This facility is under new ownership. My elderly mother has lived here for 2+ years. The facility is very nice and the caregivers are very caring. The new owners are planning renovations, some needed, some not. Well they have been working to improve deficiencies in the dining experience, they still need to make this the highest focus. We love the happy hour three days a week. It's very popular

My dad has been very happy with our selection of the Preserve. He feels comfortably at home and finds the service staff friendly and kind. He enjoys the food and hails it as well prepared and tasty. I appreciate the professionalism, courteousness, and willingness of the leasing and management staff ; they exercised flexibility in tailoring a package that suits my dad's requirements. They were able to create an acceptable laundry package as well as make accommodations for a to-go breakfast when my dad has early morning medical appointments. There communication has given me the confidence not to worry as they consistently alert me whenever an issue is perceived with my dad. The Preserve's value for money is competitive in the market and for me the peace of mind is priceless. My only reluctance to give a 5-star rating is the failure of the office/billing staff to return calls. I now dread calling the billing dept and just hope I'll have no future billing issues requiring communication. Here's to hoping that situation has been rectified with some coaching.

I have 3 relatives here. I like the decor and the activities provided to the residents. The staff are attentive, and they try to get my relatives to go to activities. The facility is clean. I think this is a good place for my relatives. They don’t like the food, however.

My father is well taken care of, and after a few months to settle in, he’s very happy. The staff is always cheerful caring. If there is ever a problem, they are more than willing to try to solve it. The food there could have more variety, or at least have more than 1 special of the day at lunch and dinner. Over all, I’m so happy to have my father near by and so well taken care of. Kudos Atria Villages of Windsor staff!

Tour was very good. The Arbor Terrace is still being completed so we were only able to see one completed model amn another one with bare walls. The grounds looked very nice and our guide was charming.

Beautiful location. Seems a bit large and overwhelming. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

IHAVE BEEN LIVING HERE ABOUT 5 MONTHS.THE FACILITIES ARE WELL CARED FOR. THE MOST IMPORTMENT THING IS THE STAFF. THEY ARE GOOD CARING NICE PEOPLE. THE MGT. TAKES THE TIME TO LISTEN TO COMPLAINTS AND THEY MOVE QUICKLY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. YOU GET 3 HOT MEALS A DAY IF YOU WISH. THE FOOD IS FRESH AND WELL PREPARED.THE STAFF TRIES TO MEET SPECIAL REQUESTS. YOU GET ASENSE OF FEELING SAFE AND SECURE HERE.THOSE RESIDENTS THAT NEED SPECIAL CARE ARE WATCHED AND LOOKED AFTER. OVER ALL THIS PLACE IS A GOOD BET FOR ASSISTED LIVING ,TO GIVE FAMILY MEMBERS THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THEIR LOVED ONES ARE BEING CARED PROPERLY.

Very nice facility. Clean, well-appointed. Nicely designed rooms. Good prices for the Northern Virginia area. [name removed] was very friendly and helpful. Residents were active and engaged. The only question I have is on the lighting-it seemed a bit dim. It could be that we visited when it was going to storm outside, but my Granny may need more light.

No place to park except on a side street. Couldn’t see this working as visits would occur daily .

This is a brand new facility and they’re still working out the kinks. They are doing a really good job and the staff members are awesome. In the beginning, they were having a hard time getting all of the food prepped and getting it together but it’s starting to resolve itself. The facility offers a ton of activities and they have 2 pools, garden boxes you can rent, and they do a lot of cookouts. My parents live in cottages and we’re working on getting them raised toilets and handrails. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Atria at Villages of Windsor is a brand new community. It's small right now, with only about 30 people living here so far. The services are excellent, the people are very nice, and they've worked hard to make us feel right at home. The food is good, they keep the community very clean, and even though there aren't very many residents right now, they have activities going on everyday from exercise classes to excellent live shows. I would recommend this community to others.

This a brand spanking new facility and they’re still working out the kinks. I really like that it’s new and the staff here is very accommodating. From the maintenance staff to the kitchen staff, everyone is terrific. The community itself is clean and upbeat. The one time I’ve eaten here, it was during my parent’s anniversary and the kitchen staff made it a big deal and made us a really nice meal. For activities, they have things like movies twice a day, exercise groups, and tailgate parties. There aren’t a lot of people here yet so they’re still working on activities. In the beginning there were a few problems moving in but things are good now. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. I didn't see much activity going on around us during the tour. It was more of a hotel feel. I was just not a good fit for my Aunt. It was more expensive. But they called and followed up with me and I liked that. I would recommend families tour communities first before making a decision.

We only had a limited tour due to mom's health issues. What we saw was very nice but does not fit our needs at this time as we were looking for something that would allow her more independence. The costs were very high as well. We looked at a deluxe one bedroom that I believe cost $4,500 a month.

Great location. Staff was very helpful and clearly had a desire to work with me. Higher priced but very homey with many activities going on. Facility has all required on site having recently been upgraded. So Far I'm comparing this facility to all others.

I moved into the community and it is very nice and everything has been good. They dropped the price for me because they did not have some things they said they had. I feel like a queen with all they do for me. I have no complaints about living here.

We liked the community when we toured with them. It looked like a nice place. We would have liked to see my brother here but he was not accepted, they are not capable of providing a 2 person assist.However, we did not get a courtesy call about not being accepted. The advisor from A Place For Mom told me about my brother's assessment.
