The staff caring for the residents are excellent...can't say enough. The administration staff is less so, but they are brand new. The move in and communication with admin staff had some issues. The food is adequate, but not much more. Pretty much what we've experienced elsewhere...industrial food! I would highly recommend Oaks at Aiken. By far the best we've experienced.

I highly recommend adding Dogwood Terrace to the top of your list. The community is great and fills almost every need but the staff's engagement and knowledge puts them at the top of ours. Looking forward to next our visit with family.

First impression is warm and welcoming. Resident pup Mugsy greets visitors and graciously accepts pets. Director of Sales [name removed] exudes a caring attitude and genuinely cares about finding a good fit for prospective residents. Not sure if this will ultimately be the final choice for us but [name removed] is a major contributing factor to keeping it on our list for consideration.

A warm and caring environment that makes residents feel at home. Staff are professional and go above and beyond. 100% recommended. [name removed] the sales manager made the transition easy for my mother. [name removed] the nurse manager ensured all care was arranged prior to my mother arriving and coordinated her care ongoing. All care staff were cheerful and welcoming. Their level of professionalism and care for residents is exemplary.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Johns Creek and the experience has been great overall. The third floor staff is very caring. The housekeeping is good. The move in process was easy. I would recommend this facility to others.

We were very pleased with the level of care my mom received while at Sunrise. The staff were friendly and caring. The food service was a little spotty at times (they ran out of some menu items) and if you don’t like bingo or pokeno, the activities may not be as fulfilling… but overall we were very pleased with Sunrise at seigen.

My dad has a very nice apartment with utilities paid, 3 meals a day , activities everyday. The staff is wonderful with everyone. My dad says he couldn't ask for anything more for the price he pays monthly, you wouldn't get near what is provided elsewhere. I visited him twice a week and have lunch or dinner with him. The food is great and they offer a main dish plus three alternatives.

All the employees we spoke to were very nice and would answer any questions we had. My mother loves her apartment and has made new friends. She enjoys going down to meals and they have activities daily if you choose to go. It has a home type feeling in the community and highly recommend it.

I could not be more pleased with Elance! From the tours and move in to the care takers and nursing everyone is very friendly and accommodating. It is very well run and they are making improvements every day. They have tons of activities and “trips” for the residents. The location on the water is superb and close to everything. I was hesitant to put my Dad in assisted living but he is really thriving there!

He received excellent care during his year at Symphony. The staff was compassionate and caring. The memory care unit was always clean. His bedroom and bathroom were cleaned several times a week. The food served to residents was excellent. The manager of the MCU provided residents many opportunities to participate in various activities.

I have had family members in a number of facilities, and by far, this outshines all. Especially for the nights, weekends and holidays. Those caregivers are excellent. There are so many ++: Communication, Individual compassion for each person. No one is left propped up alone. Staff is no socializing on their phones. Their focus is dedicated to the people. The medical staff is aligned with the medical facility one building over. Doctors come to Dominion to see patients. My sister had to have he foot xray taken. They brought the mobile machine to her room. Convenience and then as she transferred to palliative care they helped every step of the way. And during her hospice it couldn't have been better managed. Peace of mind. From the coordination of enrolling thru her passing I was never alone. They were supporting my sister and I till her passing. I have recommended then to a number of people. Also I had access 24x7

The Blake is a FANTASTIC place. My mom is so happy there and they take great care of her. Communication with the family is very good. Move in process was super easy for us because we took the model apartment fully furnished. I recommend this facility to people constantly. It is beautiful and clean and bright and well-kept. They have SO MANY activities, both on-site and off. My mom does almost all of them. In fact, I have to time my phone calls to her because she doesn't like being interrupted at exercise class or bingo or cocktail hour, etc! The food is good--my mom arrived kind of scary thin following my dad's death, and she has now filled out. The only thing they kind of struggle with is staff turnover and sometimes staffing because of illness. I can't really see this myself, it is something my mom mentions--like, the person helping her shower is new, etc.

A beautiful and friendly facility for much less than others. Apartments are a great size, and everything seemed perfect and ideal.

If a friend asked , I would recommend. Staff was genuinely vested in my mother getting settled and feeling welcomed. They made a difficult transition as smooth as possible. I chose this community based off pricing and my positive interaction with [name removed], the sales/marketing person.

I am a resident at The Black and I love it here! Everyone is very friendly. We are like a big family. The staff is very helpful and approachable. I would definitely recommend the Blake to others.

Currently touring facilities for placement of my loved on. [name removed] (Community Sales Manager) was excellent. He gave so much information to assist with this process. He was professional, knowledgeable, as well as caring. Just his attitude regarding the care of his tenants/community was very impressive. We are leaning towards this facility just because of [name removed] A great help in this process.

There has been issues with the weekly apartment cleaning. All in all my family is happy there and I would recommend

I was referred to Laurel Grove through a friend. I looked up the facility on line and decided to schedule a tour. Immediately, after hitting the submit button I was receiving a phone call back. I was very surprised ??, at the quick response. The conversation was very professional, and customer service driven. I was inspired by the high standards set forth by this facility that is vested into the residents care and engagement.

We picked this community because of the friendly staff and it's cost effective. I would recommend to others.

Having compared The Oaks with other comparable facilities in the immediate area, I would highly recommend it. It is a "home-like" atmosphere. My husband is in the Memory Care Unit of the facility. It is secure and, for the first time in months, I feel that he is in a safe place. Staff has been great--from housekeeping to management. Meals are better than expected--quite a variety and "on-time". Move-in was flawless. This is a new facility in Aiken--PT area, barber/beauty salon not yet fully implemented, but look forward to that happening soon. Also, an outdoor covered patio with lovely furniture and heaters. Have not utilized that yet. Only slight criticism is they should implement an "orientation program" for new residents/caregivers. That would help the new arrivals and save time for The Oaks. it is an absolutely beautiful facility. Very large window in room for natural light, very well laid out bathroom with all necessary safety measures considered. Ample closets. Floors are not carpet, "vinyl" type planks. ..a good thing.
