What we like about Anthology is the food, the meals are good and the staff are friendly. However they need a lot of improvement with their organization within the administrative team. The nursing staff could have better communication, we had some issues with our loved one not receiving medication at the correct time there could be better training. We also had big problems when it comes to the activities.

The community is pretty clean. For the most part, the care services is pretty good. My loved one does not really like the food. Overall, communication with family and the staff is good. They help to make the stay there, for the residents more pleasant. The staff could be more responsive.

I was not very impressed with Laurel Glen during our tour. The facility looked very institutional, it just had that typical nursing home "feel" when you walked in.

Our loved one was there for [dates removed] for respite care and with it being a newer facility it was really nice and super clean so that was a plus. However where most of our complaints come is directed towards to executive director. Whenever we would reach out via text, phone call or email with any questions o concerns we rarely ever received a response back.

Our tour at Holiday River's Edge was great. It was just not the place for my mom. They didn't have the personal outdoor space we felt was necessary for her. And it was also an older facility.

The community was more expensive than we wanted. It had a locked memory care unit, and it didn't have a homey feel to it.

This was a larger community with lots of activities.

It was a little more expensive than I was anticipating it to be. However, my loved one was comfortable here. The staff were okay to work with if I had questions or concerns. There were times I had to have things corrected on the billing statement. Medication management, dressing and bathing assistance are some of the care the community offered my loved one. The room, utilities, care, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, and changing of linens were included in the monthly rate.

I like that this community is close to us so that we are able to see our loved one. We have had some issues with some of the care and things that have happen but overall we have been pretty satisfied. They do have activities however my loved one is going through things and does not have very much interest in this. She does however, do things that she is capable of doing.

River's Edge is a great facility, they are just having some upper management staffing issues. The wait staff and the people who clean the rooms have been so kind and helpful. The facility itself is also very beautiful. They did just get bought out by someone and supposedly they have just hired a new executive director, so we are hoping to see some improvements. It really is a great place if they can getting the upper management figured out.

I thought that Smoky Springs looked old and tired. I was looking for something bright and new.

While the blake us a very nice place the service is lacking, constantly short handed and the dinning is virtually inedible. They only have one handy man for the entire facility and the PAs are often short handed, we were told there would always be 4 PAs on staff, on a good day you might have 2. They recently raised the rent by $380 and yet nothing has improved.

They do not get to the repairs as fast as they should, I think they opened too soon and the problems were not all sorted out yet. There is no heat in the bathrooms, there is no water pressure, and her cabinet doors in the bathroom are not fixed. They definitely need some improvements.

Due to the staffing shortage the CNA's are helping cooking the meals and serving the meals to the residents, so sometimes when our loved one pushes the button for assistance it will take them awhile to come help. However, we are there a few times a week and the staff are just lovely, and you can tell even being over worked they are trying their best. We do wish there was more of a stimulating environment.

At first our experience would of been 5 stars, however after moving our loved one in and after a few months have passed we are having some issues. They were very responsive in the beginning and very nice when you spoke with them in person, however right now it is hard to get a clear picture of what is going on. The communication at times is lacking and they have all these great ideas and promises but no follow through.

It is a beautiful facility but I just did not feel as welcomed as I did at the facility that we chose. It is too big for my friend, from the room to the dining room is a far walk.

The common areas are very clean, but they do not clean the apartments very well, we have to go clean after them. We are having some issues getting medications straightened out and that has been rough, it is really hard to get a hold of anyone. The staff here are so friendly and they make good efforts. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents to participate in. I would recommend to others looking, when you walk in you get a really good feeling. The facility itself is beautiful and the apartment is great.

There is a lack of transportation at the facility to and from appointments which is a concern. The community is kept very neat and clean I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

This was a nice facility but I do not think this location is a good fix for our family. I lost my diamond necklace at this facility. I called [name removed] as soon as i noticed it missing, he didn’t find it. If my mother lived here every time i would visit i would have negative thoughts of my necklace.

Location is beautiful at the Fountains and the price is reasonable considering what you are offering. I am very concerned about the elevator situation and the lack of availability to residents. Two persons allowed in a elevator at a time and one elevator not working is serious problem especially with the number of floors you have and many of the residents unable to do the stairs. The food is not just poor in many cases it is not eatable and people are buying food as a back-up. I question why there are only a few people using the dining room, when allowed, where the food is somewhat better. Possibly its because of elevator situation .These are not only health issue, but safety as well. When can we expect these items to be corrected. I am fully aware that you are operating at a disadvantage due to the pandemic.
