I toured this location yesterday and met with [name removed] at 5:30 PM. It is a very nice facility, the residents were friendly, the apartment I saw was perfect, and [name removed] is such a lovely person. I definitely would recommend considering this to any friends or family.

I have worked at different assisted living and memory care communities in the area. Azalea Gardens is by far the best in Tallahassee. The staff is trained on all types of Alzheimer’s. Staffing is kept up with residents needs and most importantly their wants. From housekeeping all the way up to Management, the staff show patience and heart for the residents. All staff members, even dietary take time out of the schedule shift to spend time with each and every resident. I can say, the staff is knowledgeable on residents life story. Knowing that helps with redirection in a positive and calming manner. If there is ever an issue, you can get a honest answer. Not a ‘well I will get back to you’ response. I am very pleased with Azalea Gardens. Recommend to everyone I come across that needs assistance in finding a loving, caring and compassionate community.

This is a wonderful place to live. I am completely happy and enjoy living here.

The facilities are new, clean and well-appointed. [name removed] showed us around and talked a lot about how they gather information to make each care-plan individual to the resident. Everyone we saw were well-cared for and seemed happy and relaxed.

I like the fact that this place is reasonably priced compared to others. I like that they are nice and attentive to my brother. He gets 3 good meals a day. They will try to engage him to join the daily activities. He is allowed to have his dog so he takes him out all the time. If he had a doctors appointment they offer a shuttle. They keep it nice and clean and they put stuff in the hallways to help with odors. I would recommend this community to other families.

While looking into some options for my loved one I found that this location was expensive. They require a big down payment for the apartment. However, I liked this place the best out the other locations that I have seen. It’s very clean, I liked the lay out, there’s a lot to do, it looks new, it’s in good condition, and I thought the rooms were really nice. I was looking at a standard studio and its good sized, it has a kitchenette, has a little stop top burner, refrigerator, cabinet, pantry, and it’s like a little apartment.

My parents live here and they really, really love it. The staff is very pleasant and really friendly. They tell me that my parents are well liked by everyone and they seem to be super comfortable in their surroundings. We’ve gone several times to eat with them because the facility offers a free “Friends and Family” service on Thursdays. They’re given plenty of food with a big variety and it tastes good. I love that if my parents don’t feel like going to the dining area, the staff will bring their food to them; they’ve been really good to them. There are a whole bunch of activities that the residents can participate in if they want to and they also offer church services. Overall, it’s been very pleasant for them and the price they’re paying is a great value. I’ve already recommended them to others and I will continue to do so.

My Mother-in-law lives here and things seem to be going well. The attention the staff gives her, for the care that she needs, is really good. The staff is able to answer our questions if we have any and if anything goes wrong, they’re good about telling me. Overall, she seems happy. The food is okay, it’s not bad. The options are pretty good and if the residents don’t like what’s being served then there are other things they can choose. Every time I’m there she cleans her plate, so she must like it a lot. They offer arts and crafts, exercise, and sometimes they’ll let them participate in cooking. It seems like there’s plenty of activities for everyone to participate in. I would absolutely recommend them.

We liked Cardinal Court best of all the places we toured. The staff was very engaged with residents, the facility made me feel like I was in a mountain resort on vacation. Even the decor in the hallways was well thought out to engage the memory care residents.

I am really enjoying my time here at Summerfield. I feel like there are lots of activities here, and the people are friendly. I'm getting involved in the exercise classes, and bingo games, and they also have live entertainment here among other things. The meals here are alright, and I like that they don't have very strict timeframes for mealtimes. I love that my family is close by, so we can visit often. My apartment is also beautiful. I'm on the second floor, and I have a patio that I like to go out on to watch the birds. I love the nice, homey feeling of this community, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would in a heart beat !! Such friendly staff as soon as you walk through the door, everything very clean & very professional but yet a homey feeling as well !! I’d recommend this place to anyone! Amazing just amazing !

I love this small welcoming and warm community. It is an ideal place for me this is for long term. I have great views. And the price is reasonable. I'm in the independent living and they have a van service if we need or the bus line is right in front of the building. The dining room is nice and the food is fabulous. I've meet some amazing people. They come in once a week and clean and do the linens. You can get your hair done here and they have people who come in and do mani's and pedi's for you. The ground are well landscaped. I would recommend this to my friends.

