Assisted and Independent (2nd/3rd Fl) seems to be very good. If you can walk, take care of yourself and still perform the basic necessities of life that might be the place to be. Memory care on First floor another subject, poor . As nice and loving as the caregivers are in Memory care they are not properly trained in all the different varieties of care needed, especially dementia patients. It's not their fault but corporate that hasn't provided them with the proper training. Would strongly recommend if you are thinking about putting your loved one in this facility that you spend 2 or 3 days on different shifts in the memory care unit to decide for yourself. The staff is hard to keep and it's a revolving door for getting good employers and keeping them on a long term basis.

I am doing okay since moving here. I am doing some of the activities not much but the residents seem nice enough. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. The food is okay.

I toured Harbor at Lakeway and it seemed like an older establishment and a little worn. It was a bigger community. I didn't think my loved one would get enough attention.

Nice people, nice facility, however... the location, very close to a busy Route 3 felt a little cramped and this also translated into the indoor spces as well. My folks have a king size bed that they do not wish to part with and it would definitely not fit into the either the one or two bedroom apartments. Otherwise, the amenities were adequate.

The staff gave a wonderful tour of the community. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. It just was not as bright and did not provide the comfortable feel we were looking for in a community for my mother-in-law. Even the residents that we spoke with during our tour felt it needed some dates but they still liked living there.

I enjoy the games and friendships and home development. I also like the idea if having help immediately if needed. I think with some tweaking. This would be a wonderful place to live.

When we toured Summit of Uptown, none of us liked it. The set up was horrible, they had the dining room all the way at the end of the hall they should have placed it in the center, there was room there. Also, they did not have an elevator, they had a lift which was horrendous. It was a combination of memory care and assisted living. They were more geared to the assisted living and the memory care seemed like a jail, it was not what we were looking for.

Very attractive, a little too austere. Not many residents out in the common areas during the early afternoon. Clean, pleasant staff, pleasant few residents we encountered. Very small residents rooms.

This community seemed clean when we visited, however there was an odor. The people we met were nice. This community has a beautician and a pool onsite.

We had one nurse who was very good and we felt comfortable with but out of nowhere she was either fired or quit. The other nurse's aides are just there. They come in and ask if she needs anything and then leave. It has been an okay experience but it has been hard for my loved one to adjust.

Loved it in general, but did not care at all for the Memory Care Community.

My friend is currently in rehab, due to her having to many falls at this community. For the most part I know she is safe, and they are trying their best to care for her, and her needs. In the beginning she was doing very well with her to this community. They are willing to work with me to figure out what is best for her, and her care plan. It is a good community, and I would recommend it.

My family member is still getting acclimated to the new environment and situation. The place overall has been a good fit for her. One of her complaints is the meals are never hot. The kitchen is not near the dining room, so by the time she gets her food, it's not hot anymore. The aids overall are helpful, however a few are hurried and make it seem like she is bothering them. The place is clean and organized, and they have a large variety of activities.

There needs to be a lot of improvement made in the meals that they are providing. It is also taking my loved one over an hour to get her dinner which is dangerous considering she is a diabetic. My loved one seems to be really enjoying the activities they have and has gotten involved with a lot of them.

I had a horrible experience here. My husband was scaled in the shower and looked like he tried to get out and ended up with black and blue bruises. He did not get good care. The food was bad. I was there everyday for a few hours with my husband. Since he has moved out, he had changed and was not the same

My mother is doing very well here at Arbor Terrance of Johns Creek. I'am satisfied with everything they have done for us. They are taking good care of my mother and her needs. Everything is working out well.

Staff was very friendly and the community seemed to offer the services we are looking for. However, their assisted living section is under renovation and won’t be ready for 30-60 days. Would definitely consider this on our list of possibilities.

The facility is visually very appealing. It is clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly but can be hard to contact. Activities tend to trivialize the residents, but to be completely fair, many are not there completely by choice and do not participate. The food and food service are marginal at best. With the exception of breakfast, food is barely palatable and it can take hours to be served a meal.

This facility is going through growing pains. -The are trying to fill rooms, before having a stable foundation of staff, and a daily routine -they can't keep experienced staff, -staff are expected to do more than care for residents, i.e. clean rooms, plan activities, care for pets and resident rabbits.... - Staff that remain are being worked long hours and shifts. The facility is nice, but they need to work out the kinks before adding more residents. -There are a few upper management personnel that should be reviewed on their skills and decision making. -Staff members are leaving for one of the many memory care facilities popping up in the Austin/Cedar Park area.
