This facility was the absolute best! Especially the Director of Admissions. I just wish I had put my dad in sooner, so he could have enjoyed all that they had to offer in the community.

So it's beyond a five in each. If they want their loved one to have a home with help and friends of residents and staff, Arbor Terraces of Athens for sure. You can talk to everybody. Easily. Everybody is friendly. Just it's a home I don't know what else to say.

As soon as you walk in, it feels like a family atmosphere. The front desk staff are very nice and friendly. There is music piped in and it is really beautiful. The caregivers are angels and they take great care of my loved one. Other family members feel it is so nice with the staff and environment. There are white table cloths on the dining room tables with flowers. It truly feels like a hotel or fine dining. The menu is wonderful. There are snacks weekly such as fruit, ice cream, or root beer floats. The staff are great at keeping the residents clean and dressed well. There are lots of activities available for the residents to participate in.

I toured this facility and it was excellent. It was our second choice. The sales person was super friendly. She did a phenomenal job and followed up with us. They definitely tried to establish an open, interactive relationship with us. Cleanliness was good. Staff was very friendly.

This is a pleasant and friendly place for me and my family to visit with our mother. She seems happy and very comfortable here at Arbor which makes us all happy! The activities are so appreciated and helps my mom to interact and be social. Thank you for all you do at Arbor to make it a family atmosphere!

Extremely friendly staff. Lots of engagement options for the residents to participant in. Inside court facility could use a little improvement, but doesn't effect the overall rating of the community.

If you were looking for quality care for an elderly relative, the kind of care that you would give them if you were able, then this is the place to go. The staff are friendly, incredibly helpful, and are dedicated to what they do. They communicate regularly with the family, and always make you feel welcome to ask questions.

When my loved one moved in they were in quarantine for a week after moving in to make sure they weren't bringing in COVID to the other residents, and this is because my loved one came from another community. Once my loved one was released from quarantine my loved one didn't know where everything was. I wish the community would have made sure that my loved one knew where everything was. It would be nice to see pancakes or waffles offered once a week and more fruit offered to the residents. There are three meals a day served and there are choices to choose from. Some of the activities offered include bingo, card games, happy hour, religious services, men's lunch outing, field trips, and more for the residents to choose from to participate in.

The only complaint I hear from my family member is about the food, but that can just come down to personal preference. Overall she has been very happy with her relocation there. She's still very sharp for her age, and she really loves the facility. She loves the back gardens. Once we got her belongings moved in, she really felt like she was home. The place is fabulous - it's really so nice, and we couldn't be happier. Everybody there is lovely.

We really liked this community, we liked the security of the community like the cameras they have. This was our second choice but the distance was further than what we preferred, the activities offered are good. Pricing is affordable

The food is okay. We picked this community, because it was better suited for my loved one, it's quieter, and it was more age appropriate. It's a very safe location and it's super clean. The dining room area lost the chef, and sometimes it's too much salt on the food. Sometimes everything offered on the menu, is often not available for the residents. I would recommend to other families. It's a nice place, and they take really good care of the community.

Right when we walked into the Barrington Terrace we knew this was the place for our loved one - like many others she did not want to leave her home and give up some of her independence but the fact that she is happy here is significant. Now they got water damage from the hurricane so they will not be opening back up until February. The cleanliness of the community was one of the main things that really stood out to us along with the friendliness of the staff. Everybody from the front desk workers, nursing staff, day to day staff, CNA's and maintenance they are all wonderful and incredibly friendly. Anytime there is an update, question or concern they are right on top of it and reach out to us in a timely manner. It has just been a wonderful wonderful experience and we like how they have different levels of care. We would absolutely recommend Barrington Terrace of Ft. Myers to other families.

After touring and dealing with multiple facilities, [name removed] was a pleasure to work with. She made the process as easy as possible. Besides her professionalism, I was impressed with the respect and kindness she showed my mother and all the residents. Definitely take the time to tour this facility.

I would highly recommend Arbor Terrace to others for their loved ones. The staff stand out to me due to their communication with the family and the care they provide our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents. There are activities for the residents to participate in. Some of the activities include: games, exercises, and more for the residents to engage with.

We chose Arbor Terrace because I liked the facility itself and the location was good for us. I was impressed with the whole tour experience and everything they had to offer. It just seemed to be a really nice place for mom to be and it has turned out to be so. It is a pretty diverse group of residents. I would recommend them to others looking.

This was a beautiful community. Overall, the community was more than we need for our loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a great tour experience from everything we saw and all the staff member we spoke with.

I would recommend you check out the community to see if it is the right fit for your loved one. My loved one is happy with the care they are receiving. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful when the family calls. The family was told there would be transportation, and they don't have transportation to accommodate a wheelchair. I'm shocked the community of this size doesn't have the transportation to accommodate the residents in wheelchairs.

This facility is great. The atmosphere is personable and a very clean and caring environment. It's very active and engaging. They offer a great variety of activities and are good about keeping the residents active. The food is good quality and good variety. My loved one is picky, but enjoys the food and says she has every option she needs. That says a lot! Communication with the family is good. At one point, it wasn't, but I mentioned it and they were quick to respond and correct it. It's been great ever since. Housekeeping is weekly and very thorough. They also seem to do little extra touches that aren't required. The staff is very caring and go the extra mile. They do a great job of being flexible and keeping people safe. I have recommend them to friends and family and will continue to do so.

We picked this community, because the staff is more knowledagble, they offered more activities off campus, the pricing was clearer, and they had more options for the level of care provided. My loved one has really enjoyed being there, has made new friend, and is able to socialize more. They are good with checking on my loved one.
