Communication with families is poor. There was a recent outbreak of Covid that we only heard about from my loved one. Once we asked, there was little info shared. As my loved one was one who was positive with Covid, we had to ask the RN staff to please check on her and we ended up taking her to the ER as she became dehydrated. I'm not sure if I could recommend them as I don't know how they compare to other similar priced facilities.

Against mom's wishes my brother moved her from another facility. Her room was nice and clean. We did notice one time that there was a large puddle of water in the dining room, mentioned it to staff and was told that someone would clean it. An hour later the puddle was still there and the staff I spoke to was mopping it. My mom was always at the same dining table. When table cloths were removed we noticed that her table looked like something that had been stored in an unheated, moldy garage. Her leftover food was left on the table for over an hour. Initial visit was during a supper. Aides were sitting around, one on the counter in the open staff area. Mom had few teeth, food should have been cut for her, instead it was left uncut which made chewing very difficult for her. She was in her 90s. Initially staff seemed hostile to us, only by being gracious to them did they treat us well, one staff spied on us, grateful to nurse who helped us get our mail to mom-brother kept mail f

Our family had an in person tour and it took them awhile to respond back to us about touring the facility. The facility itself was a little to big and overwhelming but that is also our opinion based.

Chandler is a nice place, but they charge for every little thing. (Ex. Billed for a Band-Aid, billed for confirming a bruise was healed, etc.) Their response time to my parent's needs is not the best. Timing for my mom's meds at night is supposed to be around 8pm. Sometimes she doesn't get them till after 11pm. I do think they're short staffed. When my mom fell and fractured her ribs, there was minimal communication from Chandler to me. I needed to keep contacting the hospital to find out when my mom would be released and how she would be transported. Also, It would be nice if someone/the staff engaged with its residents more, made them aware of the activities going on, and encouraged their participation

Autumn Glen was nice, the person that we toured with was also very kind. Just seemed older (even though it's not of much), darker, etc.

When we were looking, the main criteria was that the facility accepted elderly waiver - that was one of the biggest deciding factors. They said they did after 2 years of private pay. We signed the lease and I wanted to get more information on it. I called and they said they had no availability - so if money runs out and there are no openings we would have to move her again. That is a very big deal and it felt like a bait and switch to us. They never told us there were only limited spots available and that they were full. I think they could have communicated that to us better.

We had a very nice tour at Garden Ridge But it was a little more expensive than other places we looked at. And it was too big. It felt too much like an institution and not enough like a home.

They seemed to be very friendly. It was a nice place, but my family picked another place, for my loved one.

Chandler Place just seemed like it was WAY too big for my loved one to feel comfortable and receive enough attention.

I think the staff is not trained well and unprofessional. There is lack of knowledge. The sales rep was crude. The assessment taker didn't communicate with family and was not personable. The maintenance team didn't do what they were supposed to do. The medication for my loved one wasn't checked for three days after moving in. It took another day and a care meeting to get things resolved. The business manager, [name removed], was fantastic.

They give you a good speech before you come in, and once you are in it's a different story. The food is horrible. The food has a lot of carbs and fats in it. The new menu is horrible as well. They don't seem to be accommodating for dietary restrictions. It seems like they pass the buck when they can. They are short staffed, and there is hardly anyone in the dining room.

They really try and sell the community to you. There are a lot of things that you pay for additionally that was presented as part of the monthly fee. It's not as good as what they made it out to be, such as cleaning and changing the linens. There has been items stolen from my loved one. The community works with hospice; however, we are relying more on hospice than the community. We thought there would be more care from the community than they provide. It would be nice to have the same the answer from all staff. Not all the staff are LVN.

I was pretty pleased with this community, although I do feel like they could have handled the pandemic better. They started serving the residents in their rooms and this causes food quality to go down. Room sizes are nice they had a 2 bedroom. After we get back to normal I would recommend this facility

Due to COVID we have not been able to visit since March, and they have had no activities because of it. Our loved one was first in assisted living and that was great, and now he has been moved to memory care. Unfortunately due to COVID we have not been able to see his new room.

They are doing construction across the street that will last for years. So it is loud and messy. The pool is not usable for residents. The food is terrible. The room sizes are a little bit bigger than average.

Would be okay but I didn't feel a great vibe. Facility is really spread out. Floors in common areas and halls were in desperate need if cleaning. Model room was beautiful, but actual rooms available were not nearly on the same level. Outdated appliances and interior. Tour guide said she does not eat the food but it is getting better. Facility is also going through a management company change.

Totally INDEPENDENT LIVING.....no Assisted living. Would have to move to another facility if needed more attention. 4.5 stars out of only 12 reviews. $2980 for 1 bedroom.

This is nice but very dated. Our tour guide was a bit disorganized but we saw what we needed to see.

Although the community was nice, I left there after the tour feeling as though we had been rushed through the tour. Prices were a bit on the higher side for us but all in all the units were nice.
