I was nice. I went with a good friend of mine and we were sitting in the lobby and a bunch of aids came running out looking for one of the residents. I was glad that they noticed that this person was missing but it just didn't feel as secure. The woman who did the sales and our tour was nice but she was almost ADHD. She would stop and visit with everyone like the ladies running the gift shop. I know she was trying to make it seem like a place where everyone knows everyone but she didn't seem as attentive to my questions. It was nice and clean and everything and it may work for other people. I don't want to bad mouth them - it just wasn't right for us.

Lovely place Dee was very helpful. The location is just to far. If we can't find a place closer. I will differently consider here

Loved the Terrace! The price was good and I like the fact that they have a nearby sister property that Mom could transfer into if she needed assisted living. The only drawback of the Terrace was no washer/dryer connections in the apartments.

Probably a bit too large. May not have the services Mom needs and stay within her price range.

We chose this facility because it is in close proximty to our home, affordable, and had some forward looking systems (QuietTime) that will allow my mother-in-law to age gracefully in place. The staff was very personnable and engaging. The carpeting is older, but their PT and other accommodations make up for that. We're very pleased with our choice.

I have mixed emotions. They are very short-staffed, although that's true of a lot of places. I think they're doing the best they can. But I get disappointed often. Laundry often goes missing. I haven't found a comparable place for the price though. There was a recent change in ownership, and they said they there would be no increases for 90 days. We'll see what happens after that. But ultimately, the people are good to my loved one. They're kind, and they care about their residents. They encourage them, and they prompt them to attend activities. And I feel my loved one is in the best situation that's available to us.

After only 3 weeks, my mother seems to be settling in and enjoying Embark.

Dad is still adjusting to living at this community. The staff seem nice and they do keep the community clean. They do offer daily activities. He does not care for the food. One of the elevators has not been working for the last several weeks as they are waiting on parts to fix it.

Brookdale seems to have their act together in providing a clean and stimulating environment for seniors. Loads of activities, nice restaurant, on-site physical therapy, and local transportation provided. They even accept pets!

My grandma is doing well since moving into Brookdale. We have had a few issues upon her move in. There are times when she gets to the dining room they are out of some of the food. They had a new food manager start the same time she moved in and we are hoping things will change. We had a service where and aid was supposed to help her walk to the dining hall but most of the time they were an hour early or an hour late and they did not walk next to her they walked in front of her. We did end this service.

I chose Brookdale Willowbrook Park because it is clean & people very friendly. Mainly I chose it because it had the perfect apartment available for myself & my brain damaged husband at a bargain price. It is built in a different style from most apartment complexes by being in rows of columns. The hallways between the columns are outside sidewalks forming porches in front of the apartments. Between the columns are beautiful gardens with birds, squirrels, & fish ponds. They allow pets & have a doggie park with bags for waste & closed can to dispose waste in. I am happy to be able to keep my beloved dog with a lovely place to walk with him. The food is served twice a day in a lovely dining room with nice servers. The food is fair and a varied menu with lunch being 3 courses with alternate choices. There is a short order restaurant where you eat is you choose to. They have lots of activities every day, more than I can participate in.

Mom would feel we overpaid if we put her in a georgeous property. We wanted nice and well priced with a careing staff. Lewisville Estates is the right choice for Mom.

Not under 1 roof, but short walk to dining and covered. Independent only with onsite care available. Cheaper since independent only. Evening meals extra.

It's one of the more affordable facilities and the clincher was its residents are happy. The residents looked happy

There is no more dining, they rarely answer the phone, the billing department makes lots of errors. Since management has changed twice, just 1 months after we moved in, it has gone downhill. Most people left leaving only a few residents. The activities are very few, but seems like they are finally adding a few more.

I can only speak to the memory care side, but they are wildly understaffed. Due to that I've had to hire a private care taker to watch mom. I don't recommend this facility.
