tables with no table cloth. In the rooms, there was some fold up chairs with little furniture, and although the rooms were nice, it was not a place where I would put my mother.

It was time for my parents to be in a community and it was an adjustment for them but they are doing pretty well. WE found that there is not as much activities and things to do for my parents. People are not talking with them and they staff say they cant force them to do activities. The residents seem to be farther than my parents. However they are getting good care and they love the food. We are just disappointed in the involvement.

Seems very nice and is least expensive of the places we visited.

This community is nice. But we are not happy with some of the wellness care. The staff has not been as friendly with my mom. My mom is getting her meds, They are not giving us alot of information when we have questions from the wellness center. At times the staff has seemed to be rude. They are giving her activities to participate in. Te staff is very caring with the activities . I would recommend this only for theindependent living.

Amethyst Gardens offers many daily activities for my mom to participate in. They schedule trips outside of the community for the residents. My mom is not a fan of the food offered because nothing is like homemade food. The cleaning staff could improve by moving chairs and small items when cleaning the floors and dusting. A Place for Mom came to the rescue immediately!

My tour of this facility was fine. The community appeared to be well maintained from what I saw. The staff was kind and courteous. Everybody was wonderful. The problem was that my parent would live in the assisted living portion of the community. They would have to hire some extra care for my mother memory care. My father didn't like the sound of that. It is a good community with wonderful people.
