It was Great! We really have nothing bad to say but that the food is not that good. Overall it is perfect. The managers are really kind and friendly.

The entire process was emotional, of course, however everyone at Haywood Estates always treated us like family. They did not have to "sell" anything....we just experienced it. It was very hard to see my mother have to give up her home, but my family and I knew it was the best decision. Our only regret is that we didn't follow through with it sooner. We are so relieved and know she is in a safe place, getting excellent food and being more social than she was before.

We selected Smokey Springs above all others for my mother. The staff is extremely friendly as are the residents. My wife an I actually asked if WE could move in as well we liked it so much! Although my mother was only there for three months before her passing, she loved living there from day one. The meals were great, and the activities are fun, engaging and there are a lot to choose from! We still visit some of the residents there because of the relationships that were formed over a short period of time. My wife and I looked at several facilities in and around Atlanta as well as several in TN and we couldn't find anything that had as much to offer for an affordable price as Smokey Springs. We highly recommend Smokey Springs to anyone that is looking for clean, well staffed facility for their loved one.

We toured The Fairmont last week. We were happily surprised at how clean and happy the residents were. My dad had several residents sit with him during the complimentary meal. This was really helpful as they seemed so happy and had been living there 6 years. I cant wait for my dad to sell his home in Phoenix so he can be down the street from us! We signed a lease with a move-in in March. Christopher (manager) is what really makes it, he was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Beautiful community and a great option for anyone looking for a clean, modern and welcoming facility. My Mother requires more of the Assisted living instead of Independent living.

The staff is so nice at The Fairmont. I was all alone for Christmas and they invited me to spend Christmas with them. I made some new friends with Anne and Pat. I was so happy they thought of me or I would have been all alone.

The food is amazing!

Haywood Estates is fabulous! I would recommend anyone with a functioning senior to go there. It is an independent place, but they have all the bells and whistles there, and you can add it if you need it. It is fabulous!

They have been treating my mother with respect, and I am very pleased to see that. Mom seems to be very happy. There has been a little lack of communication with the billing. A couple of things have changed without me being notified first. When I brought this up though they were willing to help and work with me.

Mom needs medical care 24/7 so it wasn't a good fit. I wish we had discovered this place when mom was still independent. The travel program was pretty cool.

We had never toured a retirement community. Everyone was involved in different activities. Loved it but they had a waiting list and we needed something fast. Mom was living with us and not happy or eating well. Had a meal and loved the food. Would recommend.

My mom is in The Fairmont. I like it overall. I like what it provides for the money. It is a nice place in a nice area, and it meets her needs. Everything is fine. It is very catering. It is like a home community. The key staff lives on site. They are there 24/7, and they go out of their way to accommodate the residents and make you feel you're in like a real community home. They provide very personalized service. They assign a mentor to each newcomer to the facility to help people acclimate and settle in. They introduce them to people and help them get used to the activities and show them around. I have no complaints whatsoever. They are over and above. We ordered a new TV for my mom, and when my sister went there to install it and hook up the cable, one of guys in the office did that for her. They do everything, and they are very accommodating. It is a reasonable and affordable place.

Laurel Grove is a bit pricey, but then I know most places like this are as well, and for the value it is good, as they definitely go above and beyond to provide quality service. Everybody complains about the food. They had a chef they got rid of and hired another, but the new one is really not any better. The overall dining experience is very nice, but the food (according to what I have heard from some residents) They are very thorough and communicate everything to us each step of the way very well.

My husband was never able to really get acclimated. I do feel that they could have checked up on my husband a little more often. They do in house training, and I don't think a lot of the care-givers are as well-versed as I would like them to be. That said, it is a very clean and friendly place and overall I would give them a good rating. It was a great choice for me, it's just that he declined so fast and just recently passed away at the time of this writing.

Mom loves the activity director Lisa she is always doing something fun!!! Managers are very outgoing and really have a heart for seniors. **Waiting list to get in so that was kinda of a challenge at first... worth the wait.. MOM Happy :-)

I was was really impressed with our tour. The managers were so helpful Chris showed me around the community. I really enjoyed being able to visit with residents whom we had lunch with. It was so much more than we were thinking. They are 100% full so it takes about two months to be able to get an apartment. The executive Chef Kevin is amazing he came to our table and shared the different menu choices! Order from a menu with 5 choices, waiters and waitresses in tux shirts... fine dinning at its best. Meals are included in rent. **Highly recommend

We're very happy with how things have gone at Sunrise of Decatur! I really appreciate that they really seem to genuinely care about each resident as an individual. They don't have a "formula" for care that they just apply to everyone, they really try to find what works best for each resident. The facility itself is very nice looking, and always well kept, and the staff are all very friendly!

My loved one lived here for a number of years before we eventually had to relocate him due to increasing care needs. I really thought they did an excellent job here, it is a very nice community for independent seniors! The facility itself is beautiful, and everyone here was always very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!
