A one year old facility. Modern and clean. [Name removed] was a wonderful tour guide. Large apartments with full kitchens. Many activities. A lot of traffic in the area.

Overall, I like the community and I think my very particular mom is pretty satisfied. It was the best of the places that we looked at when trying to find the right place for my mom. There have been some small bumps along the road in the few months since we moved my mom into Solana. At times, things have happened slower than they should or in some cases, not at all. I don't think there is a place out there that can please all people all the time so I try to be fair and flexible in my judgment. My mom is not a big fan of the dinner food yet she is quite fond of the breakfast menu. I think that management should talk to the residents and find out what they like and don't like and use that information to improve the menu. The people working there are pleasant and genuinely seem to care for the residents living there. The folks on the caregiving end seem to be very busy and (perhaps??) a bit understaffed. We've had a few missed medication visits and missed showers. There seem to be a lot of different activities and day trips although my mom has not really gotten involved in this way. I hope that she will become more interested in the future. One area I've found to be a bit lacking is the transportation to appointments. I had thought that getting my mom to doctors appointments, etc. would not be a problem; this has proved to be inaccurate. I think most families provide transportation to appointments.

Mom is adjusting to living st HC. The biggest complaint is the food they are being served. One evening a few weeks ago they had beef with a sickly looking green sauce. No one and I mean no one at her table ate the dinner. Also when we can, we try to bring her downstairs to the restaurant so she has a choice. Again at a recent visit I ordered a Apple Waldorf salad. What I received wasn’t even close to a salad. There were 4 yes only 4 pieces of lettuce and a lump of chicken salad. So frustrating to order and not receive what is described on your menu. Please fix this. It’s hard to order anything other than soup from your restaurant. You are not providing what you describe on your menu. And you brag about the chef and fine dining. Sorry for being so direct but you ask and I tell the truth. All other issues with mom have been handled professionally and timely.

Brand new facility is impressive, new staff and still forming, no operational historical information, prices seam higher than competition. Sales and admin operations stationed in a trailer in the parking lot for now, no "Certificate of Occupancy" issued by county, no tours of rooms.

HaborChase is brand new and exquisite. That said, as we were touring the property, it twists and turns and I found myself wondering where I was. I can imagine my mother going out for a walk and becoming lost in the halls. The rooms are gorgeous. Price wise, it's a little on the high side for us at this time.

Very nice facility. The two-bedroom units are amazing. But, a one bedroom is much smaller in every respect and disappointing by comparison.

A very nice community. It is well maintained and the staff were always pleasant.I was also pleased with the interactions I was able to observe between residents and staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the community has so much to offer.

Lovely community. Do not like that one cannot age in place in their own apartment (from independent living to assisted living) or use their own personal aids more than four hours a day in independent living. Do not like that they do not have a lot of personalized care options. Would be more interested if the assisted-living apartments had two bathrooms available. Loved the spaces, decor, amenities and activities.

Property was very nice, however the young lady that toured us was very unorganized. She did not know what type rooms were available and as a result we walked all over looking at the same type room over and over. I am going to continue looking.

Beautiful place. Spacious apartments with patio or balconies. A real feeling of family among the residents and staff. Very warm, attentive, and loving staff. This may very well be the place my dad chooses, if and when he moves to Atlanta.

My mother was there during the time it was called Atria. Staff was engaging. Mother loved watching movies. The facility was clean. If there were any issues I would bring it to staff's attention and it was taken care of immediately. When Mother's room had a bad smell we discovered it was because she had an UTI. Mother went on outings - restaurants, fire company, etc.. She had a nice time there. Many thanks to the staff.

Very nice employees, most of whom go out of their way to do a good job. Facilities are very pretty. Offer good entertainment and activities. There are some kinks to be fixed that need attention—they have been bad for too long (the provided telephone and telephone system are poor, poor, poor.). Restaurant looks like a good restaurant, food is presented very nicely but needs daytime Waitresses with better skills. All in all, a very nice facility and needs a little more attention to be a 5 rating.

Lovely property which was clean and welcoming. Staff warmly greeted me and the residents who passed through the entrance area on their way to an exercise activity. My mother loves to walk, and the building layout - long wide corridors and enclosed - would allow her to do so. Had an opportunity to speak with a couple of residents; my mother would enjoy chatting with them. Activities and wrap around services (beauty salon, onsite theater, intergenerational programs) would appeal to my mother.

[Name removed] was very knowledgeable and Helpful by working to get Dad into independent living, w/ ala carte services, and not being satisfied with mandating assisted living. Complementary daytime chauffeur service to anywhere within 5 mile radius. This is an older building, the newer part ( assisted-living) was built 30 years ago. Being located in the middle of downtown Park Ridge is nice - easy access to nearby shops, the Pickwick Theater, and the park. [Name removed] spoke directly to Dad, not to me while ignoring Dad.

Residents were active and social and happy. Many well dressed residents! Dining area was beautiful and the Sunday brunch looked delicious. Common areas were nice. This facility is a converted hotel and is quite large in my opinion. It has had a couple renovations and is nice, however I still felt the vibe of a hotel as it relates to the residential floors. Rooms options varied. Saw many staff with residents, people greeting each other by name. The size of the facility and the number of places on different floors residents need to travel to engage in activities probably would not work for my family member, but doable for so many. Services and supports seem to be similar to other senior living options. [Name removed], who took me on the tour, showed such interest and compassion for my family member and provided me with tons of information about the facility and its support options.

Arbor Terrace was clean and the staff was nice. Fo me, unfortunately, I was not that impressed. I did not want to wear a pendant and I though some of the services were overpriced.

This one doesn't have full kitchens. I called and spoke to [name removed] letting her know that.

We toured this one. There are not full kitchens in any of the places and it is not walkable to shops. We told them it wouldn't work.

My husband and I toured The Vantage, looking for a new home for Mom. The facility was very clean and decorated for the holidays. For me, the Vantage was too large of a facility; they only had studio and one bedroom suites. The rooms seemed a little small for my Mom. It is conveniently located near shopping and doctors; easy access to the highway.
