Marshall Pines is an excellent Memory Community. The staff are very kind and caring, and I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a community for a loved one with dementia/Alzheimer's.

The staff is friendly and very attentive As far as the food goes - I think that they need more variety and some other choices if they don't like what's offered

I would recommend. Go for it! Chose it for flexible transportation and much more.

I moved in a year ago and I feel so blessed. Office Manager, and Management run the place as it should be. I get my meals cooked for me 3 times a day, weekly housekeeping, and a variety of activities. I feel blessed I found this place when I needed it

The staff clearly cares about the residents and sees them as actual people. You can tell by how the staff and residents interact that there is a mutual love and respect between them. There are plenty of well thought out activities and you can tell that attention to detail is important at capital place

We took a tour and the staff greeted us at the door and were very friendly. We really like that this building is one story and easy to get around. The building is very clean and everyone living there seems very happy. We felt that all of our questions were answered on the tour. We joined them for lunch and the food was great. We liked that you have different choices.

Our experience with Marshall Pines has been completely positive. This staff is kind and thoughtful and helpful when needed. When my sister’s dementia progressed, we needed to move her somewhere that the staff would understand different behaviors and keep her safe. It’s been better than expected, and she is happy. There are a lot of activities that my sister enjoys and the staff makes a great effort to keep things interesting. Even the chef sometimes cooks with the residents and she seems to always be thinking of new ideas about what to serve. I feel sure this is the best possible facility for people in this area with dementia.

The staff is very helpful. Anytime I call for a maintenance issue for my mom, they quickly address it.

This is a lovely community in the heart of central phoenix, close to shopping, entertainment and doctors. The community is charming and inviting, with welcoming staff. Madison Meadows has a very involved chef who prepares three meals a day that are served in the dining room. This community is very unique as it is one single level, allowing residents to easily take small dogs out for a walk or get themselves to programs without worrying about using stairs or an elevator, great for seniors. Over all this is wonderful community to call home.

I would tell them my Mother is taken very good care of and the staff is phenomenal. I would highly recommend The Verandah to any one that has an elderly loved one that needs that extra bit of assistance in their golden years.I picked Verandah after visiting several facilities and much prayer . The facility was so clean, nice big rooms, so many amenities and activities and price was the last deciding factor. It was actually less than some of the places I would never settle my mom in.

After reading about the Waterford Terrace Retirement Community, I was amazed by the variety of amenities and services available to its members. The neighborhood offers a variety of apartment options, ranging from studios to two-bedroom homes, allowing residents to find the living space that best meets their requirements and preferences. What distinguishes Waterford Terrace from other retirement homes is its pet-friendly policy, which is important for many seniors who rely on their furry companions for companionship and delight. The presence of a beauty shop, exercise center, and heated pool demonstrates the community's dedication to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle for its inhabitants. I enjoy that the staff at Waterford Terrace offers individualized care plans for each resident, just like at [removed] where my dad reside..

The Continental is an older facility, but maintained well. The staff is friendly and make the effort to remember the names of the new residents. The move in was smooth and uneventful. I have been impressed with the friendliness and acceptance of the new residents from both the current residents and the staff. To me, that is more important than the physical property.

We are new residents at The Woods. There is a true sense of community here. There are so many activities available to participate in. This is an A+ facility!

It is not perfect but my loved one was taken care of by some very kind caregivers. I also think it is good to remember they are doing the best job they can. If a person is unhappy with something they need to voice it. The administration works hard to correct the situation if possible.

She LOVES it at Brook Ridge!! It is more expensive than her previous facility, but she is so happy here. She also likes the food much better than her last place. She also loves the bus driver that takes them places to shop & to appointments. I would definitely recommend Brook Ridge to others looking.

I would say that you need to address such things as mobile healthcare, how to get simple pain management like Tylenol to your loved one, check to ensure how such mundane orders like "as needed" is addressed by staff, how long it takes to go from a dr's prescription to a patient getting the med, what toiletting and bathing looks like in terms of frequency and in terms of reluctant patients and in terms of the person doing those tasks,. I would ask about care conferences. I would ask what differences in food there is for someone who needs to have finger foods as opposed to those who need help eating. I would ask to see defined procedures for falls and injuries and violent interactions. I would ask them for the contact information for the assigned ombudsman.I picked. This place based on nearness to family members, referrerences, cost and willingness to answer my questions. I should have spent a little more time looking into all those things listed above as well.

My wife and I spent a week living the Maplebrook life. Everything was exceptional. The staff, food and the value. Kudos go out to [names removed]. Even though we were unable to relocate due to family reasons, I highly recommend Maple Brook Terrace.

We were able to spend 3 days as guests of Maple Brook Terrace and it was a wonderful experience. Contact with many of the residents gave us comfortable feeling about them. They were outgoing in welcoming us "newbies" that were visiting and thinking about making MBT part of our future. The food was exceptional and the wait staff goes out of their way to cater to the many different needs of the diverse population. Activities were most interesting with this active community and would enable one to fit in quickly. The facility was clean, bright and refreshing. A decision for our future has not yet been formulated but MBT is one that will rest near the top of our choices. Thank you for the opportunity to step toward a new choice for our future and solidifying that independent living will be that next move in our lives. Cost will always be a deciding factor in our final choice.

What we like the most about the community is the environment- friendly staff and quick to respond to her needs about her apartment- my mother was assigned another resident to be her "guide" to help her transition to the facility

I come and visit my friend that lives here and have lunch with her for just $5 for a good quality meal. They put a lot of thought into their dining services. They are going through a renovation and things are looking way more clean and modern.
