The overall staff is very friendly and pretty attentive. My biggest concern is the medical attention. My loved one is in the independent living side. And although they do say that they have 24-hour nursing on-site, they outsource the physicians. The person that comes in to see my loved one is a PA (physicians assistant), and they've switched the PAs. Although there is a portal for families to access medical information, the PA does not regularly keep up on it. So I feel like I have to chase them to find out medical information, which is upsetting. You place a loved one believing they're going to get the right medical care. You don't just want them to have friends. You want them to be well cared for. And they aren't forthcoming in the manner I would have hoped. That being said, if I do put in calls to find out the information, they are receptive and do follow through. My loved one is getting three square meals a day, and they do her laundry. The other residents are friendly, and she has made friends. And ultimately I do feel comfortable that she is being cared for.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was great and the location was perfect. However, the laundry was not included in the service and we know this was going to be a point of contention for our loved one.

Everybody here was very pleasant to work with and it was very adequate for my brother. This was one of the only facilities that is smoking friendly. Most of the rooms here have balconies from what I saw. Most people who lived here needed quite a bit of care and this is an independent living community. The turnover here was pretty high while I was here, so I think that is a sign a lot of people were not happy. In general, it certainly served my brothers needs. I talk to people who are still here and they have had a remarkably few COVID cases, so it seems well managed and contained and I am very impressed by that. They do have a nice, woodsy outside area to walk in the back of the facility, so it does not feel like an urban environment. When looking at The Regency House I would want others to know that there is not security cameras and at night there is no staff members. They also have physical therapy on site.

My dad lives on the nursing facility floor, the current nurse he has now is really great. He doesn't get the chance to participate in the activities provide, but the activities coordinator is fantastic. The overall community does offer a variety of activities. Something that really stood out to us was the floor plan, the rooms provided are decent size. The food there is good. The front desk employees sometime seems to be a little be "slighty". Depending on who you talk to, one seems to be very on top of things, where the other two seems very flustered.

I do not live there myself , but a friend does. She is happy with everything accept the food. It is not always a pleasant experience. Joining her for Easter I see why. I found it to be of poor quality and just plain yuk. She had beef which was as tough as shoe leather. The place appears to be clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. My friend has been enjoying the activities, and find them a good experience. There seems to be an all around good atmosphere for someone to be.

Overall satisfied / some intermittent problems with care givers response time to calls and cleaning apartment. Very friendly caring staff! Food could be better

pe0ple are nice and they try very hard to make people feel good. I do think they need more people working and the food needs alittle more creativeness

The staff and residents are friendly. The facility has activities that help the residents do more things outside their apartments. The facility has a walkway where residents can enjoy walking and exercising. My only suggestion is that the food served should be a more balanced, healthy meal with less salt and sugar to help improve the residents' health and nutrition.

I looked at Silver Creek when I was looking for a place for my loved one, and I thought that this community was a really lovely place. However, we had seen another community previously that we liked better and had more amenities that would fit my loved one.

I have recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. They had a great activity program as well as dinning experience for the residents. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision.

I was not as impressed with the memory care area of this community as I was with the community we chose. The staff we met were nice and they seem to offer some nice amenities. I just didn't feel this community would work for my loved one.

We liked this community and thought it was a little nicer than some of the others we looked at. This is an older clean community and I just did not think mom would be happy here. The hallways reminded me of a hospital. The people I met were nice and I would say this community might be worth a look.

My mother has lived in Smoky Springs for 2 years and has enjoyed it very much. The staff turnover in the food and beverage department is high. The food quality and service is therefore inconsistent. At times it is so great and at other times, it is hard for my mother to eat it. This is totally independent living, with 2 caregiver companies on site which is used by quite a few residents. There has been some management turnover as well, which leads to additional issues and problems with housekeeping, food & beverage and overall management. My mother is relocating after 2 years as she has reached the point of needing full assisted living.

Beautiful Community many activites and wonderful caring staff.

We do like this community. The staff are good and helpful. What really bothers me is that they do not have a steady chef or nutritionist that comes in. Veggies out of a can are salty and not nutritious. We were told when we moved in that we would be able to meet with the chef and tell them what we like and that never happened. Also there management is always changing. They offer transportation if you need it. They have activities, but they tend to cancel them often.

I was a little concerned about the lack of security they had in this community, they had multiple doors that lead to the courtyard with no alarm and only had one little lock. The dinning experience was pleasant as well as the variety of meals they provided there residents

The staff was really informative and welcoming on my tour. The community was too aged and outdated for my liking. It needs a lot of improvement and updating in the bedrooms as well as the dinning rooms.

It is still a work in progress for my mother here at this community. I do have a few concerns, but they are working with me. I would say the cleanliness of the community could use some improvement. It took them six weeks to clean her toilet, and I had to ask them. The staff for the most part are helpful and kind. I'am paying for my mother to receive some extra care, and I would like for her to get the best care possible. Overall it is a good community, and they are trying their best. For the right person I would recommend this community.

Manager was new and had to read the contract with me as he had never seen it before. Phone service is very limited and I still have not resolved. It is very clean and a very nice atmosphere. Staff is friendly helpful and will do anything you ask..
