I am a resident at Atria Villages of Windsor. The word that best describes Atria is family. Both myself and my wife feel the same. Atria is where we are for the years ahead and we are so happy to be a part of this community.

I must admit that I had some concerns about what a memory care unit would be like on a day-to-day basis. When our mother moved in nearly a year ago I learned that caring was the first priority of the staff. My mother has adjusted beautifully in what is a terribly emotional and difficult situation having lost a spouse of many years and being in and out of confusion. The facility is beautiful the courtyard is calming and the staff is there every time you turn around to be sure that needs are being cared for. I so appreciate seeing the dignity that our family members are treated with every day by the wonderful staff! Continued success and thank you for everything!

My Husband and I moved into Atria The Villages of Windsor June 2019. Our concern was how were we going to adjust to the Independent Living new life style and meet new friends. After the first week, the friendly and helpful staff from the Engage Life Team, Concierge Desk, Dining, Maintenance and Housekeeping Staffs in every way helped us transition into an active new life style. We have made wonderful friends, enjoy the daily activities, throughout the week, participate in the many exercise programs made available to us and the dining experience has exceeded our expectations. In the 3 months we have lived here, my husband tells family members that living in our lovely apartment is the best decision we have made to enjoy and prolong a happy, healthful and busy life style.

Ode of honor dedicated to all the staff at Atria Villages of Windsor. During these last weeks of seclusion, one thing has remained steadfast... the commitment and dedication of all the Atria staff to the residents. They have been in transition from one job to another. From meal deliveries to temperature taking, they do any job needed to in order to keep us happy and healthy. Our dear Engage Life staff seen in every area, planning activities with great creativity. Outdoor concerts on golf carts, and everything in between. When an employer is hiring staff, he or she looks for the person who is flexible and responsible, who can follow their job description, but in an emergency, they will do anything that is required of them. The employees of Atria have demonstrated these qualities and have gone above and beyond. Speaking for myself and all of the other residents, we want to say thank you and we honor you for your hard work and dedication. I am a speech pathologist and I’ve seen a lot of senior living communities in the area, however, Atria Villages of Windsor is something special. Amazing opportunities for residents to be involved in, the building is gorgeous, and the staff are next level. Highly impressed!

My mom moved into atria villages of Windsor memory care in December 2018. After my dad passed away we needed a place for my mom to live. The staff and residents were so welcoming. My mom is thriving in the community. She is participating in amazing programs and is happy and living a beautiful life. On [date removed] I was lucky enough to join the atria villages of Windsor family as the Executive Director. Not only is this a wonderful place to live but also an incredible place to work. My mom and I are so blessed to be part of the Atria Villages of Windsor Family.

I’m so thankful for the staff at Atria. My mom is well taken care of and I often joke she looks younger the longer she stays there. The staff really cares about each and every resident and always has a smilie on their face.

My mother-in-law was living on her own. Moving to Atria has been a game-changer. The facilities are beautiful, the staff goes above-and-beyond, and the social opportunities are endless.

Our parents became residents in December 2019 and their experience has been wonderful. The staff is terrific and the level of attention and care was everything we’d hoped for when they decided to make the move. The real test has been these last several months living under a pandemic. Atria has done everything to keep all their residents safe as well as engaged. We FaceTime with our parents on a daily basis. Although they, like everyone else during these days, would love to resume some of their usual activities - they are always sharing what Atria is doing to keep them and all the residents safe and healthy and to make this a bit less challenging. They praise the staff on a daily basis and are so appreciative of the social distancing activities the staff hold to keep them engaged and entertained. We enjoy going to Atria’s FB page to see some of the activities and to see pictures of our parents and their friends enjoying the efforts. Atria at Villages of Windsor was the best possible choice our parents could have made for this next chapter of their lives.

I am very happy living at the Atria during these difficult times. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. We have very exciting programs each day. Each day one of the first things that I do is check the Featured Events on our internal Atria Channel. I look forward to the physical fitness programs as well as challenging my mind with brain fitness. I enjoy the stimulating speakers like [name removed], it's a learning experience. The themed events are exciting and accompanied with related goodies. We have great classical music programs with leading opera stars. In the evening I look forward to the meditation programs which help lull us to sleep after a busy day. Being here is like being on a constant vacation.

I've already referred several people to this wonderful community. They took us all in like family. My mom passed in May. The staff is still reaching out to me, keeping in contact, and checking on us.

Arbor Terrace is a brand new facility, so it looks more like an upscale modern hotel. Some activities they had prior to COVID were organized outings they would take to the farmers market, and other bus trips. They also had arts and crafts, book clubs, movie nights and yoga. Pre COVID our loved one really enjoyed the food, however at the moment they are having to eat in their rooms so the quality of the food has declined a little. The rooms are like an upscale modern space and the bathrooms are very nice. It doesn't look like a hospital but a fancy hotel

I am a healthcare professional and this Atria property is second to none. I see a lot of different communities and this one is remarkable. Feels inviting and more like a hotel rather than senior living. It is definitely more costly, but worth it for the amenities, modern apartments and professional team.

The community is beautiful and has something for everyone. The team in place is amazing And goes above and beyond to cater to there residents needs. There team that handles activities always has out of the box ideas to keep everyone smiling and engaged. I’d highly recommend Atria Villages of Windsor to anyone looking for a beautiful place to call home.

A lovely community. Very large and upscale with a variety of amenities.

The residents who live here are so friendly and my dad has nothing bad to say about the staff. I love feeling like he isn't alone and that he has a life outside of just me. Villages gives my family the peace of mind that they always wanted.

My mom has been at the Atria Norwood for 3 months. It is a warm, loving environment. She is always happy when we visit, and she tells us how good everyone is to her. The staff is caring and always available to us, sending pictures and sharing what she is doing. We are so happy we found the ATRIA! A special shout out to [names removed] for always going the extra mile. You ladies are the best!!

The care our loved one has received is amazing, we truly could not ask for better. This is a beautiful facility, everyone there is wonderful. From the custodian to the director they are all amazing. This community is pretty expensive, but our loved one is really getting the best care, and the food they serve is fantastic. There hasn't been one thing we have complained about. Due to COVID they have broken down the community into small groups, and with social distancing they are still allowing the residents to participate in activities. They offer exercise classes, yoga classes, happy hour, bingo and trivia games.

We chose Arbor Terrace Middletown because when you walk in it is very comfortable feeling, it is like walking into your living room. The studios are smaller than most places we looked at, but she is always out doing activities so she doesn't mind. They are doing hallway activities and bring a lot of crafts for residents to do during COVID. I have eaten here and the food is very good, it is chef prepared. They have a menu with choices that the residents can choose from. The best part about the community so far has been how caring the staff members are and they keep a watchful eye on everybody. I would definitely recommend.

From the moment you walk in the door, this place feels special. Friendly employees, updated decor, and interactive residents. My aunt loves living here.
