We picked this community because of the friendly staff and it's cost effective. I would recommend to others.

Having compared The Oaks with other comparable facilities in the immediate area, I would highly recommend it. It is a "home-like" atmosphere. My husband is in the Memory Care Unit of the facility. It is secure and, for the first time in months, I feel that he is in a safe place. Staff has been great--from housekeeping to management. Meals are better than expected--quite a variety and "on-time". Move-in was flawless. This is a new facility in Aiken--PT area, barber/beauty salon not yet fully implemented, but look forward to that happening soon. Also, an outdoor covered patio with lovely furniture and heaters. Have not utilized that yet. Only slight criticism is they should implement an "orientation program" for new residents/caregivers. That would help the new arrivals and save time for The Oaks. it is an absolutely beautiful facility. Very large window in room for natural light, very well laid out bathroom with all necessary safety measures considered. Ample closets. Floors are not carpet, "vinyl" type planks. ..a good thing.

The staff and community members are very kind and helpful while transitioning in and out of the facility. They truly went above and beyond in helping us keep an eye on our father during the early stages of dementia, until he needed more care!

I highly recommend doing a lunch tour with [name removed], their marketing director. Not only was she informative about the community, but we have a very tasty lunch too! We had shrimp cocktail, a house salad, a mushroom and swiss burger, and even dessert! The community was very gracious with inviting us to one of their upcoming events, and we certainly will be back for it!

I came during Christmas time to help decorate and to spend time with the residents. Everyone was very kinda nd I had a great time.

Everybody is very courteous and respectful of every everybody and they look out for everybody, all in a good way. They've been great. I would recommend this facility to others.

I work in the industry and have had many interactions with the sales person. She is helpful and provided me with resources to share with my clients. Great leadership. I would recommend this place.

I was able to meet with some of the staff. Very knowledgeable and caring. The place was neat and clean. Everyone looked happy I was greeted by many people when they walked by me.

It's very nice and upscale. Staff and residents are welcoming and very friendly. They always have something going on to entertain the guest. The apartments are very nice and spacious. This community checked off everything on my list for my uncle. We were overwhelmed with looking for a community for him but were so amazed with everything they had to offer. From the signature programming to the different options of food, to the loving staff we saw, it put my mind at ease.

This community was recently bought by retirement unlimited which is the same company that owns another community I have been looking at, [name removed]. Walked in for an unscheduled tour and the marketing director [name removed] was gracious to take time out of her day to walk us around. I was very impressed by the touch screen TV they have which allowed us to look at different floorpans before talking a walk. It helped us narrow down our search. Everyone we encountered was very friendly!

We brought our Girl Scout Troop to sing carols. The staff was so welcoming and showed such appreciation. They made sure to encourage residents to come participate too and the residents were clearly engaged and seemed very happy.

I found this community, The Fairmont, to be a very welcoming establishment. Their employees are very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was commendable and food choices pleasant. The Fairmont's location is convenient and the grounds well cared for.

I enjoy where I am the food is ok an I love our activities the staff is welcoming a the ppl here are amazing I enjoy living here we always have something to do. The management is wonderful they always there to help.

A great place to stay I love it here an I’m glad I made the right choice. We have fun the food is amazing I have reliable transportation whenever I need it. The staff is wonderful a nice a they will help you at anytime no matter what it is. THIS IS HOME

I love my home it is a wonderful place to stay an everyone is friendly. We go on trips an do fun activities I always have something to do I’m never bored I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have transportation when ever I need it.

The Fairmont is a wonderful community and is located in a great area. The Fairmont's employees are always pleasant and helpful. Their food is delicious and food selections are great. The activities that they plan for the residents, especially at all the holidays throughout the year are exceptional.

Holiday Lighthouse Pointe services excels all others!!! Each staff member works together as a team; to ensure that they provide top of the line quality services. I looked at each high end community and I am so happy to say that I finally found my home. Also, I know that I will be taken excellent care of from head to toe! Please do not hesitate to join our community? You will be so glad that you did!!!! Oh, and wait til you meet “Queen!” My special name for [name removed]!

It was nice good people and fairly priced. We picked this community beacause of the price and quality.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are very good about communicating with the family about your loved one, and you can call and ask about them any time. The move-in process is smooth, but be ready to produce documents like Medicaid info, living will, driver's license, etc. The meals are very good. I would highly recommend The Blake at Kingsport to others.
