We chose Arbor Terrace because of the location, facility, the staff members, and my dad was one of the first ones to move in. They were excellent with communication with everything that has been going on. It is a very beautiful facility and my dad is happy here, I could not ask for more. I would highly recommend.

They have been delivering food to the resident's rooms during the pandemic. Arbor Terrace just opened dining room, and started slowly with one meal, and now up to all three meals in shifts in the dining room. The community just started activities back up for the residents to participate in. All of this is within the last 5 weeks. I thought the communication was very good during the lock down due to the pandemic.

Due to the covid restrictions the activities were very limited, and the value was right on par with everyone else. The facility is beautiful, they have back porches with first bits and the building itself is a like a high class hotel. His room was lovely with big windows. They were extremely accommodating with outdoor visits during the pandemic. When it was time for hospice they let us come and see him and completely covered us with PPE, fresh gowns, fresh masks and fresh gloves.

Our experience was wonderful they were amazing there. The staff members, head of memory care, the nurses and activities director was some of the warmest and most caring people there. They really went above and beyond for our loved one.

It would be okay if it was right for you and your age. Most of the residents were more immobile and negative. The food was good, and the breakfast were very good. The dinner and lunches were good and you always have an option of soup and salad. The food was served nicely. They even had china plates and goblets. This was a newer community and high-end rooms available for the residents.

New and bright. Great location next to Baylor, Scott and White complex. Good team of workers, all happy and engaged with very good energy. Big complex, consideration would need a scooter because of longer walking. Felt educated and not just "sold" on the facility. They have doctors and therapists coming on site, salon on site. Amenities good. Had some damage in the snow event and are fixing up.

This is a very good place for me. I've made the right decision to move here. When I first moved in, I was impressed with the look of the building and everyone made me feel right at home because they know it's so hard to move. Now with COVID, I think Atria is doing a good job to keep me safe. [name removed] does a great job in keeping me busy. She gives me different things to do daily. I am happy with my decision to move here.

I was afraid by walking into the building that we wouldn't be able to afford it. Apartments have high end appliances, wood floors, and a pool. Several courtyards and beautifully landscaped with a play area for small children, and an outdoor putting green. Glad to hear that it is very much within our price range. The menu looks delicious and we spoke with several living there and they had nothing but great things to say.

We enjoy everything about The Lakeside, the facility is beautiful just stunning and comfortable. It is well staffed and they are all very well trained and extremely friendly. Right when you walk in whether its on the assisted living side or independent living, it is just very positive and upbeat. We love the warm and positive atmosphere, it is just positive energy all around.

I am very happy with the care that my husband is receiving at The Preserve at Palm-Aire. We chose them because they had just completed a memory care wing, so they were going a discount in the price and making accommodations to get people to move in. It is also close to me and a newer, clean facility. I think the aids seem very caring and really wanted to find out about him before he moved in. I would recommend them.

This community has sweet and honest people. The staff is managing the pandemic very creatively. The most impressive things is the director has a zoom meeting with the family each week. This has been amazing communication with her. She also offers for mental health zoom meeting with counseling. The resources they have offered is above and beyond taking care of my loved one.

This community is wonderful!! We moved my father-in-law in a few months back and he absolutely loves it! I thought when the time to make the move, he'd be kicking and screaming but he walked into Arbor Terrace with open arms. Communication with the team has been excellent. We couldn't be happier that he's so happy!

I would highly recommend the community. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and out of all the ones I looked at this one was by far the best for my loved one.

We chose Arbor Terrace at the time because of the cleanliness, the facility itself is beautiful, and everyone who works here was very friendly. It is also in a great location, next to a pharmacy, super market, etc. The apartment sizes are adequate for his needs, he also has a balcony facing the pool so it is very nice. It is a great place and my dad is very happy here, he feels like he is home.

This is the place to be if you want a community of interesting residents who enjoy many activities that will help you keep safe, engaged and healthy. My dog Lucy loves it as well. Staff members work here only if they have a strong commitment to excellent service and fulfill the company expectation of kindness, friendliness, and, as a bonus, possess a great sense of humor. Most of us don't just love getting old, but the staff and the residents have make it a rich experience for me and have relieved burdens on family members. We have been kept safe as the pandemic rages. Residents have interacted with grace and managed to see some humor in our "social isolation" or social distancing. Look around, see them all. but if you don't choose here, you are in the wrong place!!!

Even during COVID the staff here are going above and beyond to keep the resident's safe and engaged. The food is excellent as are the activities, I am very impressed with the staff here. I would not hesitate to place a loved one here.

My loved one was taken care of by caring staff. The community is beautiful. I would encourage others to check this out for their loved ones. We have recommend this community to others already.

My mother-in-law had been living independently, but in summer 2020, it became clear that she needed memory care in addition to assistance with meal preparation, bathing, laundry, and cleaning. My husband and I were very worried about her and about her transition to assisted living. The staff at Arbor Terrace Mountainside (ATM) allayed our concerns with their combination of hyper-competence, helpfulness, and personal warmth. The physical space was relatively recently built so the common space looks like a nice hotel lobby with a gas fireplace and good lighting fixtures. My mother-in-law's room is also well laid out with a large, accessible bathroom, good closet space, and two windows that look out onto a courtyard patio. My mother-in-law has already received her first dose of a coronavirus vaccine and will be receiving her second dose soon. I feel like she is getting much better, more regular medical attention at ATM, than she was receiving when living independently. The ATM staff really held our hands to help us navigate the moving in process during a pandemic. They responded quickly and thoroughly to our many, many questions, and really went the extra mile to help my mother-in-law feel welcome. I think they fully deserve this five star review.

My mom was a resident in the memory care (Evergreen) living area of Arbor Terrace of Asheville. I know my mom could be difficult. With her dementia, she did not want to bathe, dress, or participate in any activities. The very caring staff never complained and were able to work their magic and get her out of bed each day, bathed, dressed, and joining the group activities. It was clear to me that the staff genuinely cared about my mom, which made all the difference in the world for me, knowing she was in good hands. My mom's last year of life was at Arbor Terrace and I will be forever grateful to the staff in the memory care wing.
