Everything went real well!

Our loved one went for respite care at Autumn Leaves of Clear Lake. The staff are very helpful and provided great care for mom. They were very interactive with her and the family. Mom says that she had a real good time at Autumn Leaves.

So Far So Good

I am really pleased with the community for trying to make it right for us. It has been difficult with the change and the staff are willing to make it a pleasant experience for my dad and the family. I like that he is able to get one on one care because there is not a lot residents. The place is brand new and they keep everything clean. My dad has tried some activities and they are working on getting more available in the memory care. He is eating well with the help of staff who monitor his eating habits and he gets variety to choose from. I would recommend them!

We toured this community and the main reason we did not choose this place for my dad is that they only had 2 bedrooms available. The first one was a one bedroom that faced the street and the other was a small 2 bedroom that did not look like it would house his furniture. The staff during the tour were great. The setup was nice and they even have a bar and offered a happy hour.

The experience was great. Unfortunately we were not there long, but the experience we had with Autumn Leaves was just amazing. There was one particular night aide that was wonderful, and in general the care was great.

Very Pleased

We really appreciate their friendliness and their ability to get my loved one involved in social activities and the care they are taking of her. The staff at Orchard Park are more like a family than caretakers. We are very blessed and excited to have found this awesome facility!

We toured this community while looking into memory care options for a loved one. I thought Autumn Leaves of Meyerland was a very nice looking place. The facility was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. However, it was also one of the more expensive options we looked at,

Highly recommended for Alzheimer's care

Having a facility dedicated just for dementia care makes a difference. The staff is well trained to handle the unique problems that come with Alzheimer's, in addition to the typical needs of the elderly. Particular care is taken to know each resident personally, including his or her family and past history, in order to provide individualized care.

Ten Reasons to Choose Somerset

Ten things I like about Somerset: 1. The people who work there are very friendly, with positive attitudes. 2. They have safe rooms inside the building, in case of a tornado. 3. They serve breakfast, lunch, and supper, in areas that are not too far to walk, but far enough away that you know you will get some exercise walking to and from your dining room. 4. They have at least two choices for your daily meals. The food is served to you at your table. 5. They use a nearby drug store to order your prescriptions. You will be charged for your medications, but they don't charge an extra fee to give you your medications. 6. Friends and family members can eat with you for a VERY reasonable price! 7. The settings are beautiful and well-taken care of both inside and outside of the building. 8. They have lots of activities and great entertainment on the premises, church on Sundays, plus special activities throughout the year. For example, they had a mini-fair in the fall with funnel cakes and cotton candy. Plus, they host a carnival for the grandchildren and great grandchildren of the residents at Halloween. 9. They have both one and two-room apartments with lots of storage space and even windows to look outside. 10. They do your laundry and housekeeping for you, too!

truly a wonderful place!

They do a really fabulous job! I was very impressed with them when I first visited and it still feels the same to this day. Everybody is happy, both the staff and all the residents. They take wonderful care of all their residents, are very helpful, and it shows that they genuinely care. They keep the residents active and involved in various activities and make it a very pleasant stay for them. Autumn Leaves of the Woodlands is truly a wonderful place!

1400 Mile Move

Abby and Stephanie of Autumn Leaves of the Woodlands just moved my mother from VA to their neighborhood today. They kept Mom engaged and me informed every step of the way and did not leave until she was all settled. It's a big move for us and Mom's memory isn't what it once was. They wrote a note for Mom to keep with her which details where she is, what's going on with me and my family. The thought of moving mom 1400 miles from one assisted memory care to another was daunting to me. Autumn Leaves made it so wonderful for us all! Thank you!

Beautiful, newly constructed facility designed for memory care only. My guide greeted each resident by name and seemed personally involved with them. Lots of activities designed specifically for those with memory impairment. Very helpful staff - the business manager even made a special trip in on a Sunday to meet with me. They also offered assistance in relocating my mother from out of state, which was one of the deciding factors in my selection of Autumn Leaves.