This place is amazing and I am so happy my father was able to be there. He was treated like family and this place has top-notch grounds meals and service

I live here currently and everything is going well. I chose it specifically because there was no traffic nearby. The community is up on a ridge and it’s pretty quiet. I’m on the fourth floor and I have a balcony and I really just get to do what I want to do. The weather is great, especially since I came from the coast. I like it, the meals are great, and I couldn’t ask for more. There are a lot of options for food and they change every day. It’s real good. The staff has been very friendly. The facility is kept pretty clean from what I can tell and housekeeping comes once a week to clean the apartment, make the bed, and do the linens. They provide tons of activities like poker, bridge, bingo, current events talks, Wii bowling, and botchy ball. So they have quite a few inactive ones other than active ones. I would recommend them.

My father is here currently and so far he’s enjoying it. They’re very hospitable, they’re making him feel useful which is really big because he’s retired and it makes him feel productive. The food is really good and he’s enjoying it. I think they serve a different thing every day but if you want something else because you don’t like the option that’s offered, they give you something else. The staff is easy to communicate with. There are a good amount of activities like arts and crafts, bingo, and different things like that. They have my dad helping out with handy work even. The facility is kept pretty clean and housekeeping comes by once a week to take care of the bedding and general cleaning of the apartment. I’ve been pretty happy with them and would recommend them.

Everything is going great here! My mom seems very happy and the staff is wonderful. I was really worried at first with how she would be treated but they’re all so loving and patient. They seem knowledgeable about the care that she needs and they make an effort to make sure they know the names of the residents as well as myself. They do a lot of small things that go above and beyond what you’d expect them to. They’ll do things like polish her nails, which is something that just makes her so happy. They have pictures of the residents on their doors and they’ll write small details about that person so you could read who each resident is, where they came from, hobbies, and things like that. Not only does the staff get to learn about the residents but everyone else gets to as well and it’s great. The facility is spotless and I don’t think I’ve seen a single speck of dust. They have tons of activities, too. One day I went there in the middle of the day and they were bouncing a beach ball back and forth, another day they were singing, and I know they do mini golf. There’s music going all the time, especially in the dining area. I was able to eat there and it’s been delicious. My mom has a lot of food allergies and they’re really careful about what to give her. I’ve noticed that a lot of what they serve is cut up in bite sizes for easier handling, they have light snacks during the day, and they have a rotating menu so you don’t always get the same thing every day. I would definitely recommend it here.

This facility is wonderful with fabulous food, numerous activities that are well organized, the friendliness atmosphere, and they keep everything very clean. For their food, they serve the main meal at noon with two entrees. It’s a buffet style so you can just get what you would like and sit down. The dining area sits four to a table with linen table clothes and napkins. They have wonderful salads. As for their activities, they have everything from bingo to line dancing to bag baseball and exercise. If you don’t participate that’s a personal choice. The activities are well promoted with announcements every morning at breakfast. They also have it writing to keep all the residents updated. They also have transportation services. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday you can set up doctor’s appointments. They have been very helpful with my mother. Every Wednesday and Friday they organize a special trip for the tenants such as Walmart or different outings. If you need to be somewhere and are unable to take their transportation service they will help you get a cab at a reasonable price. The staff team is just so helpful. Not only the staff, but the other people that live there are fabulous and friendly. My mother can socialize with anyone as much as she wants to. They offer cleaning for the apartment once a week and housekeeping does a good job with that. They help my mother with storage when she first came in. Housekeeping changes her sheets routinely and my mother can do her own laundry. The laundry area is right near her room which makes it convenient for her. If you need more assistance they do have that availability for you to contract people to provide assistance if need be. All in all I highly recommend this facility. The location itself has a very open atmosphere, they have a fire place, and it is two stories. They also have an area outside that they call the “outdoor trail” that you enjoy walking through.

Creekside Pines is an Independent Senior Living facility that personifies southern hospitality. Everyone is so friendly and it is as though we are one big family. Our dining room serves 3 full meals daily with delicious foods, with an alternative menu also available that has many choices. There are many varied activities available, WII bowling, bingo, several board games, Rummikub, canasta, trips to interesting locations. You will never be bored because each day is filled with new and exciting things to do -- A theater, library, fully equipped exercise room.
