Food always looked wonderful. The facility was clean. The apartments were plenty big. The response to the call button was a little slow at times. The directors were helpful, and the staff was pleasant and caring.

1. We have been satisfied with his care. As expected some staff are better than others. My greatest annoyance is with laundry. Even though I have everything labeled, we often find clothes and linens that are not his and some of his have disappeared. In the big picture, it is something we can live with. 2. Everything is very clean. His room is cleaned daily. 3. Administrative staff is great. Listens and is very attentive to our concerns. 4. Quality of care mostly good, at times they appear short staffed. Rating: 4 6. Food: Basic home cooking. Appears fresh and [name removed] finds it acceptable. Rating: 3 7. Activities - Appropriate for the residents considering most of them are pretty far along the dementia scale. Rating: 4 8. Value for the money: 5.

I like the staff. I think admin has been a big help with the transition of my dad. The admin on the memory care side [name removed] has been great to work with and I have a direct line to her if I need it. The food portions could be bigger, but my dad loves everything he gets.

I will start by saying mom has dementia. She is often angry and snaps at the staff helping her. The staff does try to help her but she doesn't always want it even when she needs help.

They allowed a man to try to enter every room. He had tools. He entered my Mom's room twice and hit her. She might have left the lock in the open position. We were told they already had 3 other guests transfer to Truewood. Often there was no one to let us out. The employees would often disappear or be on their phones? For that money, we expect better care. Remind people that with dementia they might leave their door unlocked accidentally. The staff all knew he was trying every door. They told me, it is just his dementia. My Mom is not on Medicaid. Her money needs to be spent wisely.

Some of them are very nice. They had a nurse and a director, which is what stuck out. I would recommend to others.

Beautiful place that looks more like a home than a facility. Only 22 rooms. Nurses are fantastic, skilled and caring. Less favorable things are monotonous food (eggs and bacon every morning and potatoes at every lunch and dinner meal) and housekeeping The worst facet is Corp mgmt. Never received a printed bill, contracts were incomplete and no contact from upper mgmt (Asbury Communites) on written complaints.

Very nice facility cost for 2, With mom having full time care kept price per month under [fee removed] so it was in Dads budget with VA retirement and Aids and attendance. The Gardens allowed my Dad to stay with my Mom. They too were short handed BUT, the quality of care and service was outstanding, and the Executive Chef would come visit Dad all the time, they had activities and interaction 5 days a week.

When we were visiting and comparing communities, the first thing that attracted us was their location (convenient to where we live), but their pricing was good once we started getting deeper into the search. I narrowed it down to two communities to visit with Mom to conduct the initial consultation and the way [name removed] (executive Director) and [name removed] (Director of Nursing) handles that visit was impressive. They were pleasant and gentle with her and that sealed it for me.

Such a friendly atmosphere! All of the staff seems to enjoy what they do and are very attentive. They know everyone’s name and their personal needs. They do a great job with activities and keep the tenants active. The food is awesome as is their dining experience.

Everyone is awesome, I have no real complaints.

Recently new ownership and new executive director. Will be third since we have been there. Many staff changes, takes longer than I would expect to respond to some emergencies when pendant is pushed.

The staff is awesome. They really take care of the residents as if they were family.

Staff at The Heritage Memory Care are very friendly and available to assist with any concerns that we may have. The food is of good quality. We would recommend this facility to other families looking for a place for their loved one. We are very happy there.

Great facility for dementia residents. Attentive to individual needs as the dementia worsens. Staff is very caring and works hard to care for our mom. Close to hospital for emergencies and have visiting doctors making it easier to take care of Mom's medical needs

Overall good experience but they did seem short handed at times but that may be part for the industry post covid They were very friendly and very willing to work with us to ensure our loved one was well taken care of.

The staff pretty much stay out of your way, but are here to help when needed. It's a balance, for sure. Facility is clean. Communication could be improved, but they may be dealing directly with my mother more than with me. I would prefer to be more involved. That comment would also apply to outside therapists, but maybe I need to reinforce my desires. I do believe that this was a good choice and I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff is very kind and friendly, all the time. They treat the residents with love and respect, calling them by name. The facility is always clean and smells nice. They keep their residents clean as well. The chef is excellent and mom praises the delicious meals served. The move in process was easy and they had her picture and a welcome sign on her door, which made her feel at home. The facility is safe, utilizing a sign in sheet and doorbell to enter and a security code to exit. The activities are engaging and exciting for the residents. I would highly recommend this facility. We have been very happy.

They all work hard to help with any concern and work hard to entertain and assist those with different conditions and stages in their life. What a challenging position. We picked this community because we needed to act immediately and it was close by. It's nice check it out.

Heritage of Meyerland is a good facility for a fair price. It is exactly what my loved one needs at this time. The room she has in memory care is a perfect size for what she needs. It has a private bathroom in her room, but no shower. But that is the right setup for someone in my moms stage of Alzheimer's.
