I am very happy, everyone is helpful. It's really a friendly place. They have a physical therapy department, so I don't have to leave the building. The food has improved. The activities is really good. The value for money is good I picked this community because of the location, and it was a familiar area.

Stunning facility, friendly residents, good menu variety....HR is challenged to hire long term staff, as are most businesses currently.

The building is clean, but my friends room could be cleaner. The food is okay, and there is no complaints. We picked because it was closer to my house. They need to improve on hiring more staff. I would recommend to other families.

My loved one was there a short period of time. The food was good. They had a lot of activites. We picked this community, because it was convient, there was an opening and they had a good reputaion. They need to offer more care for the residents. They did not have back-up when the nurse was out. They were also very slow about reconciling billing issues. In addition, A Place for Mom was a lifesaver.

I toured this community and it was nice! A bit newer than several others in the area.

Seemed very nice but the biggest factor was the cost of the place.

I would tell others looking into Sunrise of Webb Gin for their loved ones to get medications, pharmacy and ot evaluation done in advance. Also bath and cleaning schedules. Visit often and stay awhile the first couple of weeks. You can adjust needs based on your loved ones needs. This is a great place, but just like anywhere else you need to be involved.

We toured with Everlan of Clemson and had a nice experience. The reason we did not choose this facility was because they only offer independent living. Our loved one was already living in independent living and we thought it would be best to move her to a facility that offered more types of care.

It seemed to be a good community! Smokey springs would probably have been my second choice for my loved one.

It was a great tour, nice new facility, and a large operating company. The director of nursing did not follow up on my questions, which was a big red flag.

The facility itself is clean. The food is good. Nice atmosphere. They do offer transportation, but it's limited and we were not told that. My loved one is a veteran and his appointments are at the VA. The facility says that is too far, so we have to make other arrangements for him to get to all of his VA appointments. One thing they really need to improve on is their knowledge of VA benefits and how they work. We asked them about it specifically, this being our first experience with using the Aid and Attendance benefits, and trusted their guidance on it. They basically told us that it's easier to utilize the benefits when a resident is in the facility versus trying to organize it prior to moving in. So they seemed to rush the process with the promise that the benefits would kick in and cover the monthly cost. They assured us that they accepted the full Aid and Attendance benefits and that his set amount for that and his social security would all be applied to his monthly rent. They presented the amounts as whole amounts and never ever mentioned anything about it being a supplement. We didn't know that the Aid and Attendance benefit is a supplement and not a set dollar amount guarantee. Even our VA rep told us she was surprised that it was handled this way and presented the way it was to us. We were absolutely misinformed and she agreed. So, either the facility didn't know the facts or they deceived us to get us in there. If they didn't know, they definitely need to get educated on Aid and Attendance before making promises to people and presenting them with amounts that are absolutely inaccurate. If they did know and deceived us, that's a whole other issue. Either way it wasn't handled correctly and now we're stuck and scrambling to find a way to cover huge costs that we didn't expect and can't easily cover. This is unacceptable and I don't want others to go through what we're going through right now. I would never recommend this facility.

It's a good option. The place is a little bit dated and could use some work. But all in all, it's a good place and meets basic needs.

I toured this facility and really liked it. It was very nice and clean, staff was friendly, and the lady that we worked with was very nice. Based off of our tour, I would recommend them!

This was actually my second pick. The satff and residents seemed to be happy. It was a nice facility. It was smaller and did not offer gradual care. They did not offer a variety of activities for my loved one.

Holiday Deepwood Estates is great, the community as a whole is very nice. The meals and kitchen is great, our loved ones room is nice but occasionally house keeping could come more often. The biggest take back we face is just the price and the care

Friendliness of the staff is 5 stars especially the concierge staff. The policies regarding covid were not clear to start with but are getting better now. As reported by the residents the meals are quite good. Not to sure about the activities since our residents does not participate in them.

We looked at a few other places and decided on Anthology of Charlottesville because of the overall appearance of the place. It is a brand new building and it looks more like a nice resort or hotel rather than a senior living facility. I would recommend Anthology to others.

The staff is very nice and do their best to be attentive. It's a pretty decent place. The meals I've had were tasty. My mom seems to enjoy it but has complained about a few things, some of which no one has any control over, mostly other occupants.

I would say it must be recalled that AT is a brand new facility. The staff has been very friendly and concerned but as a new facility it takes time to settle onto the routines that more established groups display. My mother has a very attractive and comfortable apartment and the staff is very kind. In all a most happy experience. Opinions are cheap in reality. The fact is these folks have worked hard to get up to speed and genuinely care for their clients. They have been cooperative and accommodating for the most part. Most issues that have arisen can be attributed to working to find the right support and instituting procedure.
